They have become our appliance repair go to’s! The customer service is responsive and just so wonderful and nice! The repairmen who came to fix refrigerator, dryer, and dishwasher were honest and knowledgeable. Each time, they would come in and quickly find the problem. If they didn’t have the part on them, it was easy and quick to order and appliances are fixed in no less than two days! A very worry free experience.

Drove a good distance to pick up a ice machine. Staff was very nice, polite and helpful. Sales person was not pushy and all. Ice machine has been running for 20hr with no issues. Highly recommend giving them a chance. Store was clean, appliances if used seemed in very good shape and in some case didn’t looked liked they were ever used.

Friendly staff inside the store that are willing to help and answer questions if you would like to DIY, or you can have a technician stop by for a reasonable price and they can fix it in your home. Each time I've needed someone to do the work for me they were fast and friendly and showed me how I could do it myself if it happens again and how to prevent that issue going forward. Highly recommend!

Our Samsung dryer was making a squealing noise that sounded like metal on metal. If this was 30 years ago, I would have thought a bearing was bad, but this was unexpected in a 6 year-old appliance. A mid-day call to Major Appliance (MA) on the Tuesday after Memorial Day (2023) got us on the schedule for service on the following Friday. The tech, Will, was on time and after listening to the dryer for 3 seconds, knew the problem. The idler pulley (apparently a known design flaw) had failed. Since he had the part with him, Will had the dryer apart, repaired, and back in working order in no time. Their price for both the part and the service seemed more than fair. Will was friendly and informative. He also complemented us on the cleanliness of the unit. They are now our "go to" for appliance issues. Highly recommend.

This business proved to me and my husband today, why it is always better to shop at locally owned small businesses. We drove over an hour today after I became so frustrated with fixing my dryer I was ready to replace it. I saw a unit in the store that was both a washer and dryer in one. I thought that was super cool, and told my husband I’d ask an employee why they’re not more popular and if there’s any reason we shouldn’t buy it. My (cynical) husband told me “of course they’re going to say you should buy it. It’s twice the cost of the dryer we were looking at!” I blew him off and asked anyway. The employee that I asked went above and beyond her duty to sell me a dryer. She started with telling us why a combo unit wasn’t a good idea for everyday home and family use. I agreed with everything she said, and moved on from my dream of only one appliance in my laundry room. She asked what was wrong with my dryer, and I told her. I told her I had fixed it and replaced parts a hundred times and was sick of it. I needed no convincing that I was going to spend easily over $500 today. After explaining my issues, the employee insisted I try to replace the thermal fuse, something I just did about 5 months ago. I assumed this meant I wouldn’t need to do it again so soon, but the confidence of the employee convinced me to give it a try. I spent exactly $10, and drove the hour back home. Low and behold, my dryer works now with the new fuse. The employees at this store could have EASILY let me buy a machine that would have cost me not just a ton upfront, but a ton more in repairs as time goes. If their morals prevented a lie, it wouldn’t have been a problem to let me buy a new dryer today. They could have answered my questions and taken my $700 and left it at that. That genuinely wouldn’t have been wrong of them, I did come to do exactly that. Instead, they saved a stressed out mom and family all but $10 of that $700. I JUST finished a large, expensive home project, and will have no choice but to replace my fridge soon. Not having to also replace my dryer when it took me $10 and 10 minutes to fix, is a godsend. Thank you again to the staff, and if you’re reading this review and wondering if this store is worth a stop in your mission to find a machine, the answer is “absolutely”.

I had Devon come out and work on my fridge. My fridge is from 2001 and is considered one of the family. Companies like this are disappearing every day. Thank you for being in business and being a business for the community not against. Thank you Devon

Very impressed I gave them the measurements and they had my part the very next day. Made a appointment with another company and they wanted to charge me $115 minimum to come out and diagnose the problem I got it fixed by a friend and the inner glass was $60

Absolutely love this place. First time in there and the lady who helped us was amazing, delivery fee was cheap for my washer and dryer. Great small family owned business, who also honor their warranties, the gentlemen who delivered were just as amazing. Definitely will be going back.

On 03/16/2022 I went into Major Appliance and bought my new LG front loading washer. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the woman who I worked with, but she was amazing! She was kind, knowledgeable, and all around gave incredible customer service. Because I live so close to their building, she waived my delivery fee, so awesome! The two men, Devin and Eric, who delivered our washer were just as amazing too! They took our two old washers with no problem and installed our new washer, as well as showed me how to use it. Talk about great customer service! Highly recommend buying your appliances from Major Appliance in Mattawan!

Love these guys! Have bought a wide range of appliances from them that have lasted for quite a few years w/o issues. Always very pleasant and reasonable for stuff that has needed repairs. If you need something fixed I would highly recommend them! Had them take a look at my dishwasher. They guy told me I'd be better off buying a different one as it was an expensive fix for a poor design. I was very appreciative and he barely charged me anything.

A wonderful locally owned store. We went in to look at refrigerators because our 5 year old LG died. Rather than sell us a new machine, Lindsey told us that it was a know issue with LG and if we filed a claim, we could get the parts covered. Of course we chose Major Appliance for the labor and they were fair priced and courteous. The repair guys were so kind. I’d recommend anyone looking for appliances stop in here.

Personnel are knowledgeable and kind! Not only did they help me with my purchase but they installed the appliances quickly. Fantastic prices and fantastic service!

Amazing service!! Devin was the tech who came to our home to fix our dryer. I had "tried" to do the google video thing that is SOOOOO easy UNTIL you get started! Anyway, within ten minutes he had the dryer up and running. Very professional, extremely courteous, did his job and was in and out. If ALL the techs at Major Appliance are like Devin, there should never be a dissatisfied customer. Thank you.

Great people... great service. I purchased an electric dryer and had a noise develop about a week after the purchase. I called and spoke with Lindsey, she had a service tech out the next day, he ordered a new motor and blower wheel now the dryer is basically brand-new.

Definitely check them out before buying new appliances for 3 times the money.

Our dryer wouldn’t start over the weekend; called Monday morning and got on their schedule for Tuesday late afternoon. Will was the technician that came out and quickly identified the problem, he had to run to their shop and pick up a part, was back within minutes and had the dryer up and running within the hour. I would highly recommend this company for their timeliness, dependability, professionalism and cost of doing business!

I bought a refrigerator here 4 years ago and it's still running great! Nice sales staff and the delivery guys were awesome. To top it off a few winters ago my friend blew a tire during a bad snow storm not far away and they let him hang out inside till we got there and let him keep the car there for two days!

We needed a fridge & this place was recommended to us. Really glad we went here! Very town to earth. Honest & very helpful. Got a good deal on a slightly damaged fridge. Will definitely be back when we need more appliances.

Over many years and 3 different homes we have used Major Appliance. They have come at different times to repair needs our washer, dryer and freezer. Knowledgeable, quick, expert service at a great price. We are on a first name basis and consider them friends now.

These guys are great. Devon was amazing! He showed up and fixed the problem with our gas dryer in a timely fashion. He even offered advice on how to maintain the machine to last for years to come. Their price was more than fair. What a value. 2 thumbs up!

Scott hooked me up in getting a dishwasher part. What was suppose to take 2 days for delivery, he did it by getting the part the following morning. The dishwasher is working like new! Great location!
