Captain Nemo's Sandwiches

I have been going to captain nemos for awhile. So glad to see the one in Romulus back up and running like it was before the pandemic.

This place is so great. I’m so glad they’re open on the weekends now. I feel I have been going here since I was a little kid at age 15 or younger and still go I am over 60 Excellent Place to have a great, sandwich
thank God they’re open on the weekends I come far far away I live in Harper Woods Michigan and travel all the way to get this sandwich my man and I always enjoy the food. The steak and cheese is the bomb.

I’ve been coming to Captain Nemo’s since I was a kid and it was always a favorite of mine. The last few years the food had definitely went down hill and it was disappointing to see. I live 2 minutes from Captain Nemo’s and would drive the 10 mins to Belleville to order from there. Once I heard there were new owners I decided to try it again and it is so much better, it reminds me of when I would get it as a kid. The service is great, and the food is even better. The buns are always soft, the subs are packed with meat and trimming and it keeps me full for hours. Would definitely recommend

The steak and cheese is one of the best subs around. The meat is always juicy and tender. The seasoning on the tomatoes with the oil dressing makes this sub a notch above the rest. The staff is always friendly. I just wish there was indoor dining.

I swore off this place about 5 years ago because of the worst customer service experience ever. Today is the first time I've been back since learning of the new owners. The young lady taking orders was super helpful, and kind. The wait for my food was about 15 minutes but it was dinner time, so I assume that's to be expected, and sitting in the dinning room no one was yelling/using slurs towards the workers/each other.
The food was so delicious, and you get so much for the price. I can't wait to come back.

Heck ya!! Captian Nemos is under new managament and it is showing in the best way! The food is great, the hours are back to normal and they are even fixing up the building. Went there to grab dinner tonight and the staff was so friendly. Spread the word Captians Nemos is back and better then ever.

This place is GREAT! BEST PLACE IN TOWN for some unique sandwiches that hit the spot!! Delicious grub and the staff are ALWAYS super pleasant and friendly!!

Got to say, I had a very good experience here and looking forward to more. I used to frequent the Bellville location and after getting nickled and dimed pretty badly on my last visit that is no longer the case. The subs here were head and shoulders better than what I was used to.

I have been eating there for 35 yrs and they have the best subs hands down! It is always a treat to goto the one in Romulus or Belleville

I miss this place so much! I speak of it all the time! I moved away from Michigan in 2019. I wanna come back just for the pizza sub. You have no idea how many times I've tried to get people to bring me all the stuff so I can make one at home here in iowa!

Great sandwich on fresh bread! Met the owner, who was very friendly. We'll definitely come back again!

Decided to give this place a shot today. Got a double Reuben (16") and it's a really, really good sub! Very lean, no fat in the Reuben. The employees were very friendly and since I had told them it was my first time there, they told me what they put on it. All very nice people and good subs at a good price. Explains why they've been around for 50 years. Definitely going back next week!

My buddy told me about this place. Him and his mom and dad have been eating from there for years. I don't live in the area but was going with him to his parent's house in Belleville. I have to say the sub was excellent. I will make the drive out to get it again. So worth it. I ate here a couple of weeks ago. Just now getting around to write a review. Again, worth the trip.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years! I moved to AZ and made sure to stop in anytime I would visit now I moved back and still enjoy the subs. It’s about an hour drive from me and they are unfortunately never open when I can make it to them! It’s a bummer they aren’t opened weekends!

All I can say is Wow, stopped there today on 2/22/24 to get 2 steak and cheese Subs and there were excellent the new owners have really turned this place around, If your looking for a Killer Sub this is the place hands down

Used to come here a lot with my mom when I was a little kid before she passed away. This place means a lot to me. Feel a little closer to her every time I come. Hasn’t changed at all.

I have loved 🥰 Captain Nemos subs for yrs now ! Thier stack and cheese sub with extra extra oil and extra seasoning yum! The food is phenomenal, the service polite and friendly... plus absolutely love the friendly atmosphere! Thank you ladies and gentlemen of Captain Nemos for your amazing service 🤗🙏🏼

I love the whole menu!..sandwiches are cooked in front of you very delicious I have eaten Captain nemos subs for 25 years they are the best!
