Arcadia - Portland, Me

This place is awesome, there’s lots of arcade games some new stuff and some old either on the first floor or in the basement. The interior design and decor is pretty sick, the atmosphere is vibrant. You can hangout at the bar, food court or on the floor watching teams play Mario kart. Will definitely be back for some more fun and games!!! Love it here!!!

Damn this place is always improving! TOTAL NOSTALGIA! Everyone is so nice there!!!
If I have one concern it’s that people never look up, and except me. I think the ceiling need to be dusted went June 2nd 2024. Other than that fricken cool. It’s like a hidden gem. And if you see a show down the street the bands usually chill there! Great drinks and the food is like great hotdogs and ice cream and pop tarts and free water. Vending for quarters. I can’t beat frogger and guitar hero is there as well. Tons of pinball machines and that’s cool but it’s really an unfair game you can’t stop the ball from getting in the small space between the flappers lolol Lots of love!! P.S GET DDR !!

Stumbled upon this place while we were waiting for a table for dinner. Got some beers and then went into the back to play games.

We only spend 7 dollars for tokens but had an absolute blast. my one con was that there were just way too many pinball tables vs other things.

The one HUGE PRO was that they had a big projector set up and you could play mario kart. That was super fun.

Really cute concept and love that we got enough tickets for a prize at the end (dice, lol)

What a great find. The Staff is totally amazing and so very helpful. Great drinks and game selection. The music and atmosphere is perfect. I am totally amazed that all arcade games are in working condition.

I've played a lot of pinball and arcade games in my life and Arcadia is awesome. So many amazing (expensive) games and they're well maintained and play well. And the pizza was delicious, too. It was worth flying to Maine just to play/eat/drink here!

Great cocktails and so many games to play. there are two floors and plenty to discover. Love that there are no kids. Tried the Coconut Cloud and the Neon Forest

Extremely pleasant and inviting. Unparalleled service, two steps above service on drinks, and food staff was inviting, accommodating, and warm. Excellent staff. 9/30/23 - What a nice place. I loved the atmosphere. Majority of games are 25 cents. I came to visit from VA and we stopped here a few nights while staying in Maine. I loved the decor of the place and lots of games to play. Would love to visit again if we get the chance.

A gem among arcade bars, impressively well-kept and clean. The surprise of free pinball on Wednesdays added an extra layer of fun to our visit. While I wouldn’t choose Arcadia as a dinner spot, their menu offers a little something to satisfy most taste buds.

Their selection of cocktails and mocktails is delightful, making it a great place to enjoy a drink while gaming. Situated on prime real estate on Congress, Arcadia is a must visit for anyone looking to blend gaming with a great atmosphere.

Super friendly bartenders and staff. Many vintage arcade and pinball machines to choose from. Great place to spend a few hours in the evening!

My wife and I had so much fun here! Tons of pinball machines, retro and new arcade games, ski ball, and more! With a full bar and some food options, this is a great place to have drinks with friends, take a first date, or just hang out and socialize

Went to a friend's surprise 40th bday & had a great time. Nearly every machine was operational, staff was pleasant both at the door & bar.

Thoughtful touches throughout like a self serve water station so you dont have to wait at the bar just to get water, $2 coat room, even a few gaming consoles setup to projectors that I think were free to hop on (I didn't want to wait for a turn, it was Saturday & the place was packed). Also REALLY liked that the arcade games use actual quarters instead of tokens.

Wife who isnt a drinker really appreciated the mocktail menu, which had some really nice options. I didnt get any food there myself but was happy to see a vegan blt option. One of our friends got a "homemade poptart" that she said was amazing.

For a bar the venue is pretty clean, including the bathrooms.

I had fun! Would definitely go back, & recommend to friends.

The new Arcadia is really cool in the old Port City Music Hall. The cocktail and beer menus are astounding. The games are fun, the vibes are chill, but this place should get 1 star for the NBA Jam machine being broken.

Props to the decor and all the hard work that's gone into this new location.

Literally my favorite place to go in Portland. I always make it a point to stop here. And the orange juice they use for drinks is fresh pressed and ridiculously good. 10/10 love this place and so happy they were able to expand after COVID

It’s always a chill atmosphere with pinball, retro video games, console games, skee ball, etc. the drinks are tasty and the food is surprisingly good. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a more laid back kind of place.

Great drink spot and the variety of of video games is terrific. Fantastic date night if you want to keep it fun and casual. The place is deceptively huge once you go downstairs. Fun atmosphere for groups.

The place looks amazing. Amazing service. Shockingly fast considering there was about 50 people or so in there mobbing the bar. A dear friend of mine passed away and Arcadia was his favorite bar and they were kind enough to open an hour early so we could drink in his honor after his remembrance.

Fun place to go if you want to play games or just hang. Great atmosphere and several free games as well as paid. Food options available and have a great trivia night .
