King Hill Inn & Kitchen

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon during the fall color season of New England (2021) and we loved it. Nothing but good things to say about both the property and the owners who went above and beyond. Definitely want to go back there one day.

Absolutely gorgeous home from the 1800’s with breathtaking scenery. The owners Paul and Yvonne went above and beyond the entire time (even giving us their spare coats and umbrellas since we were unprepared for the NE weather), they are so kind.

The home is so beautiful and the attached pictures of the external scenery will do no justice. Rooms are so cozy, everything was decorated to make you feel like you are at home, food was delicious.

Will be back!

A beautiful, scenic, serene getaway.. Delicious cuisines that’s healthy & nutritious, Paul is an incredible chef 🧑‍🍳 . Paul & Yvonne are genuinely nice people, making your stay very pleasant & comfortable. They often host corporate events, weddings & family reunions. I enjoyed my stay immensely 🤗.

Paul and Yvonne are kind hosts and wonderful people! The property is gorgeous, spotless, and well-maintained. They always go the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable and welcomed, making sure I had a tasty, healthy, and nutritious breakfast every day despite my specific dietary restrictions. They gave great recommendations in terms of local activities and where to find farm-fresh produce. King Hill Inn was the perfect refuge to recharge after my busy days at a nearby conference. I definitely wanted to stay another week!

Paul and Yvonne are warm and kind, and make you feel like part of their family while giving you all the space you need for your getaway/vacation. The breakfast cooked and served by them was fantastic. This is a very charming and comfortable spot to stay--I will definitely be back!

A lovingly maintained older property with beautiful appointments. Hosts Yvonne and Paul are so personable - we enjoyed chatting with them very much. The breakfasts, cooked by Paul, were delicious, and Yvonne took care of everything else. We don't usually write reviews but enjoyed ourselves so much that next time Paul and Yvonne are in our part of the state we plan to meet them for dinner at our favorite restaurant.

Paul and Yvonne are consummate hosts and made us feel right at home. Exceptionally clean and inviting. Tasty breakfasts with choices. Beautiful grounds and lovely rooms and breakfast area. There is a room for guests to read, play cards or shoot pool. You can tell they love what they do! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day. When in town, visit the Barn Theater and see a great show.

The King Hill Inn & Kitchen is a wonderful B&B run by a very accommodating and friendly woman named Yvonne. Her daughter Natalya was her helper in the mornings during the delicious home made breakfasts.

There were 5 of us staying in 3 rooms for 2 nights. All of the rooms were beautiful with their unique decor and spacious bathrooms. All 5 rooms are on the 2nd floor with a common area room also on the 2nd floor. We loved that we could gather there to talk, watch TV or play pool.

Highly recommend this B&B to those who enjoy gracious hosts in a warm home atmosphere.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at King Hill Inn and Kitchen. Paul and Yvonne were our hosts and they are lovely! The Inn is immaculate with inviting rooms and beautiful grounds. The breakfasts delicious, and dinner was a culinary delight! We can not wait to return! Just a great experience! July 2019

July 20-24, 2019. Excellent experience. Second consecutive summer that we estayed here. Lovely setting, comfortable clean room, delightful screened-in porch, outstanding breakfast -- pancakes are to die for! -- pleasant and accommodating staff. Will return next summer

We had an exquisite family gathering at this timeless venue. The food/wine was exceptional and perfectly fit the occasion. And we adored the staff! Highly recommend this unique spot.

Highly recommendable. Great place with an amazing breakfast. Good location when you are visiting either Proctor Academy or Colby Sawyer College and want to stay off-site.
