Far East Chinese and Thai Food

This place gives very large portions for the price. I've only had their combination plates and I always am able to get 2 meals out of it.

Food is very flavorful and you have the option to go from mild - extra hot for spice level. Combo plates come with spring roll and sauce, fried rice and whatever dish you pick.

You can order online for takeout and if you call them and request curbside, they will do that as well. Very kind staff.

I ordered take out tonight from here. I got egg drop soup, and #8 Almond Boneless Chicken.
My food was ready for pick up when they said it would.

We ordered a tray of sesame chicken, almond chicken, and egg rolls for a party last night. The food was delicious, plentiful, and had a nice presentation. Everyone that tried it, loved it. This was our first time ordering from there but we will definitely go back again!

Wonton soup has always been my favorite Chinese dish, theirs is the best I’ve had, my mom agrees the same about the egg drop soup, everything is so fresh plus there’s no msg’s, that’s a win win.

Hands down, the best! Everything was super flavorful with fresh ingredients. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and egg foo young.

I’ve ordered from here 4 times now and EVERY time it is spot on, amazing food. Great staff, easy, on time online ordering. Being gluten free it is hard to find or order fried rice with no soy sauce but here you can. Online you can customize your order perfectly. I always get the combo fried rice add bean sprouts, broccoli, and cashews. Tons of meat, lots of shrimp and all the other goodies. Fresh and hot. Love love love this place. Highly recommend if you are gluten free.

Big portions and great food. Perfect for carry-out, although they do have a small dining area. I love their vegetable Pad Thai. My grandkids like the General Tso's and the Almond boneless chicken. Their prices are really reasonable, too.

I had the Sesame chicken and it was the best I think I've ever had. So many times I've ordered Sesame chicken from other places and it's been "mystery meat" , a.k.a. kind of gross. But the chicken here is crispy, really well cooked and great quality meat. Fantastic sesame sauce and really fresh. It's a pretty fair price, the portions are reasonable, and the people I talked to on the phone and in person were really nice.

I have been coming here for about 3 years now and I have never been disappointed. I don't work in the area anymore but I make sure I make the drive from Clinton Township when I'm craving some Chinese. It's had to find such a consistent and delicious Chinese food place. I always get the sesame chicken. Big portions good price delicious meal. Love love love far east! Also try their online system for orders. It's awesome.

Best Chinese food ever! Every chicken dish was delicious with high quality Brest meat. The sauces were tasty and varied. Awesome crisp egg rolls and fantastic wonton soup! We ordered using Uber Eats and the food was at our doorstep in 22 minutes! It was hot and delicious! We will order from here every week!

The General Tso's chicken is one of the best I've had! Portions are very large and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I usually go to another Chinese restaurant in the area but they were closed so we gave Far East a try. Its closer to his house which is convenient and the staff was very friendly. I got the Lo mein noodles and he got the sesame chicken. We both really enjoyed our meals. He like my lo mein as well and said he would get that next time. It was a little more pricey than the other place but the portions were still huge, so I would say it's worth it. We will definitely be coming back!

I got the sesame chicken and it was one of the best sesame chicken dishes I’ve had. The chicken was very fresh and all white meat, crispy, the perfect sizes (I hate when chicken chunks are huge), and not heavily breaded. The sauce was amazing. Hoping this place is consistent, because I will order from here again.

I'm not one to seek out Chinese or Thai food but this place is AMAZING. We've done carry out a number of times and the food is always piping hot and ready at the time of pick-up. General Tso's and their drunken noodle dish are excellent. Great value for the cost and always have leftovers for the next day. Many items to choose from on the menu.

I came in and ordered my usual, the Almond chicken, with fried rice, and an egg role. I git home and was ready to enjoy, but they had forgotten the gravey!! I called and even though I was out of delivery range a guy hopped in his truck and drive it all the way to me!! I was thankful and in awe of the amazing customer service, they have a customer for LIFE!!! I even tried to tip for driving all the way out to me but he refused it!! Plus their food is fantastic!!!!

We always receive great service. Food is good. It as exceptional tonight, that is what made me write. Portion seemed bigger and chicken was really crispy under sauce. We used to go down 14 mile for Chinese food, we haven't been back since trying Far East.

Tried for the first time today. Sometimes Chinese food can be hit or miss. This place is definitely a hit. General tso chicken combination was great! Crispy chicken with a great sauce. Fried rice and egg roll was also really good. A lot of food for the money as well. May have found my new favorite place!

Literally the best in the area. I come here often.

EDIT: I’m updating this review, originally posted 3 years ago.. Still the best. Not to mention they are THE ONLY place I’ve found where the sauce on the chicken reheats well. It doesn’t get that odd texture the next day like pretty much everywhere else. Top tier!

Go to carryout. Staff is super friendly, food is great (not too saucy), our to go bag is always well packed, I am never worried about losing our dinner walking to the car.
