Delicious breakfast here today. Excellent, friendly and accommodating service too! Only comment is I’m not for certain the chicken fried steak is hand battered in house. I’ve had Sysco chicken fried steak and tasted very similar. However, it was good ((not great though). The gravy was good, eggs poached just the way I like them and good creamy grits. Husband very satisfied with his meal and said the pancakes were very good. Will definitely return on our next trip from Florida to Texas!

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with friends on Tuesday 7/16. The breakfast tacos with bacon were incredible. Didn’t even add hot sauce! We also had biscuits and gravy and steak and eggs. All delicious, hearty portions, and fairly priced. Our waitress, I believe her name is Olivia, is wonderful and delivers top notch customer service. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and I look forward to more tacos!

Our go-to place for breakfast! I’ve tried almost everything from the biscuits and gravy to the recently new additions, Eggs Florentine, Benedict and the revised breakfast tacos. I have never been disappointed. We love the staff and the atmosphere. We are picky about being regulars anywhere, so Julwins you’re doing it right. Keep it up!

Fairhope really has a slice of NOLA's french quarter, and it can be found in Julwin's Shrimp and Grits!

The wait was not bad and our waitress was very friendly.

We have been to NOLA twice and these were the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. My wife enjoyed the spinach omelette and the kids crushed the chocolate chip pancake bears.

Only complaint for atmosphere was the booth we were seated at slants down on one side so my kid was leaning against me as she ate. We were briefed about it before sitting, but if you know its a problem, stick a wooden plank under one side.

If we find ourselves back in town, this will be a mandatory stop.

My food was great and it came out quickly after ordering. I got the Breakfast Sampler with 2 pancakes, ham,bacon, sausage, 3 scrambled eggs, hash browns and a coffee. Service was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely a place to go to for breakfast.

Stopped by here for breakfast 2 days while vacationing in Fairhope. Great experience. Great food and service! Austin is the manager and is amazing. Witnessed him serving a blind guest with compassion. Definitely another reason to visit this place.

One of fairhope's oldest eating establishments. Definitely worth stopping in to see why it has stood the test of time. Great food. Excellent service. Atmosphere is peaceful. If you leave here hungry. It's your own fault

There was a short wait, but it was worth it.. I had the brown bag smash burger.. it was nice and peppery.. very, very good.... everything else looked good also..

I've visited Julwin's many times and they have set a high standard of customer service, yet I want to spotlight this last visit on June 4. The place suddenly got very busy, very quickly, and the wait staff was tasked with setting realistic expectations for timing of food since so many orders got put in simultaneously. I was lucky enough to have Maria as my server and she was great. She explained the timing situation to all her tables, but not every customer was understanding. Still, she handled it well. And honestly it didn't even take that long to get the food, anyway, but I saw the entire staff - servers, cooks, owner - scrambling around professionally and courteously, sometimes going above and beyond to make sure everybody was satisfied. The service at Julwin's is gold.

I've been here three times now for breakfast and the food and service were consistently excellent. Each staff member makes sure that each table is serviced, even if it isn't their table. I've never been a fan of homemade biscuits, but this place has me sold; best biscuits!!

We enjoy finding that local breakfast restaurant while on a trip, and Julwins fits that bill. Everything was great: food, style of the restaurant, and the service.
No problem getting a table. Someone always checking on our coffee refills. Eggs were cooked exactly the way we liked. Chicken fried steak was tender and delicious.

I had something as simple as a western omelette, hash browns and it was the best I have had around. Onions sautéed perfect and so much flavor. The service was spot on, always asking if we needed a refill on coffee. Generous portions for a great price.

Excellent breakfast and friendly wait staff. I had shrimp & grits and biscuits & gravy. Both were great and I like how they cut up fresh sausage patties for the gravy. Shrimp tasted fresh and the bbq sauce was good. Abby had the traditional pancakes, eggs, and hash browns. She says “super yummy!” The perfect small town place to have an enjoyable breakfast. 👍🏻

Great food, friendly service, loved it!

We stop by the other day, have a bite of breakfast after Mass. They are located next to a small park, when we arrived there were several people sitting out on the benches, however they were just enjoying the morning sun, not waiting for a table. We asked for a table for two and were immediately seated, yay!
We had the basic breakfast, eggs, sausage, toast…. And I had a couple of pancakes!! Our meals were terrific!! The wait staff was efficient, prompt, and checked on us often!

A classic country breakfast done right. The service was impeccable, the coffee was pretty darn good, and the scrambled eggs were fluffy and moist. This is a fabulous place to go for much needed comfort food hug.

Great place for a nice breakfast or lunch. It's always hard to decide what to order as everything is so good.

Short wait which was expected for a Sunday brunch but was definitely worth it. Food was excellent and priced very reasonably. Service from Austin and the rest was excellent. Nice small town restaurant with a great feel.

What a wonderfully quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown “hometown” America. The food quality was truly above average which always enhances flavor. I strongly urge anyone in the area to dine here for a wonderful, no-frills, good-food experience.
