Saddle Up Saloon - this business is closed; is now Bar IX

This is the best bar in all of Mobile if you’re looking for a fun night filled with cheap beer, yummy cocktails (ask for the The Watermelon Crawl or Redneck KoolAid), and dancing! As silly as it sounds, this bar raised me. Before 10:30, It’s full of kind folks where everyone knows your name and the later it gets, the wilder the party. The music is always great. The bartenders are always friendly and beautiful. The owner and his wife pour so much love into his bar and treat you so special if you ever get to meet them. Saddle Up has been my go to since 2014 and I’ve never felt unsafe there. The security is always on point but never needlessly aggressive. I’ve never had a bad time at Saddle Up Saloon. Memories are always made.

Doors opened up 45 minutes later for an event than advertised, but once opened, it was wonderful. Not enough seating room, but not too crowded. Would absolutely come back.

BEST bar in mobile by far with the BEST bartenders! Great music, great atmosphere and awesome drinks. The owners, security, bartenders and all of the staff at saddle up saloon are extremely professional, fun and sweet! Definitely worth giving it a visit if your looking to have some fun!!

Had a blast & everyone made me feel young again

Heard a great singer tonight. Justin was his name. Place was not too crowded but kind of got smokie towards the end of the night. Owner of the place was there and interacted with the customers. Nice guy!!!! Had a good time.

Great bartenders and staff, good drink/shot specials. Younger crowd with fun events happening all the time, if you like to dance and party definitely worth checking out!

Got caught downtown in severe weather that came out of no where at 1:00 in the afternoon with my infant. The owners or I assume they are the owners saw us and opened the up the place and let us seek shelter until my husband could get out car!

They have good drink specials and the bartenders are friendly and they do a good job

The bartenders here are very friendly although they could have someone do a little more maintenance on the restrooms throughout the night.
