What a fun store! They carry such interesting and unique products. John helped me a ton in choosing a stroller and they have a great display area for car seat and strollers. I’ll be back!

This place is such an amazing toy store. Over the last 5 years, we've purchased all our gifts from them. We love their excellent customer service, vast selection, and how they'll gift wrap a purchase. Highly recommend going to them rather than a big box store.

Placed a telephone order for a baby gift I found on their website. They mailed it out to me in New York city where I reside and I received it in four days. They took it upon himself to even gift wrap it as well. Great products, great prices and lovely people.

This store has always been my go to for baby/kid gifts, and now is the only place I'll recommend for strollers and carseats. You can actually try the carseat in your car to make sure it fits, and they will install for you if needed!

Our family loves MNB! The staff are always so friendly & helpful. We know we can trust their recommendation & the products they carry are high quality. Our little guy loves the toy section, any toy we have purchased from them is high quality, sturdy & gets regularly played with by him. If you want a one stop shop for all your baby & toddler needs, I can’t recommend MNB enough!

Real quick visit to Michigan had to do and see as much as I could. Hanging out in Ferndale, I looked up Baby shopping and this location popped on the radar while driving and made a u-turn to get there. Happy I did.

Parked on nine nine mile road and walked in this well kept, original unique baby shop. I’m not usually shopping in this category so fortunately Sean was there happy & ready to greet. I asked directly what I was searching for and he walked me around the shop showing me the varieties, styles and explaining to me what’s hot, different ideas for gifts.

I saw right away the items I liked. Spent some time deciding on a couple things in the mix after and met John at the counter to pay and exit. Also helpful, answered my questions and I learned they also will wrap and have cards available. Sean killed it in the wrapping game and was very happy with my overall experience there. More childhood friends are having kids and who knows for me.... I’ll definitely recommend what’s available here and be back when in town. Really cool store.

What an amazing store filled with great quality products for parents, babies and kids. The wall of color gradient organized Jelly Cats was so beautiful. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

This place is the cream of the crop when it comes to baby gear. They are beyond knowledgeable and have so many brands. They spent over an hour with me trying out different car seats in my car in order to fit three across. They talked me out of the Doona after looking at both our cars and hearing about my daily routine and even recommended products they don’t sell. Their whole goal was to solve my problem safely and efficiently, not sell me things I don’t need. They also installed what I bought and were able to show me how to work all the car seats in my car, even the ones that I didn’t purchase there. I HIGHLY recommend them for anything baby-gear related and I will be coming back for any baby/kid gear needs!

Very nice selection of quality and VERY cute baby gear and essentials without being overwhelming like huge chain stores. They even have those fun hand puppets which I think I need to buy for my husband as he was very nostalgic about them ha

Owner John and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Might be a bit pricier than the chain stores, but they carry higher end items that you won't find at the big stores and have obviously hand picked some of the best items available on the market that you don't have to worry about researching since they've done it for you. In fact, I compared some of the pricing with big box stores and they were no different.

Since I live on the other side of the state I rely on their online site which hand quite a few items out of stock or the color I wanted. I think (hope) I can call and order it though.

You also receive good advice from experienced parents and help support local business which is great. They have a baby registry and ship free for items over a certain amount so you can't beat it!

I now firmly believe if you are a first time Mom that a car seat & stroller needs to be an IN STORE purchase with the help of a Associate. I believe his name was John and he was amazing! Excellent knowledge of the different brands and type of need you might have shopping for a car seat and stroller. Not only was I shown all the bells & whistles of the carseat and stroller I was buying but the car seat was installed for me as well!

Placed an order for multiple items. One was missing and another was damaged. Tried to contact multiple times but no response at all.

Update 5/2/22: After the review, the owner John & staff reached out to me. They immediately replaced the missing & damaged items. I really appreciate the willingness of this business to fix the issue. I will buy again.

I purchased a parent console for my wonderfold w2 wagon online and it arrived with 2 days! I was hesitant to order at first because this product is sold out EVERYWHERE. I called to verify stock and they were so helpful! Great experience!

I love love love this store! The people who work here are absolutely amazing and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! They have a great selection of baby products and toys! My favorite part of the store has to be their Jellycats though! I highly recommend this store for all baby and Jellycat needs! I seriously cannot stress enough how wonderful their customer service is!

We’ve been shopping at MNB since before our oldest was born 5 years ago! One of our favorite neighborhood places to stop in for baby shower gifts, birthday gifts for kids, or just random speciality items we might not find at other places!

Such a cute store! We purchased our Nuna carseat and when we picked up we met with John. He gave us an in depth tutorial, installed for us and was very knowledgable. Highly recommend!

I continue to love Modern Natural Baby - it is the BEST store for kids. Everything from clothes & games & toys to first aid and cosmetics, baby plates, cups and utensils, an amazing array of stuffed animals and more. If you ever need to pick up a gift in person, this is the best place in the metro area, for sure. They even offer gift wrap! I hope they stay open forever.

Came to look at car-seats. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they are doing. The products are their shelves are carefully curated. We ended up buying a car-seat, running stroller, and baby mattress. My wife and I had walked there, so we planned to come pick up our purchases the next day... but the owner (I think) personally dropped off everything at our front door on his way home. I have not experienced this level of customer service outside of Japan. A++!!!!

We had an amazing experience. The staff was kind, knowledgeable. We purchased shoes and they fitted and we found some beautiful gifts.

We purchased a Wonderfold Wagon the other day and love it! The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They also never pressured me to purchase a more expensive item, instead they helped me find the right fit for me. My little one is already obsessed with our purchase! She also loves going into the store and exploring their stuffed animals, because they have literally any type you could imagine!
