We had Clymer construction put a new roof on our place, didn’t take long for an estimate, very fast , & very professional. We chose Clymer construction because we had them in the past and they did an excellent job lower cost than any other contractor, fast , consistent work. We are very pleased with the job they done and will be using them in the future.
Folks they have been local for a long time , and worth hiring them for your job !

Doug and his crew replaced my challenging roof and did it to my 100% satisfaction! They also replaced 2 screen doors and installed a new front door, did some drywall work and did some work on my attic. I have had no problems and they were very courteous to work with during the process.

We have a historic home and struggled for months to find someone willing to try and fix a small section of our roof. No one wanted the pain of keeping it historically accurate or to just do a 10x7 ft sunroom roof. These guys went above and beyond. They went so far as to repair the metal roof, seal it, and stop any further damage, allowing us to keep the original roof. We will use them again! When we called, the replied, no issues.

Replaced all the windows in our home and did a FANTASTIC Job! They also did our sons home and that’s how we seen their craftsmanship!

The best in the STL metro area, I wouldn't consider any other business. Very fast, efficient, local business that has been around for decades. Customer service in this industry is almost nonexistent, here it's top notch and they actually care about your home or business.

Great experience. High quality workmanship. Siding looks great. Team was professional and polite. Cleaned up daily.

Horrible experience with Clymer! If their was an option to give zero stars i would have clicked that one. I have never been so disappointed in my entire life. I have been trying to submit a claim to my insurance company with Clymer since July. It's now October. I believe Doug was the one who said he would submit my claim and never did. I have a horrible roof with extensive hail damage from a bad storm last year and trying to get it fixed before the end of the year. I have two small children and would love to have a safe roof over our heads that doesn't leak into my kitchen anymore. This is sad because out of all the pwople on my street who got new roofs or roofs fixed mine is the worst and so far I've been playing phone tag for months with the insurance company and Clymer. Today I called a new roofing company to help me and my family out. Hopefully they will actually remember to submit the freaking claim!

Clymer used to be my go to construction company, repairing roofs and siding, and installing aluminum wrap on multiple properties. They were professional, honest, and responsive. I've spoken with the office manager 3 times in the past month, stating the owner would give me a call to schedule an appointment, and have heard nothing. Sad to see another once prominent local business fade away.

Look elsewhere if you’re looking to have work done or want to receive an estimate! This company was recommended to me, but I was sorely disappointed. They came out to give me a bid on cedar siding replacement and told me that they would return my bid within a couple off days. It is now a week later, and when I followed up, I was told that they would not be giving me an estimate because they were so backed up, they couldn’t replace a few of my boards until next spring. I told them that was fine, and I understood and could wait until then. She corrected herself and told me the company was not going to give a bid, even if I waited until the spring for the work! What a waste of my time! So unprofessional without any common courtesy!

Day one, It was stated by the owner, Mr. Clymer the contractors will be there at 7a. 7:15a, no call from any one. 7:30a. I'm trying to contact the office - no one is available. I leave for work at 7:33a. 8:15a. Mr. Clymer phones to say, the contactors are at the door. I told him, it's pass the time for them to arrive. He gave three excuses, 1. traffic, 2. they had to load up3. it was an accident on the bridge.

I asked him, why didn't they call. He said they had a bad number for me. You have my number, why didn't they call you to say they had a bad number.

No,... they were late and now you are trying to justify their wrong. Not with me. I am looking for another contactor. Don't play games with me because the City is helping me out. I don't trust you....

Do not Use Them, People are crazy there. The lady that works has some issues in her brain and she screamed at me for no reason
