Although they can be a bit pricey, the food is always amazing. I have never had a bad sandwich, and everything my husband tries is great. Their fresh bread is also great, try the foccacia bread made fresh daily. They even do breakfast now!

The Turkey Bacon Pesto sandwich was very good. They have a great shaded outside seating area in the front. One of the local shop owners had suggested it to us, and we're glad we took her up on it. We would definitely stop there again

Great sandwiches and wonderful soups. The staff always works hard and I've never had a bad experience here. Prices are good, a very nice place to stop for lunch. I highly recommend the turkey bacon pesto with a side if tomato parmesan or sausage lentil soup!

Amazing food and service! My grandfather LOVES the French Onion soup (as do I) and the staff were kind enough to take extra time with us to make sure we knew when to anticipate the next batch. So kind and very much appreciated! This place does not disappoint!!

Stopped in for soup for my sick girlfriend, got myself a sandwich while I was there. We have since been back several times. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is always engaging and friendly.

A unique, deli style lunch option overlooking the river. Great location for breakfast or lunch. The soups are always incredible with options ranging from gluten free vegan to full on chili. Love the sandwiches and wraps but mostly i love the wonderful outside dining under the shade of a 100 year old tree while people-watching in downtown Exeter. There’s something on the menu for every age group from toddlers to octogenarians!

Have been going here for years and quality/consistency always there. Great portions, seating along the riverside and delectable fare. For those traveling east-west on 101, get off the highway for a real treat in beautiful, quaint Exeter.

While traveling on business I discovered this place. Place was packed. Soups, sandwiches, salads, breads and cookies all great! I had the Lentil soup, a turkey sandwich with chips and an awesome oatmeal raisin cookie that was to die for. And all this for less than $10.00 ($9.36 to be exact!). I will go back there next time I'm in the area. Outdoor seating was an unexpected bonus! Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Everything is great. Seating can be tight. Highly recommend. They used to have a ham on brie sandwich but it's off the menu, sad news. Also the tomato soup is good.

Lentil soup was tasty and the pastrami sandwich was delicious. The fries were the best part of the meal because they tasted like fair fries.

Went on a busy Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the speed, the service, and the quality. I had the black bean burrito and my wife had the veggie wrap. Would definitely go again.

A long time standby in downtown Exeter with really great soups, stews, salads, and sandwiches. Everything is made in house and from scratch. We usually stop here for lunch anytime we are in town shopping and enjoy the rotating menu.
