Pretty old school but with reservations. No- literally. You have to make a reservation for a haircut. Great haircuts, done the way barbers have cut hair for years. No frills, just great work. It is 'cash only', so be prepared. And seniors get a nice discount during the week.

Steve, the owner/operator, is an excellent barber. I've been going there for about 10 years now. I also love how I can book an appointment online. Fair prices too!

Great good ol' fashioned barber shop. FYI Steve's hours are 6am to 3pm Tues thru Fri and 6am to 12pm on Saturdays.

Very friendly place. Stopped in but didn't know we needed an appointment. The gentleman still was able to fit my buddy into the schedule. Cut his hair very well and was a very friendly gentleman. Reminds me of a homely type barbershop and very welcoming.

Don't be a bum and go get a nice haircut from Steve (Owner). He is awesome. The online appointment process makes it easy to get yourself a chair any day of the week. He opens at 6am so get in early before work or your round of golf. I moved from New Brighton a few years ago, but I still make the trip across town to get lined up.

This is a great place to get an inexpensive haircut. Tony cut my hair and did well with the fading. Easy and convenient way to schedule though their online website. I will return. Remember to bring cash because they do not take cards.

I'm a very picky customer when it comes to my hair. Among other things, I like a very precise haircut that is well-tapered around the ears and neck. I searched for many years, and tried many cosmetologists and barbers before finding Steve Simmer at Jim's Barbershop. Steve was referred to me by a friend. I've been going to him for several years now, and have never been disappointed. I recommend him highly to anyone. He is also very friendly and fun to talk with. Salt of the earth.

Steve always does an awesome cut! He takes the time and puts in the extra effort to make sure everything is even and looks great when you walk out his door. He always made me inspection ready for my drill weekend's!

We went in for my son's first haircut and it went very smoothly. Steve did a good job with the cut and the TV was a great distraction for my son. Good conversation too. Will come back for future cuts!

I've been going to Jim's Barber shop for the last 4 years and they always do a fantastic job. They even fix the haircuts I've had when I am not able to get there while traveling. Both guys are easy to have conversation with. It is nothing fancy and is priced very reasonable. They accept cash only.

I ended up stopping in here once about 6 months ago because I really needed a haircut and my usual barber was closed that day. I am very picky about my barbers and was happy to get a good haircut from a new barber. I have been back many times since and been satisfied every time with haircuts for each of the guys. My usual barber probably wonders what happened to me. These guys are much closer to me and just as good.

I just moved into town and was looking for a new barber. Being as though I had an excellent barber previously my expectations were high. I did a Google search of the area and found that Jim was close by and open early (7:00AM). I was in need of a cut so I got in before work. Jim did a great job and was very personable. I have to say, I'll be back.
