Tipsy Chicken Kitchen & Cocktails

We were greeted with a smile and sat right away. Our server, Shelly, was absolutely wonderful! She made perfect recommendations for all of us. The PotPie was delish!! The Mac, Tipsy Wrap, and the Dixie Chick were all also notable. A perfect example of fresh and delicious!!

Loved the farmhouse vibe of the place! The server was very nice and the food selection was great. I would recommend trying the Dixie Chick chicken sandwich and upgrade to their fries.

If it wasn’t lunch time when we stopped, we would’ve checked out some of their cocktails. They seemed very unique. Welp, I guess that means we have to come back!

We have been trying to eat here for a few years. It was ALWAYS packed. Finally made it in and it was AMAZING. Great service. Great food. Great music and atmosphere.
We had the steak, chicken parm, bruschetta, chicken tenders and sweet karoline drinks. Everything was PACKED with flavor IN EVERY BITE 😱 my husband who is often critical of places we ate couldn’t stop raving at house delicious and flavorful it was. This was worth the wait 💕

Shelly was a great, friendly, and attentive server. The food was delicious and made from scratch. There is a decent alcohol menu with various beer choices. The atmosphere was quite comfortable and decorated nicely. A great choice for dinner.

If you are in the elk river area, and want a REAL burger, this is the place to go. It's all farm to table food, the burger was full of flavor, the bacon isn't cheap flimsy mediocre bacon, it's hight quality.
AND the French fries, are simply amazing. I usually cringe when I see fresh cut fries as usualy they are soggy, and these were far from that, they rival a certain fast food chain fries if you catch my drift.
The restaurant itself was very quaint, rustic, and warm. The staff was very friendly and greeted us right away with smiles, our waiter was very attentive, helpful, and with a dash of sarcasm with honestly topped off the experience. We decided this is the only place we will go to for burgers from now on 🙂

First time here for my birthday dinner and was very impressed with my whole experience. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were awesome and the service matched the food and drinks! The steak burger was awesome and recommend that burger if you’re in the mood for one. The Amish pot pie is very delicious and the chicken sandwich is another option and full of flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

What a nice surprise that we ended up here! Our server was fantastic and fun, and the food was unexpectedly creative and delicious. I'm so glad we came here! That Tipsy Wrap is a phenomenon of its own. Not your usual wrap, folks, and far from boring! It's super cute inside too.

Sooo good I don’t even know what to say!
We were here Tuesday night for the first time and came back Thursday bc we wanted to try more things. Even better the second time!! We had the chicken Parmesan and chicken and waffles the first night. Second time we had the beef stroganoff and chicken pot pie. Everything was excellent! The chicken pot pie was the best we’ve ever had! Sorry mom!

This place was so good!! Atmosphere was super nice which I appreciate a lot. Nothing worse than a bad vibe. The waitress was awesome (: our food was so good and so hot which is highly rare!! I wanted everything on the menu. Prices were pretty high but honestly worth it. Would recommend!! Thank you all

Our group of 4 dined without a reservation around 5:30 on a Friday night and they still had a seat for us! Hidden away is this delicious, creative, and darling restaurant. We had wings to start and they were absolutely delicious and juicy. We then had 4 entries. Gluten Free grilled chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, chicken wrap & philly beef sandwich. We ended with their incredible cheesecake on a magnificent gluten free almond & cinnamon crumble. Including 4 drinks we spent about $120 plus tip. Totally recommend for gluten free diners. Opt for kettle chips instead of fries for gluten free. They have gluten free options for buns, bread & wraps.

***Update from January 2023 visit!
Same group of 4 ate different menu items and all delicious! Sadly no gluten free noodles. 😭 I had the wild rice soup and a salad after our waitress Shelly told us that they didn't have noodles. Sadly the reason I chose this place 35 minutes from home was to try the gluten free Mac and cheese. Same waitress both times we visited, was helpful and fun!

Food is fantastic and drinks were top notch. They can get busy, which causes service to lack a little bit due to understaffing, but don't let that scare you away. We will definitely be returning again!

A great spot for wonderful farm to table fare. There's a lot of classic comfort food dishes but each one is elevated. Whether it's poutine, shrimp and grits, soup, chicken wraps, or dessert everything comes with a bit of extra flavor and care. Definitely a too spot in the area and worth a visit.

This is one of the best hidden gems in Elk River. Fun ambiance and gourmet feeling fresh food! They have a wide variety of unique signature chicken dishes. Salads were also good. I got the Chicken Philly on my recent second visit which was very delicious. Service was excellent.

Great spot for a casual dinner. Locally sourced ingredients and fair prices made our first visit here a great one. Will definitely return to try out other menu items in the future. Staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting their favorites. Also had a nice seasonal craft beer selection.

What a great atmosphere (loved the theme) - interesting place to have such fancy drink menu. Food was good and other dishes were really good. Salmon was just ok as I think it could have more seasoning while the Mac and cheese with chicken was great. The salmon spinach dip and poutine was awesome - great taste.

Sunny side up Eggs were the best I've ever had in my entire life! NOT KIDDING. The chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy were great and the breakfast potatoes are to die for. Service is upbeat and amazing. Tip your cooks too folks because they know how to cook a great meal.

Second time I've been here and more than happy with both the food and service. My latest experience we reserved a room for 24 people and they were more than accommodating and welcoming of our large group. The server was super friendly and attentive and they got all of our delicious food and drinks out in a timely manner.

My boyfriend and I are from isanti and took a chance to come here and it was a gem! The food, drinks, service and the atmosphere was OUTSTANDING! We will definitely be back numerous times! It is nice to see a place that cares about the qualities of the food!

Amazing! We ordered the poutine to start and it had the most amazing chicken and sauce! I had a White Girl Wasted drink which was boozy and refreshing - my favorite combo! The grilled chicken sandwich was so good and I love their pickles! My husband had the burger and said it was perfect. The fries are kind of like fair fries (which is a good thing). Our server was attentive and had great suggestions for popular menu items. Can’t wait to go back and save room for dessert next time!

Can’t wait to come back! Randomly picked this place for date night. So glad to find such a yummy place for cocktails and food in the north metro.

Old Fashions were fantastic.
We also had the spinach dip, poutine, gnocchi with fried chicken breast and chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. As I’m writing this the next morning I’m still full.

Felt so bad for her, she had a terrible couple come in not long before closing and sit next to us who 1) could not bother to wait to be seated as the sign said, 2) immediately complained about the price of cocktails & food 3) proceeded to order ice water and chicken tenders all while complaining about the prices and be rude 4) tip her only TWO DOLLARS! Yes, I’m the weirdo who glanced at their receipt as I walked out.

People, if you can’t be patient, kind and/or don’t have the money to go out and tip appropriately (20%+), please stay home. Service workers don’t deserve to deal with terrible customers.
