Gambino's Italian Grill

My mom and I were in town for Mother’s Day and visited Gambinos for an early Mother’s Day dinner. Parking was a challenge but we were in and out in about an hour but never felt rushed by the staff. They were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. (This bread sticks are incredible!!!) I enjoyed the chicken Parmesan and my mom had the spaghetti. The portions were great sizes and the prices were reasonable. Great experience!! (Especially for someone from out of town)

This was my first time eating here, and I can't believe it took us so long. Our server Sarah was great. She told us the special and gave wine and food recommendations which were quite useful. We had the artichokes for an appetizer. I had the lasagna while my husband had the taste of Italy for our entrées. All of it was great! We can't wait to take out of town guest next time they come to visit. The portions are plenty big, enough for lunch leftovers the next day. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. My son tried my lasagna leftovers and wants to go, so we'll be back soon!

Having ventured from the Saint Louis Metro Area, our expectations were exceeded by not just the food, but the charming atmosphere that’s perfect for families and celebrations alike.

The energy in the restaurant was infectious, and it set the stage for an unforgettable engagement dinner. "Incredible" barely scratches the surface when describing the mastery behind their culinary creations—every bite conveyed the freshness and passion put into their food.

Adding to the already lively ambiance was a bartender whose skill at crafting drinks was only matched by his ability to make our wait for a table enjoyable. The cocktails were not just refreshing but also beautifully balanced to perfection.

Our server, Tiffany, deserves a special shout out for her attentiveness and professionalism. She navigated our celebration with such finesse that we felt taken care of in a way that was both familial and impeccable. Her service was a significant part of why our dining experience was so extraordinary.

We cannot overstate the impact that Gambino's had on our special night. Leaving Alabama with full hearts and sated appetites, we are already planning our next visit. It's rare to find a place that not only meets but surpasses your dining expectations—Gambino's Italian Grill is that rare gem. We'll definitely be returning, and we encourage anyone who finds themselves in Alabama to stop by and allow the team at Gambino's to create a memorable experience for them, too. Wow, what a great place. Can't believe it's taken me this long to visit. Drove an hr to check out Gambinos. 1st impressions upon entering was a cool spot with lots of history. Menu has something for everyone. Almost too many options if that's possible. We ended up starting with the fried eggplant fries with marinara and fried mushrooms. Both were delicious. Salad and bread were fresh. Sirloin and grilled shrimp were spot on, and my 24oz Prime Rib was maybe the best I've ever had. We both will opt for a different side than the steak fries on our next visit. Service was on point, and the amount and quality of food received were very well priced. Can't wait to visit again.

Fantastic service. Had crab claws, mozzarella with prosciutto, seafood Palermo, and Chicken zingari. Our Server was informative and helpful. We had tiramisu and limoncello marscapone cheesecake. Everything was fantastic. Can get a little loud when it fills up. Luckily they did put up some soundproofing on the ceiling that helped a lot. Get there early. Not sure if they take reservations. We will definitely revisit when we return to the area.

Mario was our fabulous waiter! We ordered the special- grouper on a bed of spinach, mushroom, & brussel sprout risotto. Fish had nice grill to it. All the flavors were excellent! Great atmosphere with lots of various rooms for dining.

I love the gangster theme to the restaurant. The food was great and had me stuffed. Stacy was such a delight as our waitress. She was always ready for refills and if we had questions. The veal was delicious and if you save room for dessert, the cannoli is chef’s kiss. The breadsticks are also amazing.

The atmosphere and food were amazing! 5 stars for the Chicken Marsala!! The service was FANTASTIC—ask for Olivia!!

We absolutely adored our waiter named Mario! He was so very attentive and friendly. The food was very good. Huge portions. We definitely had to take part of the food home to enjoy later. Great wine list.

We love coming here! Tonight we got mussels, ribeye, and chicken Napoli. Everything was excellent and service was awesome. We love Jeno and Ashley, and even their support staff remembers us. We love feeling like family when we go out to eat. Big 5 stars!

First time to Gambino’s. Visiting from NJ. The restaurant is beautiful and very inviting. Everything I had was extremely tasty but more importanly the service was amazing! All the staff was welcoming when coming in. Coming from a waitress of 22 years experience…. our waitress Kenya was on point with explaining the dishes, water refills and being attentive. Planning to return on our next trip back to Alabama.

My family and I ate at Gambino's for the first time while visiting last family last week. We celebrated my fathers birthday, and everything was amazing! We started with apps: meatballs and bacon wrapped shrimp! Both were outstanding. All of us enjoyed our meals and house made desserts! Brandon, our server, was super!!! I can't wait to dine here again next time we visit!

GREAT Italian food! The night we went they had live entertainment! Excellent! The art on the walls is fun, but LOOK at and READ the certificates hanging next to the exit. Gambino’s grandfather was an inventor! A wonderful place for your stomach, and your mind, and your soul!

This one get's my 55 stars....One of my favorite places ever. Guys if you're looking for a great place to bring a first date, look no further than this Fairhope gem. Now, I enjoy bringing my kids here. This particular night my 13 year old spotted the owner and just had to get his autograph. He very humbly honored her request, while my 10 year old looked on a little starstruck. If you are visiting from out of town this is a must visit on your dining check list.

First time at Gambinos from out of state. Such a warm welcome entering the restaurant. The food was amazing! Our waitress Amanda was so sweet and attentive. Service was great as glasses were always full and nothing left to be desired. Will be back again.

The blueberry cheesecake is a must.

Brian Russ and Jade were serving us and it is very rare to find a restaurant with 3 waiters assigned to one table.

They did a great job and were very personable.

We came in for early Valentines, belated birthday dinner. The steaks were fabulous, done very well, and the blueberry cheesecake (and bread pudding) was delicious. We really enjoyed our dinner. Amanda was FABULOUS and very knowledgeable and pleasant. She's on the ball!

Our waiter was Mario and he was amazing and the food is absolutely delicious from salad to bread to the chicken piccata or beef ravioli!! Highly recommend. For fun set in the old piano bar, very nostalgic, great music

Enjoyed our dinner. We had a large group and the wait staff were attentive and friendly.
Good wine, delicious food and great desserts were had by all.
There was a long line waiting on Saturday night. We had a reservation and didn't have to wait; they had our table ready on time.
It took about 3 hours for us to complete the meal because we were a group of 23.
The Rib-eye steak I had was amazing. Ordered it Chicago style and they nailed it. Tiramisu was good. Yummy bread sticks.

The chef here made the absolutely baffling error of serving the Steak Oscar on a hot cast iron skillet. So of course the hollandaise sauce becomes scrambled eggs. For steak and scrambled eggs, I have to say it was tasty.

Definitely get the meatballs appetizer. Top notch marina sauce and very tender meatballs.
