Northwoods Community Church

I have not been to your location. What was glancing through the reviews to see what sort of opportunities might be available. You had an individual named Adam Regguinti, that attended and left a review about your staff. First I want to say congratulations on your staff for doing what had to be extremely awkward and in a reasonably quiet manner, in dealing with this gentleman and his family. Our society is just grown to the point of not having any self-awareness this gentleman has indicated that he was sitting in a family and children's section. Well, that doesn't give carte blanche to having his two children, if they were having a bad day, the opportunity to disrupt everyone else's enjoyment of the program or the service. Your staff offered the family the opportunity to go out into the corridor, to watch the program from the outer corridor on a monitor. Why does that end up being, to use his words, the old lady and the Middle East gentleman's fault for encouraging them to leave and take their kids out of theservice? It doesn't! It just means that our pathetic society feels as though they don't have to do anything to conform with reasonable societal norms when it comes to either their behavior or in this case the behavior of their small children. I'm a father! I have raised two sons and I never!, would have allowed them to stay in our church services if they were having a bad day. Bringing children into the main body of the sanctuary for an extended time of sitting or trying to maintain being quiet, it's just not a reasonable experience for most kids under the age of 7. Why not make it easier on everybody and just either not go to the main service, not go with your small children, taking your small children to the nursery or children's church or if they're having a bad day simply guidelines, the most churches in here too, and not make usher's out to be the bad guys, and simply just get up and leave if your kids are having a bad time! Congratulations to the ushers. A job well done.

I lived in Peoria for almost a decade, and Northwoods was a church that I often visited. For worship, for performances, for Christian comedy, for rehearsals, community events and more. I'm thankful for what God continues to do at Northwoods.

My wife & I have attending Northwoods for over 8 years and we feel it's just getting better & better. We usually go on Saturday night, it just fits our schedule better. Last night the worship team was great, as usual & Cal's message was awesome. My wife & I feel he has always been a super speaker & pastor, but as he ages he is more humble & connects with his audience now more than ever before. As I sat there last night drinking it all in, I just prayed that everyone I know could be there to share that beautiful moment, experiencing our heavenly father's love (our heavenly daddy's love) & be blessed. They minister to my heart!

Great Bible teaching church that balances the power of the Spirit and the Word together! Worship is powerful too. Great place to encounter the presence of God!

Uplifting life changing messages! Music is outstanding! Much kindness and smiling faces :-) Tons of opportunity for growth and friendships in classes for every area of your life, small groups and also has great kid programs! Oh and Coffee bar is a nice bonus!! :-)

We really appreciated Nathans message yesterday and his outline on facts, faith and feelings. But the most important thing to me was the communion service. I have never been to a communion service like the one he shared with us. All I can say is it was a very annointed service, the way he explained its meaning and purpose. It was powerful. We wish many people could have experienced it. Praise God. I hope we can get a DVD of the service.

This church is full of friendly, caring people who love God and serve others. Pastor Cal's messages are outstanding. They are practical but have incredible depth and insight. Pastor Cal is truly interested in helping people grow in their understanding of God and their relationship with Him.

There's lots for all ages to do. For younger kids, they have activities and reflection time, where they can have fun while learning about God. Older kids can volunteer and help the others learn. The people here are so nice and really care.

This is a wonderful church.
The website, however, is very difficult to navigate through. There is such a massive amount of information, and if you do not know everything to go through, it has been almost impossible to even find the current service.

It's a great Church. They teach on Word and Spirit. Through all their ministries, they make a great positive impact both locally and internationally. They also have fantastic childcare during services.

We love our church and church family! We've been attending for 2.5 years and love the church, ministries, leadership, and the friends we've made!

This is my home church. The place I was baptized and where I continue to go to encourage and be encouraged by other followers in Christ. I am also involved in the Re:gen program, which is a Christ focused and biblically based 12 step program.

Nice place, nice Christmas show. They put alot of work into this. Thank you. But be aware , this is a mega church... I'm sure they want you to join and your $$$.

Always a great atmosphere and praise. Well planned and executed services and genuine worship. Unfortunately there for funeral services, which they are gracious hosts.

We attended the Christmas program here and it was extremely professional. All the performers were awesome. I and my family enjoyed it immensely.

It's a great church, they do a very good job taking care of their members. If your looking to find the love and forgiveness of Jesus this is the place to go.

Great sermons with relative topics to today's world. The church is very large however it seems intimate and friendly to the family a great place for worship!
