Jeff is the nicest guy and his prices are good. He'll order a copy of albums if it's not on the floor like I said.... excellent condition of vinyl's and so much more of things I'd like tell you about his adventures. But not enough time.

Love this man and this store! The owner is the absolute coolest guy ever and loves to crack jokes with everyone. By far my boyfriends and I’s favorite place to go to for new and used CD’s and vinyls. He has a great selection of all genres and if you’re a regular and are looking for something he will keep a good eye out for whatever you are looking for. My boyfriend stops in there at least twice a week and always comes out with new stuff. Couldn’t recommend this place more, also love that he always has music playing from vinyls on his floor. Not a record store, it’s a record home.

Great selection of vinyl, and the album I bought was in pristine condition. I loved the record store vibe - talking to the dude working about my choices and being around all that vinyl really gave me a sense of nostalgia. I look forward to going back

State Perceptory is one of the very few stores I go out of my way to visit nearly every week. The cd and vinyl selection is consistently fresh and top notch. On top of that, the owner is always friendly and very helpful.

Very cool to find an actual record store. We stopped in this past weekend with the family and although my rowdy 2 year old was running race tracks around the store (not touching stuff), the guy behind the counter who I assume is the owner was very nice about it since he wasn't bothering anything. My husband found a few records to add to his collection. The guy also said they are always unpacking more so we will definitely stop back in when we visit Port Huron again!

This is the coolest record store I've ever been in (and I've been to Piccadilly Records in Manchester, so that's saying something). A great selection of both vinyl and CDs, especially Electronic and Alternative. Jeff is a really cool and knowledgeable guy (not to mention he gave me a great deal on a set of Depeche Mode CDs). I would definitely visit this place again.

If you haven't been here yet, go. This place has such a great selection of collector's items on top of so mant CDs and vinyl records. I highly recommend this place to any vinyl lovers out there! Plus, the owner is cool and very knowledgeable!

My main man Jeff makes this store worth coming to by himself. The way the vinyl is organized is awful but I mostly go for CD's. Also, no cassettes :(

every time i go into the store i get a shot of adrenaline! it's like heaven. the colors alone are insane! great music choice! ive purchased at least 10 records from this place, two by recommendation by owner himself! its easy to see the passion jeff has talking about music, and will go out of his way to educate ya on anything! I could spend hours in this store talking to him!

What a cool store to find the vinyl for which you've been endlessly searching!! The owner is super friendly and he's got an impressive selection of records on-hand! Definitely worth stopping by to see what they've got!

Absolutely great place to go for records, cds, and even a small collection of dvds!!

The records are less of the old age ones, so essentially 12" and bigger, not the 10" and smaller ones. At least from what I flipped through.

Then the cds range from Rock A-Z, and occasionally you can find sections listed by band. Most notable bands (that I remember off the top of my head) are meatloaf, Madonna, Janis Joplin, Sarah McLachlan and more.

I'll personally be returning to widen my taste in music. First time I went I got a cd based off cover, and it was "Something to write home about" by 'The Get Up Kids' and tbh I'm in love. So I for sure need to revisit this place and get more cds.
