Root Cafe - Fennville

Delicious food. Pleasant surroundings. I loved my lemon thyme chicken panini. The cheesy mushroom panini was good too. Good cappuccino.

This place is amazing. I had the Mongolian pulled pork sandwich and was thoroughly impressed. Their cocktails are quite good as well. Will definitely return.

Super good and a really fun spot where you can buy a lot of custom pottery. I thought the prices were fine. They have benigets which is awesome! Breakfast crepes were also awesome.

This was a wonderful unique lunch. We stopped in to try their samosas, however my favorite was their earth bowl! My husband had pho soup, pork Cuban panini and bigness. We picked a table surrounded by art, it was really a nice fun atmosphere. Fresh lemonade, too!

EXCELLENT place. Very unique with eclectic food selection. Lots of Asian influences, but have traditional dishes also. On the Saturday evening we visited they had live piano music.

Super cute space! Nestled in the art shop, this quaint eatery knocks the food out of the park! The Mongolian pulled pork or the hippie hash are my go-tos. The staff is kind and helpful. Truly my favorite off the beaten path space

A beautiful little “nook” located in downtown Fenville. We decided to have lunch here after a neighbors suggestion regarding this place — she was absolutely correct! The food was DELICIOUS! The bimbipab salad was executed perfectly which is a rare thing! Next time we visit Saugatuk we will definitely hop over to this place for a bite to eat!

Very good food. My wife got the Hippie Hash with tempeh with Russian sauce and I got the same just with corned beef. Our friend got a turkey panini. We all were floored with the delicious food, cozy ambiance, and friendly staff. If you are considering stopping by for something to eat or to shop from their wide selection of handmade trinkets, I would strongly recommend it!!

I absolutely LOVE this place and stop by every time I’m in the area. The food is delicious, made fresh, creative and with lots of healthy and veggie options. The menu is extensive for such a small place and the drinks menu is impressive. Also, the adjacent gallery features some of the finest crafts people in the area. A must see. Always a treat!

Peanut Thai noodles and bibimbap were delicious, the tempeh was DELICIOUS and I am usually not a big fan of tempeh. Everyone working was super friendly and the shop is very adorable. Lots of great art to browse too.

Found this quaint little place on a drive through Fennville in search of coffee and lunch. We were absolutely shocked by the experience. They brew exceptional coffee, boast a broad array of delicious menu items - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - and their art gallery / display is a captivating view while you wait for your food (which, might I mention, is served quickly).

This may be one of my new favorite restaurants in all of West Michigan; definitely coming back soon!

Killer London Fog with coconut milk. I wanted to eat the whole menu. The brisket hippie hash was fabulous!

Really good food with a charming atmosphere. Has a cute gift shop attached that features local artists' wares. Would have loved to been there when someone was oozing the pottery wheel but still a great experience.

A serendipitous find a mere 6 miles from Saugatuck, this charming place offers a large and creative menu including breakfast all day. I’m vegan and there’s plenty to choose from; I enjoyed the rice noodle and veggie salad and a samosa starter (hold the cherry raita dip). The place is order at the counter and they bring you your selections. It’s also infused with beautiful local art that includes jewelry, paintings, and pottery. This was the highlight of my visit to the Saugatuck Douglas area.

Amazing place! Every detail is lovingly thought of. Tried multiple dishes which were all delicious and enjoyed all the art. Had to come back the next day for more!

This was my first visit to Root in Fennville, Michigan. Great Place! The food was EXCELLENT! I loved the atmosphere. Seating is nestled among all kinds of artwork and pottery and assorted brick-a-brack. You can dine and shop at the same time. My kind of place. I already sent the website link to all my friends.

Orders are taken at the counter, then the server brings it to your table. The atmosphere is FILLED with pottery, handmade cards, glassware, paintings, gift items, packaged food for purchase & MORE. The food is fresh & healthy choices. Indoor & outdoor dining.

My husband and I came here for the first time on a Sunday. We enjoyed walking around to look at all of the artwork while we waited for our drinks and food. We had delicious breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed a cozy atmosphere while getting some work done. We'll be back!

Great Great crafted drinks with shopping treasures at the same time. Hope to eat next time.
