Extremely professional and well-organized. They also did an excellent job on the embalming. My grandmother looked exactly like herself. Gary and Jake Vandenberg were there with us throughout the entire weekend of services-at the wake, the church, and the cemetery-making sure everything was well-run.

It’s hard to express in writing how wonderful the Vandenberg family was to ours at such a heart wrenching time. They made saying goodbye to my father a less stressful by allowing us to grieve while they took the wheel on his final arrangements. Thank you Jacob and Joshua for being there for myself and my family and handling my father with the utmost care and respect that he deserved.

I had the great pleasure of working with the Vandenberg funeral home team. I photographed a virtual tour and still images for their business page..Everyone from the office staff to all of the folks that work in back we're nothing but professional and extremely courteous to the families that were coming in to inquire about their facility. Highly recommend them.

We’ve had really nice experiences at Vandenberg. We had both my Mother and Father services at Vandenberg. We didn’t have to do much but show up. All our guess work was answered and taken care of, the place is beautiful and ample parking for guests.

The entire staff was was kind and accommodating. Both Joshua and Gary were extremely helpful in making a sad situation bearable. We couldn't have been happier with their services.

Josh and his family were very helpful and compassionate , I had to set up the wake and funeral for my mom and they guided me through this time and I was very pleased with there service as were my family members.

My father passed away and there were a lot of complications because of family disagreements. I was 22 and handling everything on my own. They were very undertsanding and accommodating.

may be a good funeral home but was unable to fill me in on the details of the burial of a 91 year old relative as to the priest; a correction to the obituary or if expenses remain unpaid for a funeral of Carmelita Hamel. listed as deceased on Jan 30,2015 who belonged to the same parish for 30 yrs.- St. Germaine of Oak Lawn il. 50454. It was unfortuneate that funeral directors' do not always allow for those who question if relatives are buried as they would have wished. I wonder If credentials and authority of live-in healthcare 'professionals' have overstepped their authoity and if scribbled signatures should be re-considered when a person reaches an advanced age. Possibly those in advanced ages need protection as do the children who are not able to speak for themselves.
