Running Wild

I was wanting to try some brands of shoes that big stores don't carry - like ON Clouds and HOKA. This store had outstanding service and customer attention. It was a good experience and after trying on 5-6 different models I found the pair I wanted. I will return for a second pair of running shoes there at some point for sure.

Running Wild in Fairhope is one of my favorites! They are the best at suggesting what shoes will work best for me! Ann, Leah, and the rest of the staff are always so friendly and helpful!

Good service Good selection very helpful stuff especially given it's only two days before Christmas! Prices are premium but they offer very high quality product for people interested in more than just aesthetics when it comes to their exercise and training equipment.

I had originally wrote a negative review that I decided was distasteful and I deleted it. The problem that I had was honestly something out of the stores control but I wrote it in the heat of the moment when I thought my problem couldn’t be resolved. Then not even an hour later this store called me back and completely fixed the problem and went above and beyond what they had to do. I will definitely try them out again if we’re ever in fairhope. My husband loves running and loves stores that cater to runners like this one! Excellent management!

This place really helped my mother in law get the correct shoes . She had been buying sizes too big for years, causing her to trip on numerous things. The staff here was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, she absolutely loves her new shoes .

My podiatrist recommended this store since I needed assistance finding suitable walking shoes. The sales person ( Owner?) at Running Wild measured my feet, observed my gait, and found the right shoes within a few minutes. And the price was in line with the stores that offer no assistance, nor the knowledge to help.
We will buy our walking shoes at Running Wild from now on. It was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

Went in for a new pair of running shoes & wasn't set on a specific brand. Abigail was my sales associate & did an outstanding job... i tried on at least 5 different pairs & she was very helpful & patient. I ended up getting the Brooks Glycerin very cushiony with a full toe box. Also stocked up on some nuun hydration tablets & a groovy pair of sunglasses. Running Wild is a great store & i like supporting local small businesses.

the store was so clean and well organized. very helpful and pleasant staff. young lady helped me get some shoes at closing time and she was so pleasant, great energy, and such an amazing smile! I'd definitely go back for the quality products and her presence (promise I'm not crushing LOLOL)

I’ve recently retired to Orange Beach after a career in law-enforcement in Birmingham. During my last few years on the job I sadly let my physical fitness go. So I decided with my new life on the coast, I really needed to get back into shape. So I came to Running Wild to get some quality running shoes.

I was greeted by Jeannie when I walked in the door. She asked if she could help me and I asked her if she felt up to the challenge, she said “Sure.” I explained my situation and goals, and she had me sit down and take off my shoes and socks so she could get my true size and evaluate my feet (for over/under pronation, etc).

She brought me 3 different pairs to try on, and I decided on the New Balance 860v11 which felt fantastic! She also recommended a pair of socks which would suite me better than ordinary cotton socks which I also bought.

This was a much better experience than I’d ever had in any of the running shoe stores in Birmingham. I can’t wait to get started training in these shoes. And when I wear these out, I’ll definitely be coming back to see Jeannie at Running Wild!

Running Wild has A+ customer service! I had a little mishap with a recent order, and they were very helpful and willing to make it right. They just earned a customer for life.

Skip the big box stores, and come straight to this place if you need new athletic shoes! We had a wonderfully tailored experience, and it was nice to have someone narrow down options for your own feet without trying on every shoe in the store.

As a brand new runner I was told I needed a new pair of "good" shoes by experienced friends. I came across this store while doing some research, and was immediately intimidated considering it's location in downtown Fairhope. I was afraid I would not be taken seriously as a brand new over weight runner.

I was completely wrong. Ann was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She was professional, knowledgable, and very encouraging! She was willing to show me things and provide information without be pushy at all.

She also fitted my husband with a new pair of everyday walking shoes, and we will certainly return to this location for any future athletic needs!

Justin was so patient with me and very knowledgeable about what I needed for my feet to feel true comfort. I later told him I had to go home and see if work would allow me to wear color shoes and he said no problem, no pressure. Well I did go back and I was happy that he was there to complete my sale. I would definitely go back, great customer service!!!

Thank you so much for the individual attention and helping me get fitted into a great new running shoe! Highly recommend, and I'll have to check out their store in Pensacola, FL the next time I'm that way.
