Poor care! My mother has been a patient of his for years, and truly has trusted him with her life. Now she is elderly he brushes her off to Hospice and recommends her to a nursing home. After hospital stay he orders hospice to get her out of the hospital to a nursing home with Hospice. Hospice Dr. Reviews and immediately says she does not qualify, that she would benefit from short- term rehab instead . She can walk 200-ft doesn’t qualify for short term rehab and has to pay privately. Family has been caring for since! Schedule an appointment with his office and when running a few minutes late because mom is not feeling well and slow to get around, call them to let them know we would be a few minute late when in route they say we have to reschedule. Although I’m sure we would have been waiting for over an hour for an appointment! Then mom gets a bill for a missed appointment! Have to renew a medication as mom is now on Hospice no thanks to him, but family that had to do the footwork because he doesn’t understand qualifying diagnosis although I was told he was a Hospice Dr. Blown off again when I need a script filled that Hospice cannot fill because they don’t want to be bothered and call me back to tell me all future orders go through Hospice. I just need one simple medication called in she needs. This should not be this hard! Talked with the office manager and I let her know this and she did not care! Physicians need to know what there office staff are doing and if this is how you want to run a practice good luck to you! Customer service and helping people is what this is all about not battling with long time patients that are paying your paychecks!
