We had a delightful time at the Grand Hotel. The rooms were not only charming but cozy and quiet. There is a good integration of modern comforts with old world panache. The check in was via codes so no staff was visible. We were given a phone number should we have needed help — we didn’t. The hotel restaurant was closed but we found a welcoming and tasty local Mexican restaurant on the next block. After a good sleep in a pleasant setting we left wondering why anyone would stay in a chain hotel.

Our waitress was amazing and the food was very good. My Bloody Mary with bacon infused vodka was delicious! We didn't stay just ate at The Fort.

We had a wedding in Rush City and this hotel was only 4 minutes away, which was great. It's a super cool hotel that is over 100 years old. They have the rooms set up old fashion, but nicely renovated. Each room is unique and super cute.
They have a small coffee bars on the 2nd floor and a sitting area with a fridge on the first floor. There is no elevator.
This is a self check-in hotel, so you have to have door codes to even enter. Your communication is over email or phone.
We really enjoyed our stay here & would stay again.

Was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were awesome. I stayed in room 2 and had a wonderful time. It was like you were back in the early 1900's. With a newer amenities.
Would recommend and lol Mabel 's was amazing food cooked with love and was well priced probably less than it could be

I hope tonsaty there again.

The hotel was quaint and very clean. There doesn't seem to be on-site staff but there is an emergency phone number that you can call if needed. I would definitely stay again. The restaurant wasn't open during my stay so it would be a good idea to call ahead if you want to dine there.

Went here for a paranormal investigation. The hotel is a beautiful building and has plenty of history. Fantastic atmosphere in the building.

Wonderfully remodeled, 10 room Air B&B, late 1800's early 1900's look. Restaurant open Monday - Saturday, 1st & last Sunday of each month. Times vary to seasons.
Rooms are spacious and offer microwave & refrigerator. An outside patio to relax and read a book or just reflect on your day. An inside lounge to play a game, read some history or unwind by the fireplace. Fire optional.

Nice place. We didn't have heat in the original room we rented so called and they gave us another room right away. Older decor but very clean.

Beautiful, historic building. Interior remodeling is well done and captures the beauty of the original building. Great place to rent for small(25-50) group parties. Rooms to rent upstairs are cozy and quaint, each with their own ensuite.

The hotel is absolutely amazing! The kind folks who run it went above and beyond to be sure we could get in since our flight was late. The room was spectacular -- maybe haunted ... I would recommend it to any adventurous person who loves antiquity. This was our second stay but not the last.

First timers to the Grant house ..Don't worry about stopping here...The friendly staff will wisk you off your feet....As soon as you walk in the grand entrance.....The food was phenomenal....My favorite was the grilled asparagus, the prime, the to-die-for irish potatoes, and the seafood bisque.......Can't wait to go stay the weekend here.....We'll probably not even leave the premises...Just stay in our room til breakfast, lunch, and dinner....Thank you Grant house staff for the conversation and delicious food ......Most relaxing unforgettable meal ever. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!!!

The Rush City Lions rented the Grant House dining room to host 27 party-goers. Management allowed our Committee to bring our own decorations and even helped create an elegant atmosphere. The charm of this historic building created the perfect evening.

Quaint, historic, beautiful and charming. It is formally registered for conservation and you won't be disappointed inside or outside. Visited late in the morning for brunch with friends. Portions are very generous, very very tasty and beautifully presented. Highly commend!

Very good food, went up stairs and got to meet a ghost called tne lady in white is what they call her. When we entered the room was so strong of women's perfume and i instantly became extremely ice cold. When we went back into the hallway i was not cold anymore and no perfume smell. There is more to say but its hard to explain.

An historic old lady. Built by relative of Ulysses S Grant. She did fall upon hard times and was up for saie. She has been rescued by a unique consortium. She has been reborn into airbnb. The restaurant I am told will be open soon. Please visit this 124 year grand old lady. It will be well worth your while.
