I would highly recommend Mike for all your upholstery needs. Mike redid 14 teak chairs that varied from 25-40 years old for me. As well as resurrected my husband ESS speakers (40 years old) that were destroyed by cats. The chairs and the speakers look like new. Mike not only reupholstered he cleaned and repaired th3 chairs and delivered them back to us. If found him to be highly competent, excellent service and affordable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY! I dropped my boat seats off on November 28th to be reupholstered. Per the quote they would be ready April 12th. On April 12th I called Mike to see how the job was coming along and was told some wood needed to be replaced on the seats and he's not going to do the job. When Mike quoted the seats it was obvious wood needed to be replaced and we discussed it when he was writing up the quote. His quote did not mention replacing wood, but it was understood it needed to happen. He's using this as an excuse to not do the work which is just pathetic. No work was done in the time he had these; I picked them up 4.5 months later in the same condition they were dropped off. It's not like he got into the job and unearthed some hidden issue. I dropped these off in November so they'd be ready for the next boating season, but now I'm left running around trying to find someone that can do it before my season ends. Absolutely ridiculous! To find out a job isn't going to be done after he's had my seats for over 4 months and my boats supposed to go in the water in 2 weeks is completely unacceptable. This guy is a joke!

Interesting how condescending this guy was just talking about options having my cover repaired vs having a new one made. Not worth the frustration doing business with him. Showed no respect for my small son with me as well. Awkward dude all around. Went to Village Canvas, no regrets and saved $ as well.

This guy was very rude and condescending over the telephone. I called to ask about upholstery work for my boat after having been referred to him, and what I got was a curt, unprofessional response. After asking around a little more, it seems I am not the only on either. I would not recommend getting work done here as from what I gather he doesn't do what he says he will do, and gets to the jobs 'whenever he feels like it.'

I specifically asked what the turn around time was, and expected to have to wait (all places usually have a long wait time and I knew this going into the call). But frankly it was one of the worst phone conversations I've had with ANY business in years.
