Exceptional, fast and easy service. 10s across the board. I've always been anxious about taking my car to the shop due to prior bad experiences, but Eric and his team have yet to let me down. They explain the diagnostic results thoroughly, perform the service swiftly, and almost always have my car done by the end of the appointment day. I cannot recommend them enough and especially to college students!!

Campus Garage is the best.. they make my 1982 Mercedes 240D run very well.. that 42 year old "cream-puff" has 320,000 miles on it.. Exceptional place, trustworthy, reasonably priced.

Had an outstanding experience getting my coil, struts and sway bar replaced. They knew what the issue immediately when I described the sounds my vehicle was making over the phone, inspected my car the next day and had it fixed the day after!! Highly recommend!

We contacted Campus Garage last minute to try and have a car we were thinking of buying inspected. They were able to get us in quickly and did what felt like a thorough inspection, that ultimately allowed us to move forward with a used car purchase. That being said, I am still impressed with Campus Garage.

I am not mechanically inclined, so I appreciate when the pros take time to clearly explain situations to me.

Our 2018 Traverse was in because the AC would only push warm/hot air, and the brakes were squealing.

Both issues were remedied within a few hours...and for a fair price.

I'm grateful we have access to knowledgeable and honest mechanics in Ames.

I had my first experience with Campus Garage, and it was everything I had heard. And more.

Within a week of calling for an appointment, Campus Garage was able to get my car in. I dropped it off the night before...got a call the next morning. I was given a detailed list and associated costs. Everything was noted...and at a reasonable rate. There were no hard selling tactics. Just straight-up facts

I assumed it would be a couple weeks or more before they could get to the repairs, but, happily, they could handle all repairs THAT afternoon. I was shocked.

Not to sound cliche, but I will...Campus Garage has old-fashioned values. They really want you to be a repeat customer. Not a repeat customer by stringing you along with a charge here, there, and everywhere... but by building trust and a lasting relationship.

If you're looking for mechanics who know what they're doing AND care about you as a customer, I highly recommend Campus Garage.

Our granddaughter is a student at ISU. She was concerned about a rattle in the rear of her car. We researched garages in Ames and found Campus to have a very good reputation. We scheduled an appointment and were given an assessment and an estimate for repairs the day of the appointment (rear wheel bearing replacement). The next morning before 9:00 AM the repairs were completed. We found the technicians/mechanics to be courteous, diligent and honest! We, of course, researched the estimate and it was spot on for her vehicle and that part of the country! Will not hesitate to call on Campus Garage for any future repairs!

First of all I needed a new timing belt kit and thermostat on my old 1999 A4 Audi that is still in good shape. After much research and getting the run around from dealerships in most areas of Iowa I won the lottery when I found Campus Garage. After contacting them and visiting with Eric I knew that was the shop for me. We talked through the process and Eric provided me with price for labor and detailed parts list for the repairs. The work is now complete and I'm back on the road with a 2 year warranty on the repairs. His team has the specialized skills to work on foriegn autos and that is just what I was looking for. You can pay with a card and not have a up charge fee to use the card like a lot places do these days. This was my first experience with Campus Garage and I will be back for future needs for on the Audi, for sure! Way better than the dealership experiences so give them a try for your foriegn auto repairs. They will more than meet your expectations.
