I recently had a roof put on by Daech and Bauer Roofing. I was very pleased with the Outcome. From start to finish the whole process was quick and simple. The crew did an amazing job and was very cautious of my landscaping. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof. The whole staff and crew were very professional. Hard to find companies like this now days!

Their project for our home was delayed due to a number of circumstances not related to their service or performance. Every associate, especially Natalie Marsh, treated us with the upmost respect and handled all situations in a very professional manner.

The workers were very hard working and cleaned up great after the job was complete. They worked hard in keeping things cleaned up as the day progressed. Very pleased with the workers and the cleanup.

These folks are very professional, had a leak by chimney and while up repairing the leak he checked and repaired several other potential leak areas. Was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Earlier this year, my subdivision was hit by hail. Although 7 other homes nearby have had full roof replacement from this storm, my insurance company adjuster only allowed for patching and a partial replacement. I saw Daech & Bauer's sign and called. I explained the situation with my insurance and asked Jeramie for a bid for a full replacement. He assured me he could work with the insurance and get a better settlement as there was more damage than what they allowed for. After receiving other bids, they were the lowest. After many attempts to contact their rep Jeramie I gave up. Weeks later another person, William, from D&B showed up wanting to know if I needed any roof repairs. I informed him I had a bid from D&B but wasn't receiving any response from Jeramie. He said Jeramie had quit. No one notified us of this. After being assured that 9 out of ten times, he could get a better settlement from insurance, we eventually agreed to sign a contract with D&B. William looked over the bid given to us by Jeramie and told us it was measured wrong. He told us it would be an additional $1,100. This was still a little less than other bids so we signed and gave a check for half the cost with the rest due at completion. Within a couple days we received a call from William saying the estimate was still too low and our original bid of $6,500, that had climbed to $7,600, was now $11,000. This was substantially higher than bids from other companies. I asked for and received my check back. The insurance company still hasn't budged on their settlement claiming they didn't receive the additional proof requested from D&B meaning, 80% of the cost is still out of my pocket.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! I hired them to put an entire roof on my parents home in Feb. 2015. We gave them $2000.00 to buy the materials to start the job. This company became a nightmare. They left a dumpster on my parents asphalt driveway all night that caused extensive damage to the point we now have huge craters and cracks where the tires were sitting. Then when they removed it they ran part of it through the yard causing a huge rut. They threw shingles onto the awnings causing damage to the one over the back door. They put ladders up against the gutter on the front of the garage that bent and broke all the clips that hold it in place. The gutter now leaks at the seams and water runs behind the siding and into the garage door. This all took place in 2 days that they were on my property. The estimate to fix the driveway is $900.00 and the garage gutter is $250.00. They tried to bend the awning back in place and cracked and broke the metal and paint. My family received a certified letter yesterday April 8 from RP Lumber in Edwardsville, IL telling us they are going to place a lien on my mother's house due to lack of payment for the materials Daech & Bauer picked up in February. This was an insurance claim that was paid out to my mother to replace the roof and now she has a possible lien on her house because of the misrepresentation and fraud committed by this company. I drove over to the address listed for this company however when I got there with a police officer the building was vacant. I got hold of the person that apparently answers the phone for this so called roofing company and she said she works out of her home. If you go online and try to get any kind of information there are numerous addresses and phone numbers to which NONE are either a good number or there is some other company occupying the address. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in St. Louis and they are being very helpful in assisting my family with filing the claim. I have also been advised by the insurance company that paid for the roof to contact the Attorney Generals office. I am now handing this over to my attorney. I have contacted the Division of Contracting & Licensing in Springfield, IL to file an investigation. I also intend on calling the news media to try and warn people about this company so this does not happen to anyone else.

I signed a contract with them In April 2015 to replace: 1 - roof, 2 - soffits and fascia, 3 - gutters/downspouts and paid my 1st payment which was 1/3 of entire amount. I was told that the project will be completed in about 6 weeks. After 6 months and every day calls to the company I eventually had my roof installed. Next step was to install soffits and fascia. It took another month and eventually one guy showed up to install soffits and fascia. The guy took my check started to work and left after 1 hour. Next day nobody showed up at all. I have every morning calls with their product team, billing team and do not see the end of this story. BTW I want to put my house on the market and can't do it few months due to "extremely professional and dedicated company" Daech & Bauer.

Estimate and work with insurance company took a month. Latest estimate of actual repair is 6 months.
