Ace Hardware of Clarkston

I shop at Ace on Dixie and Maybe in Clarkston because I am always greeted with a sincere associate wanting to help me.
I have bought several Ego products because of the knowledge and enthusiasm that their employees or associates gave me.
My most recent purchase was a thistle bird feeder which has a much smaller opening that could also be used for regular black oilers and larger seeds by adjusting the openings where the birds sit on the perch and feed. There were also many different seed varieties to chose. I was given excellent advice as to how many times I would be able to fill the feeder with the selection of seed suggested.
I always walk out of that store satisfied.
The Customer Service and Interactions I receive as well as the products Ace carries ,make me look forward to my next trip in. Love the Ace Rewards too.... and the lemon drops!!!!

This ACE hardware is well organized, neat and has a great selection. We probably run into the store at least once a week for something. Prices competitive. Only downside is they are too friendly and too helpful. In a recent store visit I was asked if I need help finding something 9 times in under 5 mins. Sometimes people like to just wander around and see if anything catches their eye. This results in impulse purchases. If I’m browsing BBQ spices and get asked 6 times if I need help, I am more likely to stop looking and leave the store. Sometimes I like t ok chat with my husband admiring the pizza ovens. We get interrupted during our visits every time. You have a greeter pounce on customers as soon as they walk in. We see your sales people wandering in every aisle. Just let customers browse. If we need help, we can find one of a dozen of you lurking.

This is the best Ace in town. I go out of my way to travel to this Ace over the others. At one point there was an issue with a service they provide. The GM Chris went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of. Thank you very much!

My fob for my car was not working and I need to get in my trunk to get my walker out and in. Someone told me to go to ACE. From the moment I entered the store they were eager to help me. Directing me where to go and by the time I got there three ladies were helping me. I did not get the name of the lady who helped me but she had long hair. She changed the battery in my fob and went outside to make sure it worked. The fob was not workable. She had a replacement available and programmed it and made sure everything worked. After I paid for my purchase she walked me to my car and loaded my Walker into my trunk and made sure I was all set to go. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely be using this store again.

This ACE hardware is so amazing. The staff is extremely knowledge and pleasant. They always help me find what I’m looking for. I am rarely in the store for more than 5 minutes, which is such a blessing when I’m on a mission to get a project done!!

This place has great service and I go here every time I need assistance with finding items for home renovation projects. They are always willing to help.

Went there today for a vacuum belt and the help was phenomenal. I appreciate the nice lady at the register today. Very helpful to me. Vacuum Vomit no more lol haha thank you for helping me find the belt.

Amazing customer service. Every single employee including the managers are nice, helpful and always ready to answer a question. Very clean store! They provide engraving service too.I looked at their products and it is professionally done. Bravo!

Rick was able to help us out in a pinch on a holiday. He spent the time to look at our project that was missing a specialty piece, and he helped us rig together something that worked when we had lost all hope.

Great store and great store colleagues, recently purchased and took delivery of a Big Green Egg from the store. Kel did an excellent job answering my questions and walking through the entire process as well as offering candid feedback when asking for his "personal" insight. On a side note, I was in on a Sunday prior looking around and asking questions with another store colleague Wyatt and he was doing a great job and then he paused to say, "you know I'm not sure about some of the questions, but if you are able to come back in during the week when Kel is in I'm sure he will answer them all as he is our resident BBQ guru here at the store". I totally understood what he meant by that.... aka why risk loosing a sale/customer if you weren't sure and that is excellent customer service by Wyatt in my book. Even though he wasn't an "expert" he was honest. That is what you will find at this ACE of Clarkston store. Great items and honest store colleagues who will go out of their way to help you find what you need and even let you know that you may not need that, lol. Thanks Jason H

I have always had good experiences when I go to my local Ace. Last week, however I had exceptional service that I had to stop and say something!

I was in a pinch with a project and needed something that evening, something no one had. I called Ace and got Jackson, Jackson went above and beyond to try to help me! This is a newer product, he could have just said no, sorry I don't think we have that. But he didn't. He looked it up in his system, he asked other employees, he Googled it and went to several places in the store just to check if they had a version with a different name. I was so very impressed with the help I received from Jackson that I'm still thinking about it, a week later! Wonderful customer service Ace, thank you and thanks again Jackson!!!!

This is a great locally owned Hardware. If they don't have it they can get it, and will! I have special ordered from them several times. Well staffed and well stocked.

April 2021. I just received my new trash can. I ordered it online and the Hardware Elves delivered it one day after the store received it. No extra charge! What a wonderful service.

Very helpful staff. I really like the home goods area, kind of over by the cashiers - they have the cutest decor there & the best smelling Swan Creek Candles. I love that they allow well behaved dogs to come into the store too!
