Kasey is an excellent stylist who knows curly and wavy hair textures very well. She clearly cares about her clients and spends extra time touching up your hairstyle at the end of the visit, as needed. She checks in multiple times to see if there are any adjustments you want to make, as well. She is also clearly a lovely person overall! I don't even live in the area and continue to come back to her every time I am in town.

Kristy is the curl whisperer. I have extremely thick 2c hair and she taught me how to actually style my curls after 35 years on this earth. Forever grateful to her and so happy I found this salon.

First time visiting today and I know this will be my forever spa. Kasey was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and personable and actually listened to and understood me and the frustrations I've had with my hair. She did an amazing cut and provided excellent education, answering all my questions and really helping me understand my new routine. By the end of the session I had the best hair cut I've ever had and I absolutely LOVED my hair! I have never been this happy with a salon or haircut in my life. I’ve always been self conscious of my hair. It’s curlier on the bottom and I could never make my curls look full- it always looked dry and stringy. I got a haircut and a styling for the first time here, and I couldn’t even believe it was my real hair. The first photo was me trying my hardest to style my hair, and the other 2 are after my appointment. Couldn’t recommend Uptown Curl enough! Thank you so much! Great customer service and talent. Jen was amazing!! First time seeing somebody new in 15 years and she did exactly what I asked and made me feel so comfortable! Didn't take too much off and have me a little layering. Love it!!

I had my hair cut and styled by Jen, who did an amazing job and was very generous with her curly hair knowledge. I came in with dry, damaged, sad hair and left an hour later with a bright, nourished and bouncy 'do. I can't recommend Uptown Curl highly enough for people with curly hair!

Soooo happy with my hair care!! First of all the atmosphere was very pleasant. The lady at the front was so friendly and lovely to talk with. They started my hair appointment exactly on time and Kelly took her time on my curls and didn’t rush a thing. I felt like they truly care about your curl journey there and I will never go anywhere else again. Uptown Curl made my daughter and I two faithful customers and two happy, bouncy, curly ladies!

Kelly did an amazing job on my curls (which I thought were waves). I am just starting my journey into healthy hair and after a few months of working at it, decided to get a curly cut to move the transition along. Kelly was so fun to work with and gave me lots of new styling tips and tricks as we went through the haircut, washing and styling process. It wasn't just tips and tricks, she sat there and had a conversation about what I was experiencing with my hair and what my goals were. When she brought something up that I had tried and it didn't work, she'd say okay we'll have you tried this instead? Really working with me on techniques and products that I could try to achieve the results I want! I left with happy healthy curls that have NEVER looked so great in their life. I will be back in a few months for a trim with Kelly NO DOUBT.

I’ve been to Uptown Curl in Stillwater a few times now and have had wonderful experiences. It is a great building with an upbeat and friendly atmosphere. Jen is so nice to talk with, and she has given me great haircuts and styling and product advice. I won’t go anywhere else.
