Aqua Aire Inn & Suites

Wish I’d taken a photo to show how really great looking this motel really is! I loved the set up! We specifically booked Aqua Aire months in advance for Minocquas Beef-O-Rama event. It really is the perfect spot ! Didn’t have to worry about parking or driving in long lines of traffic, walking distance to everything across from Torphy Park. Nice bright lighting, really clean, staff was super friendly! Check in was 2pm and check out was 11am. Will definitely be booking here again for our next trip !

This motel is updated to a very modern vibe. Very nice. Yes, the rooms are small but the space is creatively utilized and you get all the essentials. Price is fair. Highly recommend.

Fabulous newly remodeled motel! Rooms were very clean, bedsnsoft and comfortable, easy walk to town. Very pleased and highly recommend. ❤

Room was clean, modern and minimalist. Very cozy. Bed and pillows were comfortable (bed is a low platform style bed- which was fine for us, but may be hard for someone that has trouble getting down +/or up). You park right at the door of your room. Owner had the room warmed up for us when we arrived, so appreciated with the ice storm we were in. He was very personable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Very nice room, especially for price.

Very good motel cozy and nestled in heart of Minoqua waking distance to the dowbtown. Good stay , room checks of all your lodging needs before heading for snowmobile or venture to Ski Resorts . Good Price ,Clean and Comfy . Would definitely stay again .

Charming little motel on Lake Minocqua that is a great low-cost option. Super clean rooms with a rustic feel that is appropriate for the area. Features a microwave, mini-fridge, flat-screen TV with a ton of channels, comfy bed with fresh sheets and good pillows, and a quiet heating/cooling unit. Only downsides are, no breakfast (except coffee) and bathroom offers shower only in a small stall (not a concern unless you only take baths or can't stand confined spaces); otherwise, the bathroom is just fine. A great option if you're looking to save a few bucks.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Cottage. It was wonderful. James has thought of everything. It is a two bedroom cottage with 1 1/2 baths and a full kitchen. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Everything is brand new and upgraded quality. Very nice. We will be staying there again.

Do not be discouraged to stay here because it says "motel". The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. Great walking distance from town, the lake, and the park. The only minor problem was that the shower heads were a little weird and I wish there was a bigger mirror outside of the bathroom. I would recommend this place to anyone and the rates are fantastic. Definitely will be staying here again.

Great place to stay, the rooms aren't anything spectacular but it is clean and modernized. The view out the front window is awesome in fall! It's also close to everything. Definitely will stay here again!

Cozy comfortable room at good price. Doesn’t have the amenities of higher priced hotels, but many of us just want a clean room and a comfortable bed. This motel provides that. I’ll be staying there the next time I’m in Minocqua.

We rented the Aqua Aire cottage for the July 4 week. Cottage has been fully renovated and is clean, super cute, and has a fully stocked kitchen. Walking distance to downtown and grocery store, and a great city park and beach is across the street. The property owner was very nice and was available whenever we needed him. We had a wonderful vacation!

Awesome motel right in the middle of everything in Minocqua. The hotel has been remodeled very nicely. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms were great. Absolute hidden gem and a great value. The owner Jim was great and very knowledgeable of the area. He’s also got a snowmobile trail off the back of his property running directly to the lake so if you are a snowmobiler, this place is exactly what you’re looking for.
Two thumbs up for the Aqua Aire, I cant speak highly enough about my 4 night stay there and will definitively be a return customer.

Really neat place. An old school motel with updated decor — still bits of kitschy goodness that make it feel genuinely cared for. CLEAN, super comfortable (not too soft) bed and sumptuous pillows and bedding. Yes, the rooms are small, it is a motel. But the space is optimized, and doesn’t feel cramped. There’s room for everything you need. The bathroom has an optimally functional layout and cool design touches - like the “old pipe” towel bar etc fixtures. If I laid out this room back in Space Planning course, it would’ve ‘rendered’ an A for sure. (Couldn’t resist the pun ;) And the hot water is really hot! Sooo hot!!
Sorry I didn’t think to take photos. I was a light year past exhausted when I got there. Am refreshed and leaving a review! I don’t generally leave reviews. But this place is worth it. Great place, great value, great service, location and comfort. So YES, a 5 star MOTEL!
SO happy I stopped and found this place. Owner?/desk clerk was really accommodating and just kind. I really appreciate kindness in any kind of service business — seems to no longer be a given, so it’s wonderful to get, especially when it’s sincere and effortlessly. I hope that guy is the owner and wish him great success!

Very nicely remodeled hotel. The rooms are not huge, but hey, you're in Minocqua - it's about hitting the town and seeing the sights. The beds are comfy, shower is nice and the price is right. The owner is on-site and very friendly and accommodating.
We'll be returning.

Rooms was very clean. Beds was nice and comfortable. Direct access to snowmobile trails. Owner Jim was very helpful and pleasant to talk with he new the trails in the area well. Will stay here again on my next snowmobile trip.

What a delightful place! The decor is simple and elegant. Everything was immaculately clean. Microwave, mini fridge, wifi, tv, in a great location with easy access to the Minocqua area. Service was friendly and prompt. And they allow dogs! I'll definitely be back.

We stayed here in 2017 for the Ice Cold Beer Fest. The price was great, and it was located within walking distance to Minocqua Brewing Company. Clean and modern room, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

I have to say that Jim the owner will do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable! We were up for MLK weekend Snowmobiling with my dad, my son and his 2 roommates from Iowa State and the first hour, one of the sleds broke. So we ended up riding double for the day and called all over looking for parts or trying to rent another sled. But nothing was available. Jim went above and beyond to help us get the sled back together.
Talk about making a difference! Jim went out of his way making our stay perfect and memorable weekend . The rooms are recently updated and the beds are very comfortable and affordability priced. We have stayed at Aqua Aire many times in the past and will continue to be #1 on our list to call when we go up north Snowmobiling.

Very nice stay in a clean room. Loved the shower and comfortable bed, and Wi-Fi was a plus. The owner was very accommodating. A coffee maker was what I missed the most, but we will stay here again.

Convenient location with clean, nicely updated rooms. Owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Right off the snowmobile trail and directly across the street from the park. We will most definitely be back.
