Memorial Care on Koke Mill

I'm not sure why so many others seem to have issues with Koke Mill, but I've always found the receptionists, nurses, staff, and physicians to be kind, knowledgeable, and accomadating. I've been going here to see my primary for most of my life and don't recall ever having a negative interaction. Sometimes you wait a bit long, but there are others seeking medical attention, too. My family and myself will continue coming here because we trust and appreciate the people working at Koke Mill because, at this point, they feel like family.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. My kids saw Dr. Dolan just 2 weeks ago, before that we have seen NP Kroeger. Both are excellent. The front desk staff are always great, never had any issues with scheduling or employees in the almost 14 years I have been bringing my kids here.

I'm actually really shocked at the negative reviews. All the staff have always been very nice and professional. Some of these reviews are knit picking at it's best, you can't make everyone happy I guess. I have Dr. Carmella, he always listens, doesn't rush and has alot of knowledge. I also like his nurse practioner although I can't remember her name. They did have some phone issues that were beyond their control. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Professionally perfect and Kingly Golden people work here. My primary doctor is Dr. Michael V. Comerford, M.D I love him as our family doctor. Twenty plus years with this wonderful man. We had to find a family doctor about 21. years ago.that we started going to Dr. Comerford. Kenneth Charles Jenner II is my third child with my husband John Jenner. Kenny has autism. He was diagnosed in 1993 at St. John's Children's Pavilion off of North 9th Street in Springfield, Illinois USA. Dr. Joost M.D., a renown expert in the field of everything AUTISM in the United States, diagnosed him with that ghastly moniker. Poor Kenny! Poor us!! How to deal with this?? We had absolutely NO freaking idea if we could even meet our new and current challenges. God help us!! More to this story... ((××::

Therapists are great. Appts run on time. Attentive & friendly. CDC guidelines follows in facility waiting area & during treatment.

Clean, friendly, easy to find offices, pharmacy and lab on site. Some xrays done on site. Providers board certified, cpetent.

Blood draw was painless.

Beware Mr. Shams. A "doctor" who will not prescribe certain medications because they don't like those medications or don't agree with their use is not a doctor. In this case, we have birth control.
I have endometriosis and suffer from horrific menstrual pain, bleeding, and depression. I take Junel solely for that purpose.
Mister Shams is not willing to use all the tools in the arsenal of a real physician. Therefore, he is an amateur. Does anyone really want an amateur for a doctor? Beware. Dr Ellison, his PA, and the rest of the staff were all right, though.

It’s like so hard for me to get me prescription. Had to call back three times then hung up on the third. Like I just want my medicine😂

Started out good with my daughter and I as patients. Then everything went south. First instance, brought my daughter in because she was extremely sick (fever, cough, lethargy, puking) and the doctor said it was a viral infection and to wait a few days. Bring her back in the following day because she had a constant fever over 102. Turns out it was bacterial tonsillitis and it could've killed her. My daughter has had bad pains in her legs since 4, she's now almost 11. We have had multiple appointments and the doctor keeps telling her it's growing pains. It took two years to get her into physical therapy. I had an allergist appointment, get there, told it was cancelled because the doctors office tried calling me but couldn't get a hold of me. They weren't even calling my phone number. I've begged for sleep meds because I don't sleep and they want to send me to different specialists instead of just prescribing something. Now I take around 80mg of melatonin a night plus another over the counter sleep med just to get a few hours. I had a severe rash before due to a medication the doctor put me on. She insisted I had fleas or bedbugs. Stopped taking the medication and rash went away but it took two months and I have scars from it. Care like this is why people don't go to doctors anymore and just suffer.

My daughter had an appointment with Dr. Sarah Lake, Suite 150. She was just a few minutes late and the folks made her reschedule a month out. Memorial Hospital and it's affiliated Urgent care locations are an absolute disgrace. It is bad enough to have had a terrible experience in Memorial's dumpy hospital, but this puts the icing on the cake. Our family will no longer give this provider our hard earned money. I will take the hit on insurance and go to St. Johns.

Called and waited on hold for 20 minutes. No matter when you call you always get "all operators are busy at this time " Seens like more operators are needed to cut this wait time down.

I have never wrote one review in my life, good or bad. But I feel like it would not be responsible to not do so in this case. I had an appointment scheduled 6/23/22 for some issues I was having. Even scheduling the appointment I knew it would be tough to have a good date for I am in the ag business and am very busy in certain times of the year. According to the receptionist on 6/23/22. I was 9 minutes late to the appointment. She stated that there is a 7 minute late rule that I could be turned down. I UNDERSTAND that, is what i said. But since there was NO ONE else in the doctors office waiting area. And by no one I mean NOT ONE PERSON! IN ONE SEAT the receptionist stated that it would probably be no problem since they were not busy at the time. After she called back to the nurse she stated that they they would not see me. I was shocked and so was the receptionist. I called back later that day and asked to speak to the manager. (Which I have also never done) I was informed there is no manager but they do have someone who handles complaints. I left that person a voicemail and never heard anything back. I rescheduled for 7/27/22 but did not show up for that. Due to my symptoms getting worse and I went to the emergency department 5-7 days later and received some help. Now on 8/11/22 I received a warning to be terminated of the physician-patient relationship as per policy letter if I missed another appointment. Please save your time and do your research. My doctor was awesome but this place is terrible. There is a reason kokemill is rated what they are on the internet. Attached is a photo of the letter.
