Just entering, no-one greeted or acknowledged us. So that made us a little uncomfortable to the point we was about to leave. But once seated our waitress, Mary, made the whole situation better. She was hospitable, kind, helpful, and showed good personal interest !!! The food ended up being awesome!!

We ordered breakfast and it was very delicious. We appreciated the menu choices. We noticed that the server was busy with several tables and left her an above average tip. However, they need additonal servers and better communication to know who has has paid already.

I ordered catering size breakfast casserole (bacon and sausage), cheese grit and hashbrown casseroles, and tomato gravy. Everything was hot and absolutely delicious! Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

This is the most memorable Breakfast I've had since my Grandmother passed. Talk about turning back the clock. First, Ms. Sam promptly greeted me and sat me at a table before getting my drink request. Not 2 minutes later i had my Orange Juice and Coffee FRESH and at my tabke. I ordered the Premium Country Breakfast w/ Country Fried Steak. I asked Ms Sam to swap my grits for Breakfast Potatoes and make my order of Sunny Side Up Eggs a three egg order. Y'ALL! Their homemade Black Berry Jelly is AWESOME!!! It reminds me of my Grandmother's recipe; SO Good!! I would recommend visiting just for the Rye Toast and Black Berry Jelly. It is a STAPLE!!
Now I cain't wait to make it to lunch with these fine folks one day!

Just had the most amazing breakfast with my grandma! The food was amazing and full of flavor, the catfish with tomato/conecuh gravy and grits is to die for. The bacon is cooked to crispy perfection and the homemade jams are paired perfectly with warm buttery biscuits. Can wait to come back here again to try more delicious honestly breakfasts.

Jackie was an excellent server. She made us feel appreciated as customers. My Chicken and Waffles was great. We live in Atlanta but will definitely visit again.

The Chicken and Waffles were amazing! Chicken was fresh and tender. Waffle had a crunch but was also soft inside. It was awesome! Wonderful staff as well!

Great chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, with mayo, craisins, celery, pecans, lettuce and tomato plus chips *@$9.99. Ask for a sample of their sweet-heat pickles. Wait staff is friendly and kind.

Gorgeous spot for a great southern breakfast!

One of the most pleasant breakfasts we’ve had in years! Lovely tables under the beautiful big trees outside, doggo was super happy, and so were we!

The food was amazing - everything homemade, right down to the jams and jellies. Adorable southern house turned restaurant, the people are really wonderful and welcoming, as are the other patrons. If I lived here, I’d be here every week. Absolutely beautiful!

My sister and I ate lunch here today and it was very good. I have eaten here many times. We got the baked tomato pie, which is one of my favorites. They have canned sodas and we so appreciate that as compared to Fountain soda. Our waitress was a young girl and she was very sweet. I also know from past experience at their homemade sweet pickles are delicious

Love coming to a local cafe with good food and even better service. All the ladies are amazing but shout out to Jackie!

To the people who don't know what certain items are like: Pear Salad, Tomato Pie, and Pistachio Delight....ask these amazing people and they will tell you exactly what it is.

Be sure to come here hungry because you will leave here FULL!

The service was excellent and caring to please You! Seems RARE these days to find a place that cares about your dining experience. The food was delicious having been served hot and more importantly prompt!!

Great homemade southern food and condiments (jams, sweet/spicy pickles, etc.). We had the country fried steak bowl. Nice breading and white gravy, lots of country potatoes. The biscuit was crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Friendly staff. Will return.

The food at Sugar Kettle is to die for. OMG! Our family LOVES to go here on Sunday's after church. It's a most have at least once a month. The staff and owners are friendly always smiling, even during the Sunday morning rush. If you haven't had the hashbrown casserole, French toast, or bacon (literally the best bacon I've ever had) at the Sugar Kettle than you haven't lived. They are out of this world. And the pricing is very reasonable. Only wish they were open on Saturday.

My waitress was Tara, and she was the right amount of friendly with pace. Excellent service. I've only gone once, so I can only recommend her, but she had great service. The biscuits taste real! Not store bought! I've never had real biscuits. Pleasant surprise. The hashbrown casserole was good, too. I got the apple jam, it was the right choice. The banana pudding was good, too. Better than store bought. Bacon was thick like a piece of ham, very juicy. Eggs were light, fluffy, and creamy - in a good way. Just right. Very high praise. I think it was the unexpected great tasting biscuits :) If I lived locally, I'd definitely eat here often - of course, getting some biscuits to go, and I'm not a bread gal :)

The food is spectacular,a true southern inspired meal. The building fits perfectly with the food and should not be changed. The servers were attentive and knew the menu well suggesting their favorites meals which did not disappoint. Cheers to everybody working there!

All homemade. The home made biscuits were awesome. The tomatoe pie was delicious. We came upon this place by accident and will certainly be back. Thank you for a great breakfast ghosts and all.
