Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elgin, IL

Loved the hotel. Accessible to all we need that trip. Quiet enough that we could watch the Super Bowl in our room without external noise.

Free breakfast on weekends is served longer than at most hotels. It was well rounded. Nice to sleep in and still get breakfast.

One minor ding: If you aren't in an Accessible room, be warned. Toilets are very low. Hard to get up from if you have long legs or lower body mobility issues.

This is the original Country Inn & Suites layout. As soon as you walk in, you will see the familiarities. Our room was on the second floor and there is a stair to walk ups and downs for the convenience. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and the heating worked well.
Breakfast is standard, and the waffle was really good. The gentleman who worked in the cafeteria area kept the area clean and tightly. And there's a restaurant next door. Will stay again in the future.

I had to leave another review for this property because I have never experienced such stellar service at a hotel. I’ve never reviewed a business twice in one day but the service here is above what I’d expect. I used to work at the Wyndham NW Chicago when it was called that, so I know what I’m talking about. Rob at the front desk is extremely gracious and inviting, and another man at this company that deserves a raise. Whatever you are doing to attract such great employees is either dumb luck or divine providence. 10 stars again!

One of the best experiences Ive had staying in a hotel! Super clean, friendly staff, amazing breakfast. The manager Chris was really awesome and took care of our every need! We were served breakfast Thanksgiving morning by an amazing employee named Piper. Those two made our stay very relaxing and worry free. Will definitely recommend and will be back!

Bed was comfortable and shower steamed up pretty quick which was a big plus for me. Hot breakfast each morning! The staff was really helpful checking in and also when I left my room key in my room by mistake. The location is perfect as well, being right off the interstate and next to a yummy restaurant, Jimmy’s Char House. Will definitely stay here again!

This is nice hotel with a great staff. Cris & Nicole are particularly helpful, but I find all the staff to be accommodating. I have stayed here many times when I have business in Elgin. There has never once been a problem. Even during these difficult times, Country Inn of Elgin makes you feel safe, secure, and welcome. Great breakfast. The owner is very nice as well.

Cute little hotel that was being renovated when I stayed. They did not work during the early morning so nice to see it getting a face lift. Service was very great. They helped us out when the online booking place made a mistake.

First time staying here, it was very clean and relaxing. Rooms are very clean and smell wonderful! The breakfast was amazing with many choices hot and cold.. pool and spa area well kept!

Room was large and clean, bed was very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Did not use the pool or hot tub but they looked very nice. Loved the cookies at the front desk. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Greeted by friendly desk clerk. Room was clean and appropriate for my disability. The location was convenient, within a few miles of my destination. Check out was simple. Overall it was very pleasant staying here. I highly recommend this Country Inn.

This hotel is very nice! It had more of a home feel than some of the more modern Hilton hotels that I am use to. The breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts that I have had at a hotel, which was awesome! The pool was on the small side, but there was one. There was also a decent hot tub. The free cookies at the counter are nice as well!

It’s been five years since I was last at this location; no problems then or now. The on-site connivence store was a life-saver when I needed a quick meal for my toddler after swimming. Saved me a trip to the store. Plus, the items are decently priced so it’s a win-win. 👍🏻 The man who managed breakfast is very sweet and helpful as well. 👍🏻

Clean, very nice stay. Hot tub and pool were nothing fancy but the hot tub was hot and the pool was clean. The room was great and as we left we witnessed the cleaning crew removing all sheets and beddings for wash in every room. Vending machines worked and stocked. Breakfast was typical but again very clean well stocked and staffed. Desk clerk friendly and accommodated a late checkout. Hotel is located in a very nice area with a new looking steak joint sharing the parking lot. Overall it appears as though they try very hard to keep up on maintenance and appearances.

Stayed 3 weeks and was perfectly content with the accommodations. Dan was awesome to work with. Fantastic customer service from him. I didn't work with the other staff, so I can't speak to that. I'll definitely be back, next time I'm in the area.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was helpful and always kind. Different breakfast every morning, pool was open early and stayed open late, property was beautiful and clean. Very glad we picked them for our family reunion!! Will definitely stay again!!

This is my favorite hotel in the area. I'm active duty and I come home for leave every year and always stay here. The staff is very friendly, the hotel itself is very nice and has a comfortable feeling to it. The rooms are nice, great flat screen tv's, beds are very comfortable, housekeeping does an excellent job everyday, heat/ac works great and my favorite part is it's a very quiet hotel. I have stayed at a hotel right down the road from here but it's next to a bar and every night was woken up all hours of the night by drunk people either outside or in the building. This hotel is very family friendly and doesn't have those problems. Also, the breakfast is good every morning and the hot tub is very refreshing. There is a restaurant literally in the parking lot and it has a bar, and several places deliver to the hotel. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice, quiet, comfortable stay.

Staff was friendly and got us in and out very quickly! The room was very clean and we slept comfortably. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows because they were too soft, but certainly not something that would make me rate it lower.

5 star review because of Daniel! Hospitality is spot on. Linens were clean. Hotel itself is definitely dated and could use updating. However. For the price it was a good place to catch some zzzz's and has a great restaurant in walking distance across the parking lot.

Best complimentary breakfast I've had at a hotel for at least 10 years. No frills, but great for the price. Our room had a couch in it in addition to the bed which made it feel nice and cozy. The pool and whirlpool were in working order and the exercise room (albeit small) was open.

Great place! I took my boys here for their birthday and everyone was incredibly polite and accommodating. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub which are both very spacious. A night's stay also comes with breakfast; waffles, eggs, hash browns and sausage as well as cereal, juice and toast/ bagels.
