Brent (or Brett?) came out to troubleshoot an unusual electrical issue at my house. After numerous attempts to identify the cause, he simply stated that it was something he would not be able to resolve. However, after he left the house, he was in his truck in front when he noticed a contractor pulling up to work on an electrical box at the end of my block. He could've left and called it a day, but he took the time to get out of his truck and speak with that contractor and ended up successfully identifying the cause of the issue. It was clear he was not comfortable leaving without a resolution and he persevered until he found it. That kind of effort is greatly appreciated.

Had a wonderful experience with Keegan. I so appreciate when a contractor shows up on time for the appointment! He was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. Gave us lots of good options for what we needed done and also researched our awful IKEA light we were having issues with. Took the extra time to fix a few things we wanted done even though the appointment was just for a walk through estimate. Highly recommend Keegan and a company that hires good people like him!

We recently purchased a home from Allen Edwin. The home was already built and we did not select anything in it, during our new home walkthrough, the Allen rep suggested reaching out to Consolidated. We own an EV and need a 240v outlet installed in the garage. They said since the garage isn’t finished, give them a call and they will take good care of you. I first contacted the 1-877 number at 2:53pm on March 11th. I explained everything to the receptionist, including that I am also interested in a possible panel upgrade but I NEED the 240v regardless. She says they can help and gives me a cell phone number to a gentleman whom I’m directed to call. LM on 3/11 with contact. Received call from gentleman, I explained everything. He told me he was very busy and they are all so very busy. He said it would take him a few days and would get back to me because he needed to check on panel prices. Ok great.
I never hear anything. I start leaving messages on 3/25, 3/28, 4/2. On 4/9 I called the 1-877 number and explained what I needed and that no one was returning my calls. They told me they would get back to me by end of day. No one called. Then on 4/11 I get a call from the gentleman whom I spoke to the month prior and explained everything all over again. I offered to measure. I offered to send pictures, anything to help. He said no, he would contact me and be out next week for sure. I stressed that we really need the 240v for charging and are desperate.

Guess what. That week has now passed and I have heard nothing. Monday makes 6 full weeks of begging them to take my money.
I’m done. Furthermore, I have contacted my builder about my experience with their preferred vendor and made sure it’s known they should choose someone more reputable.

We had someone come out twice to give us an idea of what we would pay for what we needed to have done. When it came time to get a formal estimate, we were told it would come back in a couple of days. After multiple promises of “you’ll have it by midnight tomorrow” I told the guy to not bother (since he probably hadn’t even the slightest anyway) and that we would look for another company.

Unprofessional and unreliable.

I'm sure the owner would be elated to know one of their employees was driving in a company truck down 496 swerving in and out of traffic, giving the middle finger and cussing out the cars that he's passing. Great representation of the company. Not! I know who WON'T be doing electrical work for me when I need it!
