Cute little store nestled in downtown Fairhope. Went in for ice cream and surprised to see they offered popcorn, coffee, muffins, and cookies.

Offered freshly scooped Blue Bell ice cream as well as packaged ready to go ice cream sandwiches.

Always great treats when we eat here. Staff is always smiling and very awesome. The atmosphere is cozy. Lots of treats to choose from. Malt, shake, ice cream, popcorn, cookie ice cream sandwhich, coffee, Latte, lemonade, cookies, etc.....

This is my oldest daughter's favorite ice cream shop. It is great to walk to after playing at the park.

This is a nice ice cream/coffee shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the location is clean and they make a great effort to satisfy the customer. My only complaint is in the prices, they seemed steep to me but if you don’t like the prices you always go somewhere else. As a whole, we enjoyed the service and we will be going back.

Mr Gene's Beans is a wonderful, Must-go-to, coffee and ice cream shop located in downtown fairhope. They have great, quality roasts and espresso. If you stop by you'll be greeted like family but their cheerful staff and you absolutely must try their signature "Fairhope Float". My favorite is the 16oz float with an extra shot of espresso and nutmeg. With fine weather their outdoor seating offers a comfortable and chill open setting to enjoy whichever treats you order with your honey or your family. 5★

What a treat! Traveling to Fairhope, Alabama for the third time to visit a friend, I was amazed I haven’t made it to Mr. Green Beans! I tried their famous Float and wasn’t disappointed! It truly hit the spot! My friends all ordered ice cream and shakes and trust me, they were beyond satisfied! If you are visiting the Fairhope area… make it a point to stop by this little jewel! The owners are adorable! They gave us recommendations on dinner and were a joy to chat with! However they could not chat to long… the line was forming to get some of their goodies!

Awesome little ice cream and coffee shop! My wife got the Fairhope Float which is a coffee and ice cream float which was delicious. The ice cream was good as well but for sure get the float!

Cutest place!! Ice cream selection is good, love that they also have fun items like popcorn and glass bottle cokes. But the atmosphere and friendly service is definitely why we love it so much!

I’m so glad I found this little gem. It’s in the perfect location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The line was long when I entered but the wait wasn’t long at all. I love the fact they have great premade selections to chose from. The milkshakes are to die for.

This is a must stop in fairhope. I got to taste like at Baskin Robbins, which was my 1st job! I like to consider myself a bit of a self-proclaimed ice cream connesuior 😉 and my experience did not disappoint! It was a nice treat for a lovely evening! Thanks 🫠

Always stop by here when in Fairhope. My wife's family lived in town years ago and brought me here on my first visit to Fairhope, one of their trips back. Grab a shirt every time I go, even met Mr. Gene my first visit. Number 1 stop for us in town, highly recommend.

Had a great cup of coffee. The sweet girl behind the counter was just precious! I'm so sorry I didn't get her name. They have really good ice cream too.

Fairhope Float is amazing!! Highly recommend! The moment we walked in the staff had full of energy and had great vibes! Great location!

The atmosphere was great! Perfect combination for adults and kids alike! Who doesn't want to grab fresh home brewed coffee for themselves and wonderful Blue Bell ice cream for their kiddos? We came after dark on a Friday evening and the street had already been shut down for their regular street festival but we only had to park a block away and it was well worth it! The walk to and from was filled with music and beautiful lights and their very own French Quarter! I highly recommend this experience for any age! P.S. They were open til 10pm which was awesome!

Definitely a must go ! If you like coffee you have to try the fairhope float, I wasn’t in the mood for it so we got an ice cream sandwich to split and two straws/spoons to share the float… which ended up being so good it was gone in minutes and now we can’t wait to go back to get it again !! We needed to cut the ice cream sandwich so we asked for a knife and the employee didn’t think the plastic would do it so she offered to take it back and cut it with a real knife for us, and everyone in here was so kind and happy ! Great place !

They serve Blue Bell ice cream, about twenty flavors. The scoops are generous, and the service was great!
