Cub - Plymouth Rockford Road

One of the only Cub Foods that’s open 24/7 anymore… (at least the closest one to north Minneapolis) The layout of this Cub Foods is a little different which takes some getting used to, however the staff is friendly, store is clean & the store has two entrances. Also should be noted that this Cubs ‘plant’ section is often better than most with a good selection.

I do a lot of curbside pick up orders and I get Andrew a lot of the time. Andrew has always been so polite and accommodating. He goes the extra mile. He brings my grocery’s out with a smile and waves every time! He’s great and I just wanted to acknowledge his hard work and kind personality. Thank you Andrew!

This is my all time favorite location. Well stocked and always fresh produce. Clean, and awesome employees. Makes shopping more relaxing at this location

I'm writing my review for the bakery. The custom birthday cake I ordered was delicious, looked great, and was on time. The baker, female with pink/purple hair, was a huge help, and her skills made the cake look so cool.

I shop here regularly and have to give them a shout out for their excellent customer service being a lower cost local and convenient grocery store. I forgot an item at the checkout and they honored my purchase at the service desk which I felt was above and beyond my expectations and they even refunded me the difference in price (I did have my receipt). The staff is here quite friendly and helpful for being a busy store. Their selection is decent. I encourage others to shop here if in the area. The pharmacy is also great and has great staff. The liquor store also has a good selection and reasonable prices.

Love shopping here, especially the online ordering and picking up feature. Great, friendly service and love when they text you while shopping and if out of something, they shoot pictures of what is available as options.

I love this store. Service is great. No matter what you buy they will still talk with a clear, nice voice and treat you like you should be. I was in the V8 Splash section and i had grabbed a bottle but we all know what happened, I dropped it. There was already an employee in the aisle making sure all the prices are up to date ( which is also great) and said she would have the mess cleaned up in minutes. I was embarrassed so I walked away but when I came back (about five minutes later) you couldn't even tell what mess I had made. Thank you Cub for being there for your customers!

Excellent Shopping experience. Fresh vegetables and wide range of products.

My daughter had purchased a gift card, and after we got back, she realized it was the wrong type of card. Knowing that the cards are non-refundable/no exchange, I figured I would have to explain to her that she just used her Christmas money on something she would not be able to use. We went back up to this Cub within minutes, as we live right behind it. At first they were reluctant, which is understandable, but the Manager there was very professional and understanding, and he was able to fix the problem. What a business that went above and beyond, and actually treated the situation as a real issue, not fraud, which can be hard to find sometimes these days.

I shop here regularly and the staff had always been friendly and efficient. At times I have asked for out of stock items and someone usually comes through. The staff at the deli counter is excellent!

Hey, Cub Foods folks. This public health crisis is frightening to many, and many in our fair city have made unfortunate and poor decisions based on no or inaccurate information regarding best practices for how to handle our current situation. I stopped in today to get some essentials for the week, and chatted with a bunch of you. Your jobs are always important, but right now more than ever. You are, quite seriously, holding Plymouth together. Thank you for sacrificing your days off, dealing with poorly informed/idiotic customers stock piling ridiculous items, asking dumb questions, and probably not acting with dignity given the circumstances. You are manning probably the most essential store in the entire city right now, and I could never adequately express my gratitude. Stay safe, and keep up the good work.

great. If you see him on the floor, he is usually helping other departments or on his own accords. He will help you with
anything.

Daren is almost always on the floor helping everyone get what
they need. Feel free to ask him anything.
Front (Cashier/Service):
The Front line is Fast and effective on getting you through the door.

- Kathey is absolutely my favorite cashier at this location,
she is very helpful and cheerful about helping customers.
Her smile is the best to see when I go through the line.
I will always go through her line if she is there, no
questions asked.
Heather
Heather is usually seen in the Customer service desk, she
will get you anything you need from
returns/exchanges/etc. She can quickly solve whatever
inquiry you have.

Produce and Grocery are trained to check you out)
Meat & Seafood:
The meat they cut are surely the best in the area. They will make sure you get what you want. They take orders which is very helpfull when it comes to buying more then what is put out on the shelves. Though when it comes to their stuff in the aisles they are a bit slow on removing the expiring stuff, due to the busyness of the department, which is given.
-Staff: Manager : Brad
Brad is the Manager of the meat department with many years of experience there he will have all the answers on anything you need Meat and Seafood related.
As.Manager : Steve
Steve is the Assistant manager and he will give you all the
information you can want. He is quick on prepping meat.
Jerry
Jerry is an amazing worker in the meat dept. Works with Brad and Steve on getting you the best cuts of meat daily. He has vast knowledge on meats, ask him anything.
Harold
Harold is usually the afternoon worker, he is very helpful with his customers, offering discounts on leaking/expiring products. He will get you out the door quickly with anything from the service counter.
Toni
An Excellent worker in the Meat Dept. Focused on giving you only the best quality of meat or seafood. He will make sure you are getting full worth out of your choice. His recomendations are amazing. Try the Marinated Savory Alabama Chicken Breasts. Its his favorite.
Chad
Chad is finally back, he is a great worker in the meat dept. usaully seen on the floor making sure you dont buy expired meat products and makes sure you have what you need through the day.
Josh
Josh is fairly new in the meat dept. which is given for his review. He is adequate when it comes to his work in the meat dept. but will get better the longer he works there. He will make sure you get helped at the counter.

Overall: Has a few Quirks. But, this Cub is Great and Worth shopping here

Good items, reasonable price 👌

Had the "Endless Summer" hydrangea that I put on my mother's grave. Also, they are one of the few places that carry my favorite pretzel. Good parking.

They always seem to have things in stock. Sunday morning donuts are quite good too!

It was a really nice experience to shop at Cub was very quiet in there just before the Thanksgiving holiday that was a surprise and the people were very helpful helping me find what I needed and talking to me it was a great place to be able to shop.

Essentially a very a large grocery store that has good selections of produce Frozen any manner of groceries you would expect they also have specials that bear watching because some of the prices are high and some of the prices are good but overall a good store

I had a great experience I am I the cub on Nathan lane almost every day I got to know the staff there and they are always helpful and very kind it is my store that I like the best

Deli food is reasonably priced, fresh and good. I prefer this smaller Cub foods to the larger location off 100

I always order from this bakery and I am never disappointed. They always deliver and I always receive great service from all of their employees.
