Opens at 10am arrived at 9:15 and about 25th in line. Most items seemed to be about 25% off, Saw items up to 50% off. When you find what you want, you raise your hand and an employee comes over pretty quickly to give you the ticket and mark the item as sold. If you decide you don’t want it you just let an employee know and they will put it back to sale. Bring a tape measure and know what you need, all sales final. Delivery and set up is $120 and about a week out.

Excellent furniture, marked down due to previous returns, sold AS IS. Go early Saturday if you can. There might be a line! You can buy really good table and chairs at 40% or more discounts if you don’t mind a few scratches or blemishes.

Great place for great deals on high quality furniture. It's hit or miss so you may need to come multiple weekends to find what you're looking for.

If you are serious about finding what you're looking for come before opening time on Saturdays. There will be a line to get into the warehouse.

The people working there are pleasant and the experience, even when crowded has always been positive.

Pro: great deals on quality furniture with minor imperfections (at most). The staff is awesome!

Cons: only open on the weekends, the line to get in gets long, but it generally moves fast. Once inside, it can be a bit chaotic.

We've been here 4 or 5 times, and purchased over a dozen items.

This is an outlet for customer returns, floor models, and/or discontinued items, so you never know what you are going to find. All the inventory is in very good shape, though. Some items have easily spotted minor imperfections, but most look brand new and in perfect condition to me.

They are only open on the weekend, and people start to line up 30 or 40 minutes before the doors open. The line gets long, but moves a lot faster than you'd expect. Once, I was as at the end of the longest line I've seen there, and I waited about 30 minutes before I was in the door.

Once you're inside, it's a bit hectic. Lots of people scrambling to look through the inventory. Once you find something you want, you flag down an employee who marks the item as sold, and gives you a tag to take to the register.

The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. They do a great job managing the chaos. Without such a high quality staff, the place would be anarchy. Can't praise them enough.

Once you've made a purchase, you can choose to have your items delivered (for a flat fee), have the staff load your items into your vehicle for you, or load them yourself. We have used all 3 options. Delivery was fantastic. Fair price, delivered within a week of purchase, easy to schedule, delivery crew put our items where we wanted them in our home, just as friendly and respectful as all the other staff. The staff that loads your purchases into your vehicle for you at the store are wizards. Very careful, respectful of your purchase and your vehicle, and must be Tetris champions.

So much awesome furniture, and most of it 50% off! Room and Board sells lots of modern designs, and that's what stands out in this outlet store.

The store is open weekends-only and all sales are final. People start lining up an hour before the store opens to get first look at the best deals, but I doubt it's worth that wait to see a couch 3 minutes earlier than the last person in line.

Expect some showroom wear and tear, and some returned merchandise, but there are a lot of gems in there. If you're willing to accept a few scratches on the back of a piece in trade for a $500-$1000 discount, you'll love this place.

Love the products. Most of our furniture is from here collected over the last 30 years. Yet still feels modern. Prices and demand are up. Very popular. Not into their pride promotions.

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first when a few friends told us to try the Room & Board outlet in our quest for a couch. The weekend-only hours and the competition didn’t seem appealing. But we gave it a try, as we recently moved and really wanted to find the right couch.

We arrived on a Saturday right at 10 am, and the line outside was probably 50 people long on a cold January morning. The line moved quickly, and the energy inside the building was high. Lots of people, movement, and excitement.

Even thought we went in with the intention of just looking for the first visit, and not buying (to decrease the pressure of needing to purchase that day), we found a couch we loved, which I am currently happily sitting on. The cashier was helpful, and let us choose our delivery date. The couch was delivered early this morning, and the delivery team was professional, prompt, and careful within our space.

Overall, a very positive experience, and I already want to return just to peruse. In addition to couches, we saw arm chairs, mirrors, bookshelves, tables, and more.

Deals can be had on quality Room & Board furniture but manage your expectations. 1st, it does take some time to get in the store when they open on Sat and also checking out takes some time. Expect to spend 90 mins to 2 hours here. 2nd, selection varies every weekend so there's a chance you won't see anything good on the day you go and all the hot deals will be gone by Sat afternoon. They do deliver and it's a flat fee no matter how many items so that is a bargain! Don't need to rent a truck and find help to move.

I love R&B and I love their outlet even more. I live way too close for my wallet’s comfort!

I’ll start by saying listen - this is not a place you go to get cheap things. The outlet will save you money but R&B is quality products so you still need to go ready to drop some $$ if you want to buy anything.

But the R&B outlet has seriously shifted how I purchase items for my home. I cannot get Target and IKEA furniture anymore because I will pay more for quality. I have never regretted anything I’ve purchased from this place. There are no returns and you may get furniture that may have a scratch or two or is missing the felt pad in the leg but I have bought items from the outlet that really have no issue or easy to fix.

Every piece of R&B furniture i have is impeccably built and beautiful. On top of that, I can feel good about the company I got it from and giving jobs to Americans.

