Mui's Chinese Food Carry Out

I was craving Chinese food for dinner tonight and decided to check this place out. I frequented the chicken shack and was always curious about this place.
It looks like a hole-in-the-wall place, which in the past has been delicious finds for me.

I went with the number 5 sweet and sour chicken with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. When I got home and started opening up my carry out and at first, I thought they forgot the sauce and was about to get upset but realized that they put it on the chicken. It was the right amount. It was the fantastic sweet, and sour chicken was delicious 😋. The egg roll was delicious as well.

The lady who rang me up when I was picking up my carryout was super nice. This is a great place to get take out.

Love this place. Family run and friendly. Food is delicious. Egg rolls and plum sauce are the best around. Love the Almond chicken, and their Thai noodles.

This is one of the best chinese restraunts around the food, which is always fresh, fast and accurate. The only thing I hate is they are closed Mondays haha 😄

This place has the best chicken pad thai of all time. Also they have reall6 good egg rolls and rice.

Good quality and quantity. Ordered the beef and broccoli and was pleasantly surprised to have fresh broccoli. Asked for it to be extra spicy and they delivered. 5/5 would eat again

Always clean. Food always taste hot and pretty fresh. We’ve been going here for years. My husband and I got married almost 20 years ago and we’ve only tried a couple other places during this time and we always end up back here.Nothing more comforting, then Chinese food takeout night

Biggest and freshest Rangoon, I have ever had! Atmosphere was friendly and the food is absolutely worth driving from a half hour away just to get!

Mui's is the only Chinese food place within 20 miles from us that we like. The portions of the dinners are enough to eat on 2-3 times, the employees are kind & extremely polite, the wait time is always minimal. I highly recommend the General Tsaos, the Almond Boneless Chicken & the Chinese Fried shrimp. It's all heavenly. The gravy isn't greasy or gross lumpy & the egg rolls actually have flavor, & The fried rice is never bland. All around, this place is perfect. Never had a bad experience in 4 years going here, a few times each month.

I ordered takeout by phone at around 11:30 AM and was told the wait would only be ten minutes. When I arrived ten minutes later, my food was perfectly done, being put into the takeout box as I walked in. My egg roll was okay, the sprouts had a different texture than I prefer but not an unexpected texture for sprouts at all. The entree I had was cheap ($7.25, I think?), delicious, and still hot by the time I brought my food back to my work. Way better than I was expecting from a takeout-only place. I will be returning here.

Almond boneless chicken was great and definitely made me miss Kim's a little less😍 also the sweet and sour chicken is bombbbbbb. However, ordering over the phone seemed to have a major mixup it would've been nice to get a detailed item receipt to see what made it so expensive. Other than that food was great!

Quick and easy Chinese food. My chicken tasted amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly.

I've been coming to this restaurant for well over 5 years. I've never had a dissatisfying experience to date. The food is always cooked to order, and they always accommodate special requests. I would say one thing, I tend to order my sauce ON THE SIDE so that my food Isn't soggy when I get it. Thinking ahead on my part helps ensure I'm satisfied rather than write a bad review for what I ordered.

First time ordering here, myself and the lady couldn't have been happier!

Very generous portions - definitely didn't need to order as much as we did. I got the sesame chicken and she got shrimp fried rice. Both containers were so stuffed they were about to break.

This was my first time trying this place and I absolutely fell I love with it!!! Peppered steak is really good and their egg rolls. If you live in this area or near it I recommend it. So happy I stopped in plus it’s a clean environment as well.

Just moved to Royal Oak and first time trying. Best almond boneless I’ve ever had. My boyfriend enjoyed the general tso. Spring rolls were FIRE 🔥

My family has been going here for our Chinese for years ever since i was little! this is by far the best place. They give you a lot of food for a good price, flavors are perfect! no other Chinese restaurant can compare to this place. my favorite is combination number 1. almond chicken. the workers are so friendly. they never mess up orders and the service is fast and food is still hot when i get home!

One of the best Chinese takeout places I've ever had highly recommended. Amazing food any and all dishes and friendly staff. Very good setup during the shutdown safe pickup window very impressed give them a try you won't be disappointed.
