Purchased through ABE books and a perfect transaction. Promptly shipped, well packed and perfectly described as new condition. I'd buy books from these folks anyday.

Would give 10 stars if I could. After reading a few of the negative reviews I was really reluctant to order from Lakeside books. But, they had the set of books I wanted for a good price so I decided to give it a try. I'm SO SO GLAD I did. I couldn't have had a more positive experience. My books came earlier than I expected (nice surprise), they were in beautiful condition and the communication I had with them was always professional, polite and helpful. I will definitely be ordering from Lakeside again and I would recommend them highly.

Bought from them on Biblio and the delivery was running a little late. Some of the reviews on here were making me nervous so I reached out to the company and they responded promptly. Order came one business day after the max estimated time but that can be explained away by a slower than normal USPS. Not a huge deal. I would have liked a tracking number for the order, but with the low price and high quality of the book, I have little to complain about.

I would buy from them again. They've got some good deals on new copies of mass markets on Biblio.

Book store is very easy to do business with great prices and communication. They answered all of my questions when I called about my order. The only minor issue is I never received the email when my audio books were shipped with a tracking number. However; they were received in the specified time as promised by Lakeside Books.

Book order was filled and received it in 4 days. I was a kid in Watervliet who knows the store. It's nice to be serviced all the way down in Houston Texas. Thanks Lakeside, we will meet again

Quaint little place, excellent prices for books and a good selection of children's materials. They are a little off the beaten path and main roads, but definitely worth checking out if you like books or need a specific book but don't want to order online.

They also have reading lights and bookmarks that are solid and again great prices.

Very quant off the road bookstore with amazing prices. They will also buy back books, especially college books. If there's a book you need, they can order it in. Very friendly service as well with a great variety. Great place for Christmas and birthday ideas!

My avid reader of a son walked in and within 5 minutes found all 4 of a series he was interested in reading. The prices were great and the staff was super friendly.

I ordered the full set of the Little House books, and I was so happy with the quality of the way the books were wrapped up and packaged for shipping. They arrived - all nine of them - in absolutely perfect condition. I'm so happy!