Last but certainly not least I am OBSESSED with their native meadow garden. What a unique, impactful and honestly smart thing to do. Each time I’m there in the summer I spend some time enjoying their native landscape. I appreciate this company’s contributions to creating local biodiversity with their garden and helping to educate those who stand in the sometimes long line to get in.

I will always recommend Room & Board, whether that be their retail store in Edina, or checking out the weekend outlet. When my wife and I began furniture shopping, we were at Room & Board Outlet every weekend waiting to see if anything showed up that we were looking for. Compared to other furniture stores, we have never felt pressured to buy anything through Room & Board. In fact, there were a few pieces we were contemplating buying, and the staff told us if we weren't 100%, check out the retail store and see if there is anything else we prefer - we can always come back another weekend to check the outlet. The staff is absolutely incredible! You can usually tell staff who is putting on a smile because they have to versus staff who is genuinely happy to be there to help people (everyone we've come across at Room & Board). If you're planning to be one of the first ones in the store, definitely get there an hour before, if not earlier!

Best furniture store IN MY OPTION in Minneapolis, customer service is amazing. Delivery team is professional. Customer happiness is their priority. Furniture are great quality. They have amazing deals, you just need to look and find it. Moved to new place and starting from scratch got lot of furnitures with in couple of weeks. Where as most of the place has insane wait, I am guessing because of all this pandemic. I highly recommended to check this place. Good part is you can look, feel it and if you like it, they will delivery within a week(only if you choose to or you can pick it up anything you want). Couple of times, I had bad experience shopping online at other places, feels and looks totally different in real.

I was a bit hesitant about going to this store after reading some of the reviews but after my 1st experience yesterday I'm glad I did.

I arrived at the store about 30 minutes before they opened and there was approximately 25 people in front of me to get in. By the time the store opened there was probably over a 100 people behind me. If you are in no rush to purchase furniture and want to casually browse the store I recommend going on a Sunday afternoon.

The staff is really friendly but remember there are a lot of people in the store that need help so if you want a personalized experience and take your time I recommend going to a department store. If you know what you want and you are capable of making up your mind quickly you will love this place. Especially if you're looking at buying room and board furniture specifically.

I will say the most desirable items sell quickly on Saturday morning but if you go on a Sunday you can get a feel what the store is all about and very well could still find nice stuff. Good news is they restock the inventory for each weekend. I heard they also restock some stuff for Sunday but I'm not sure if that's true.

I was able to buy a couch and dining room table for a total savings of over $2300. I wanted an accent chair but by the time I picked my couch and table all the best ones were sold. Both items were still on the room and board website so I was able to verify the original retail price( even though it's on the tag) as well as other details about each item I was purchasing. Both items were in excellent condition. I found that most of the items there are in very good shape but some of the stuff does have some noticeable damage.

Be sure you look over each item very carefully as all sales are final. Bring a measuring tape! I've seen people selling stuff they just purchased at the outlet store on Facebook market place because it doesn't fit in their house.

The people complaining that the stores pricing is still too high should try wayfair or ikea.. Are some of the items still expensive? Yes it's room and board. Can you find some high quality furniture with huge saving?Absolutely!

Lastly I recommend you bring a friend or family member to help you hold items. if you walk away from something it could sell 1 min later.

One of my favorite adventures! The highest quality furniture for amazing prices. We have stocked our house with things from the outlet and never had a problem with a single piece. As much as I’d love to tell you to forget about it so the lines are shorter, I just can’t, it’s too good! If you love R&B furniture, make the stop.

Show up 20-30 mins before door open and bring friends to help "hold" stuff so you can keep browsing! The first 15 mins are overwhelming, but once you settle in, it's a blast. Our first trip, we snagged our ideal bedframe, a huge and unique bookshelf, and a one-of-a-kind rug.

This is the site for the discount showroom on Saturdays and Sundays. The pieces can be floor models, overstock, special order returns, scratch and dent, or discontinued close out. Anywhere from 20-75% off retail! Pieces are first come first serve and there is a line before open. If you want something, raise your hand and they will write it up. If someone else raised their hand first you are SOL. Shipping is reasonable. You can carry out small pieces or bring a truck/trailer and they will load you up right away. All the employees are friendly and helpful.

The Room and Board Outlet is a great place with friendly and cheerful staff. We have two sofas from here. They provide high quality goods, many of which are made in the USA. While the wait times can be deterring (I wish less people knew about this gem) - and this review probably doesn't help my case - we'll be returning for more.

Know what you are looking for. Get there early. And be prepared to claim what you want quickly. No time of being iffy about whether you want that furniture piece...cause someone else will.
The staff is really helpful. There is a 'cartoon' room for kiddos to hang out in. Make sure you look the piece over carefully before you buy. Often it's minor reasons that its at the outlet, but sometimes it can be a bit more.

If you're looking for a deal (and an adrenaline rush as you run through the warehouse trying to be the first one to your item of choice), check out the Room and Board Outlet!

Make sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before opening to join the queue, or you might not get in. Great way to get furniture without waiting for long shipping times.
