Colonial Pharmacy

So my insurance company sent a letter stating that a medication that I received from Colonial was possibly part of a voluntary recall- they gave me a phone number to call for the company- they basically told me that the recall was for pharmacies or distributors and I didn’t need to return the bottle- didn’t ask for a lot number or date- nothing. So I called Colonial, spoke with Glenn- he found that yes there is a recall on a specific lot number (the exact number that I have) he looked further into it and said that there “recall” is about as clear as mud. Doesn’t tell him what to do nor what the real issue is. So he told me to bring in the bottle and he would exchange it!
This is small town business at it’s best.

Love colonial pharmacy that's so courteous. It's so clean. The stores are easy to find stuff in and they always have a regular cool hand made Christmas ornaments and Christmas decorations. I absolutely love New London. I recommend to everybody at least checking it out. Even if you don't need anything at the pharmacy, just go see all the cool handmaid products that they have from people all over Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine is absolutely beautiful and cool. Really cool to see that stuff at stores.

I have been a patron of Colonial Pharmacy since the early 1970s, when the store, with its quaint worn wood floors and dusty shelves, was in its first location on Main Street. But tradition is not what warrants this pharmacy's 5-star rating. Currently, I find that most of the pharmacists, technicians, and front-line help are attentive and accommodating. This is especially the case with the way they have managed to skillfully jump through the many hoops involved with federally regulated medication supply problems, persistent pre-approval protocols, and insidious drug monitoring program (DMP) barriers to optimum healthcare service.

If you’re looking for New Hampshire gifts to take home or decorate your own home with authentic homemade items the Colonial Pharmacy is where I’d recommend grabbing them.

I had tested positive for Covid at home in the morning and went online to see what options they were in the neighborhood for evaluation and treatment. Colonial pharmacy was mentioned as a place for test to treat. I drove over from Claremont with my son and went through the process of registering as a new client. It was a bit long but it went very efficiently and then I had a visit with the pharmacist Glenn Perrault which was highly professional. He demonstrated a caring attitude and was filled with good information and suggestions that I took to heart. The Whole experience was excellent and I would commend the pharmacy for the service and recommend them to anyone else.

Better than most national chains!! Great local pharmacy, great store as well. Staff does their best, pharamacies are an inherintely busy place especially this day and age where there is a pill for everything.
People giving bad reviews over masks are silly, it has been proven masks do little to nothing any way, so just stop.

I'm reading some of these reviews and I used colonial pharmacy for many years.when I read a majority of the negative reviews it's amazing to me.i personally have never had a problem at all here.from shopping here at the old location to the growing pains of a new location.my experiences have always been top notch. To see people write that the pharmacists are rude is something I've never experienced. And all the techs and counter folks are always knowledgeable and friendly.

Wonderful local pharmacy with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pharmacists always take the time to help customers and really go above and beyond with their service. Nothing like the impersonal and rushed service you would get at a chain store.

It is also a general store with anything you could need from gifts, home goods, cards, seasonal items, school/office supplies, baby supplies and more. Overall I would highly recommend Colonial and honestly wouldn't even bother with any other pharmacy in the area. This one is the best!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here at colonial as a customer. The service by the kids was nothing more than excellent and the place was spotless. Very clean. Very good customer service. This is a very solid independent Pharmacy that has been in town for some years now. It is manned by knowledgeable staff, and the head pharmacists are very polite, and kindly, as they try to assist you through your problem or issue. They are often very knowledgeable on particular meds, and can give added information, as well as the casual or off hand advisement (that is, not to replace that of your doctor). The store is fully stocked with all sorts of over the counter drugs, vitamins, etc. Additionally, as the store is large, it has back to school stuff, as well as items for the house. The general staff too, are kindly and helpful. This is a well run and managed Pharmacy, that I highly recommend.

Colonial Pharmacy is a well run business. It is like an old fashioned Woolworths. They carry anything you could want. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pharmacists go the extra mile and are professional, knowledgeable and take their time with customers to explain medications. This local business is what makes living in a small town so special.

This pharmacy has a local, hometown feel. Being from the south, this pharmacy gives me all the hospitality I would hope for. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly, the store is clean, and the staff are always wearing a smile.

Great Pharmacy with a wide variety of products. Both medical products, pharmaceutical products, books, toys, gadgets, soaps, snacks, and a lot of other doo-dads. Very friendly atmosphere, too!

Great place to find almost anything. I called for info on instore stock and was helped by Ashley. She found what I needed within minutes. Alittle pricey but worth it because of the customer service and the added bonus of not having to drive to Newport or Claremont.
