Rose Villa Retreat

Was just there this past weekend and all of your upgrades are awesome. The mattress toppers are great and I slept so good. The new work stations couldn’t be any nicer. I have a very bad back and the new chairs felt so good!!! If I had one complaint it would be that the front window covering should be light darkening. The two girls that sat there were sweating their butts off and had to have fans running all the time. Grrr I would very much recommend Rose Villa retreat.

We are a small group of quilters and are making our 4th trip back. Accessibility is important for us. The choice of coming in the front door or back gives us all opportunity to arrive in multiple vehicles. The bathrooms are large and easy to access. Rosemary checks in often to make sure we are good. We love the bakery for breakfast. The pizza place across the street. Ice cream at the top of the hill near the market. So worth the drive for us.

We have had an opportunity to reside at Rose Villa Retreat twice in the last few months. We have had a small group of 5 go both times and the smaller group is comfortable for a scrapbooking weekend. We could certainly have a couple more people, but we have a lot of supplies so having more than 7 is hard to image we would feel we had all the space we need. The owner, Rosemary is very kind and friendly. The location is great, "in town" with a bakery, pizza place and a tavern very close by, all walking distance if you/your group wanted to order something to go or get a bite to each without going far. Parking is right out front, making loading and unloading very easy. Our group will be returning for sure.

Love this place for crafting!!!!! It's affordable and the owner Rosemary is extremely nice!

We recently stayed there and was very disappointed. The beds were horrid, most uncomfortable toddler bed. Pillows were old, the flannel sheets were all bally. The beds have footboards and your feet hit the footboard. It was very very crowded with 7 people. 4 foot tables don't work for scrapbookers and stampers. No shelves in bathrooms for cosmetic bags. Towels and washcloths smelt like they sat in washer for 5 days. The blinds don't work that well, the sun just beats down in the afternoon in the craft area. The craft area is very small, there is just stuff everywhere and no place to put your scrapbooking totes etc. Furniture in the craft room that nobody would ever use, takes up a whole lot of space that could be used for crafters. Never going again.
