Arrowwood Lodge at Brainerd Lakes

Really enjoyed our stay here. Beds were very comfortable and the pool was fun for everyone.

Great indoor water park! The staff is attentive and friendly. They have a restaurant on site and the food was wonderful, delivered to us at the pool. If you need to top that off with an alcoholic beverage they had quite the selection. And in the bathrooms it was very large and had individual shower stalls, group showering and plenty of toilets.

I would recommend this park to anyone, especially for a gathering or a party.

We charged the Tesla here. Awesome water park, indoor arcade and also outside park. The outside park was great to use while charging the car. We also took advantage of the arcade. Would definitely like to stay here sometime!

Very nice and clean! Very comfortable beds and especially pillows! It was neat that each room (cabin) has a different woodland themed name.... nice touch! There's also a huge Waterpark here, great for families! It was closed when we were there, as it has limited hours right now- so check their website for times! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Nice stay!

Met people from the shuttle from MSP Airport. Gave them a ride home. Looks great.

Beautiful facility. Warm and welcoming. Room design is different and INCREDIBLE. Location is very good. Restaurant/bar is has great food and relaxed atmosphere.

Waterpark was great for our family birthday party! Water was warm. And we ordered pizza from the hotel restaurant. We will go back!

It has a lodge feel to it which I liked. The staff I delt with were friendly and nice. The rooms were clean and while maintain. Also have a water park for the kids. That seem to me well kept and clean and safe. There is a 50 dollar deposit for each room which is understandable. Overall I would stay there again with my family.

The bar staff was amazing!! Front desk was backed up but apologized. We were double billed for the room, they were able to back pay us quickly. Rooms were perfect. The water park was very loud (bad vent fan maybe) we will be back.

We came to Minnesota to see snow ❄. We’re from Florida and we were bound and determined to have a winter wonderland vacation. Seeing as how we’ve never seen snow, this was a vacation my son (5 years old) and myself will not soon forget.
The lodge is absolutely gorgeous! I love the rustic decor. My son and I spent many nights just running around the lodge playing hide and seek. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and very clean. I have to give a special thank you to Shawn at the front desk. She is such a sweetheart! I could talk to her all day. She’s more than happy to go above and beyond to meet your needs. I can’t think of anything negative to say. Everything has been perfect. We’ll definitely be making plans to come back up here again next winter!

We were very impressed with our stay at Arrowood Lodge! Our room was ready right away at check-in and was clean and cozy. Even though it was the room closest to the waterpark area, there was minimal hallway noise. The waterpark provided lots of entertainment for our elementary and preschool aged children. We loved the theming and especially the indoor/outdoor hot tub! The locker rooms were nice and clean and the price of snacks in the pool area seemed reasonable. The only downside of our stay is that our son ended up coming down with a fever and cough our first night there so we had to check out a day early (the kids were super bummed about that). The front desk was very accomodating and understanding of our situation. We look forward to coming back sometime soon and exploring the Brainerd Lakes area!

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The complementary breakfast was great for the whole family. The staff was friendly and helpful. The water park was geared towards younger kids (I would say 2-10 years old) and their parents. (Teens would have a miserable time) There was a small arcade on site as well with a handful of redemption machines, but not much else. Overall it was a great weekend getaway.

The rooms are very large (and have different layouts to accommodate different groups) and pretty nice. The food in the hotel restaurant is surprisingly good. I had a NY Strip, it was a bit over-seasoned, but amazingly tender. I enjoyed the fingerling potatoes, fresh green beans, and an amazing side salad with it. The free breakfast buffet isn't amazing, but it is about 100 times better than a standard continental breakfast.

Overall the stay was great. Place was a little busy but expected on the weekend!
Having a daughter on the spectrum, I am always nervous about places like this. The staff (Specifically Matthew down at the pool/Snack bar area) went above and beyond helping during a meltdown when the pool was closing for cleaning, after giving her a slushy to calm her down. He also helped her in and out of the pool a few times when she was scared! Very impressed with the service here and feel fully comfortable coming back again!

Can't rate rooms, we didn't stay, were there for a wedding. Staff is awesome! Did a great job for our neice's special day! Excellent keeping up with buffet & keeping water on our tables as well as cleaning up used plates, etc! Well done crew!!

Our room was very accommodating. With two beds upstairs on a loft the wife and I were able to sleep alone all night for the first time for the first time in well... I don't think years is an adequate time period as I believe were approaching a decade.

The water slides are great. My eldest son must have climbed those stairs 3 dozen times. Getting him to sleep was a breeze at the end of the day.

Breakfast buffet, it's simple sure but I've seen places screw this up. Not here, the eggs were perfect, fluffy, hot and delicious. The hash browns were cooked wonderfully, and the sausage was so good I had a second helping.

This place is great, especially if you're a fan of cabin decor.
The reception is wonderful, and they are speedy, accurate and friendly.
They boast a couple options for large groups and wedding receptions. Very well decorated.
This might be the cleanest hotel I have been in recently. The room is huge! It's just a normal room but, to quote step brothers, "There's so much room for activities!"
On top of all that, being a suite based place, it is priced low.
The pool looks awesome, but is currently restricted, rightly so, due to covid. Large indoor waterpark. If I was 12 I'd be in there the whole time.

Had my wedding here. A 90 person event and everything worked out perfect. The catering staff all went out of there way to make sure everything was in place. The food was excellent. Everything was beautiful. It was within a moderate budget, and the coordination was great.

First the bad.

Had an elevator that was out, so one elevator was shared by 4 floors of people. The elevator that was out didn't have a sign it and indication so it was a bit annoying to have to keep trying it just in case.

Now the good.

Sanitizers outside of every elevator, staff all wore masks, and the rooms were quite nice. There was no in room cleaning unless requested and all amenities had to be called down for. Why is this in the good? Because it means that since we entered the rooms until we left, nobody was in our room but us. In the midst of a pandemic this is a great policy.

The bed was pretty stiff and the pillows were passable for someone who is used to a great pillow. The rooms are fairly large and had plenty of space. There was an indoor water park but we had to pay extra for it and the time slots we're a bit of putting, but the family loved it and it was worth the extra.

Finally checking in and out was a breeze.

Other.

Breakfast was fine, hand outs from a fridge but they can't exactly do a buffet right now. We never went to the restaurant so no comment on the food. Their play ground was fun for the kid, but the weather made it hard to really enjoy it.

Verdict:

Would recommend to anyone. Over all a great stay, the staff was very nice and helpful. Always wore a mask and we're friendly.

This is our second time that we have stayed at this hotel. We booked the cabin suit on the 1st floor. It had a Jacuzzi in the room. A small living room area. Very comfortable king bed. It was a very nice pleasant stay. We always choose this hotel in our trip to the BIR Performance Driving School and also get a special rate for that. We did not have the breakfast because we usually never made it to it. We highly recommend this hotel. Ah! The food at the restaurant is pretty good too. Arrowwood burger with sweet potatoes fries.
