Once Upon A Child Spring Lake Park

As a first time customer. The staff is always greeting everyone coming in. Bubbly and colorful personalities. Very organized store. I was able to quickly find items I was searching for. I wish the location was in a better spot, I haven’t sold anything before but I asked and even read their policies which makes sense so I’m surprised by the bad reviews. People should just read or simply ask the staff is very generous with their patience.

Customer service is amazing here. They have amazing deals, especially if you're part of their rewards program. The store is always neatly organized. 10/10 would recommend going to this location.

This is my favorite location to shop. It’s much more organized than Andover and Maple Grove, and they seem to have more clothes out. I’m surprised to see the bad reviews, but those are mostly related to selling. I’ve never had a problem with selling there either, but I’ve always brought my stuff in bins.

I've sold to this location a number of times and have always had a good experience. I really like their intake process. At some locations you have to fill out this form, but this place just scans your drivers license and uses that to populate the information they need. You do have to wait at this location while they look at your stuff but they usually finish in about 20 minutes so, realistically, that's less of my time than if I were to drive somewhere else and then come back.

I do browse the store while waiting to sell my items and they seem to have a good variety of stuff. Their toy area is more plentiful and better organized than some of the other locations I've been to.

I drive out of my way to go to this location (I live less than 5 min from the Anoka location)- for buying, selling, and for pleasant staff!
They always have an abundance of inventory in any size I need (I have 4 children) and I’m not tripping over items on the floor or feeling claustrophobic because so much is crammed in a small space like other locations.
This location has continued to improve over the years (new ownership?).
I’ve noticed others commented about frustrations when selling. My experience at ALL locations is that they do tend to break up outfit sets when buying. I’ve been told it’s because they may be in need of skirts in their inventory, for example, but may have too many tops, so they might only buy the skirt that’s part of the set.
They also won’t buy new clothes with tags- or higher-end clothing in great condition- if they don’t need any more of that type of item in inventory or it’s not a style they think will sell.
My opinion for those who are upset about any store not buying their items- they’re not required to buy your stuff! Bring your items elsewhere, sell it online, or have a clothing garage sale! 🙂

I had a very positive experience with today purchase, I was able to call mid morning and asked if they had a highchair, the person who answered my question was very helpful, by placing my name on hold, she took information to hold the highchair for me.

I was able to get to the store before 7pm today. I am very trill about my purchase and the price was right. I would recommend anyone with a family and a budget to check out and look for savings by going to Once Upon A Child.

I have been to this location many times for years buying and selling and never had any issues. They have always been nice. I do understand that they can't buy all that I bring in even some times when they still had tags on them but o well. At least I get some cash before I donate them.

VERY CLEAN and bright store! Great variety of items and they give you a very fair price on items they purchase from you! Very warm and welcoming vibe when you come in - even when the staff are swamped with people and items, they go out of their way to greet you. Will be back for sure! :)

I always find something for my 10-year-old little girl- even the 11-year-old boy (which is hard to find given his size). Nice store, very nice folks behind the counter. I have never had to return an item nor have I had too many issues selling the good condition clothes my kids grew out of.

I was there once. My girlfriend sold some stuff. I was with our 2 year old looking at other stuff. We found a huge matchbox car parking tower with a big slide. And a wheel barrow. Paid $10. Awesome deals. Great way to reuse some old stuff. Maybe it helped my 2 year old is so cute and fun to be around. :)

They are always nice and inviting. The store always had something I need . The best part? I can shop when i wait to get rid of the stuff my daughter had grown out of and they buy they stuff And i buy the stuff from them I need. Everyone's a winner.

SLP Once upon a Child was a very organized store. Clerks were helpful and friendly. I found many cute infant clothes and toys.

I always find great condition name brands for cheap! My boy grows like a weed. They are a pocket book saver!

When I was there the ladies were super helpful! They showed me how to take down and set up the pack & play! I never would have figured out how to do it!

This is my preferred OUAC store. It's very well organized and the aisles are roomy.
