The Hideout

I moved to the area a couple years ago and decided to eat there a couple times because of the convenience. I have to say, I've never had a bad meal here and I've been back several times since. It's definitely a step up from normal bar food

Haven't been here in years mostly because of the smell and mediocre service however went here after work recently and was pleasantly surprised! It no longer smells like spilled alcohol and stale cigarettes. Also the server we had was very attentive and nice. The bartender also was courteous by asking if the music was too loud as she was adjusting it. I've never encountered that before and quite honestly it should be more often in other establishments!
The food was good. Deep fried food didn't taste like old grease & my friend's gyro was HUGE (and she said it was good).
Happy to say we'll be back. Much better atmosphere there now than in the past for sure.

This is a cute, local neighborhood pub with great food and wait staff! I find the main dining room could tone down the lights a bit but other than that, it's a great little spot. Didn't get to sit in the front room due to a private party but that looks like the place to be.

The place is great. Prompt friendly wait staff. Really good food. Friendly atmosphere.

Best dive bar in the Troy / Clawson area hands down. Wait staff is so friendly and personable. The owner is phenomenal and doubles as the chef some nights, which are coincidentally the best nights to grab a Reuben sandwich!

Went for lunch, got Cheeseburgers and Fries with a Drink for around $10.00! Took less than 10 minutes after ordering to get our food! Great service burgers were great!

I didn't get food so why I didn't rate it, but overall a fun bar, nice staff.

This bar is pretty cool, has a pool table in it and they play some good music here. The food is reasonably priced and the crowd is pretty fun. I would definitely recommend trying it out.

The food is awesome. My friend got the deep fried mushrooms. They were hand battered. Not frozen. And the best? Tater tots on the menu! The wait staff is always friendly and fun too. We even had a tribute to Matthew Perry, who sadly passed away yesterday. Lots of drink specials and friendly clientele. Food prices and quality are more than reasonable!

Didn’t try any food (looked good) just accompanied friends. Seems like a nice chill place to hang out!

Came in with one other person on a Thursday night and the server was extremely kind and attentive. Truly a sports bar as advertised with lots of TVs and good lighting. Very reasonable prices as well!

Best fish n chips and Reuben in town. They are clean, fresh n crispy everytime. It also doesn't make me sick like The Renshaw.

We were here from Ohio for the Woodward Dream Cruise and wanted a place to eat. The restaurant was a short drive from our hotel. There was 11 in our group and once we ordered our food it arrived quickly and everything was excellent. No one had an issue with anything so we plan on going back! Our waitress JJ was great. Thanks!

I haven't been here in decades. Stopped in on a whim and was exceptionally surprised at how great the food was! It was delicious, and I will be back sooner than last time. My only complaint was that their Diet Coke was pretty bad, I ended up with a beer.

Very nice place, clean, friendly staff and excellent burgers. Definitely would recommend going there and try the burgers.

They have an incredible $10 lunch special that I don't think can be beat.

Fantastic service! We came in around 10pm and ordered chicken tenders. When they came out I had to do a double take. They were hand breaded and delicious. The bartender told us they ran out of the frozen ones so the chef made those instead.

Great place to hang out and enjoy some great food. Very friendly service. Very diverse clientele AND it's within walking distance. I'll have to check out Karaoke on Tuesday!

Everything about this place is 5 stars. When someone asks me where to eat I tell them The Hideout. If you love great staff, delicious food and an amazing atmosphere come to The Hideout.
