Burnette Farms Market

Can’t believe I have lived in Shelby County for for over 20 years and not known about this place. If you are looking for local produce in season this place has it. Plus gulf seafood, local honey, local eggs from pastured hens, locally prepared food such as gumbo, cornbread muffins, dips, soups, pimiento cheese, and an outrageous selection of home made ice cream. There is an ice cream parlor there where you can sit and enjoy any of the many flavors. People are friendly and helpful.

Well stocked, well organized and friendly. Lovely produce. Reasonable prices.

The homemade ready to eat meals are delicious! It's becoming a Sunday thing to swing by and grab a meal in the fridge. Tater tot casserole, chicken casserole with green beans, spiraled ham with cabbage, heat it in the microwave for about a min and a half....amazing! Perfectly portioned. Same price as a burger and fries! Going back next week!

Awesome local produce right now! Even have bacon to go with the ripe tomatoes for a BLT. Get some hand-dipped ice cream also!

This place is a must! I wish they'd update their sign because it doesn't make it stand out enough. Lived here 4 years and finally went in to see what it was about. Only thing I was disappointed in was myself, for waiting so long to go in. They had adorable, unique Christmas things. Cannot wait to see what they offer for other holidays/seasons!

I love this place. Fresh veggies and fruits! Friendly, helpful staff! Yummy homemade ice cream! Love veggie pizzas! Hubby loves meatloaf, tater tot casserole, roast beef, chicken and dressing! Bought many items from boutique! If you have not been yet, I highly recommend you go!!

We have visited a few times. The food is really good and the ice cream is amazing! The first time we went they were offering samples of their pizza's. We tried several. Our favorite was the cauliflower crust! We sampled several ice creams. Even the habanero ice cream! I ended up with cantaloupe ice cream! So good!

This is a great place! It was my first time there and they had great produce! Bought a watermelon and OMG! It was sooo sweet! They had all kinds of Kelly's! They even had one that was made with moonshine! Will be going there from now on!

Very nice market, fresh fruits and veggies. Great plants and outside decor. Cafe food is good. Ice cream is fabulous and lemonade is too! You can find just about anything you need at Burnett's Farm Market.

I absolutely love the peach cobbler and homemade ice cream at this place!! My daughters and I frequent this place to enjoy a treat after running all our errands!!!The environment is clean, spacious, friendly and the homemade ice cream is to die for!!! I definitely recommend this place for the ice cream lovers 🍦🍦🍦

Love this place! They have the best cantaloupes I have ever eaten. Fresh tomatoes, Chilton County Peaches.

If you’ve never been to Burnette Farms Market, you are missing out! Fresh, beautiful produce and so much more. There’s also a cafe where ice cream is made daily. The owners are so nice and really seem to enjoy mingling with their customers. Yes, this will be a weekly shopping treat for me!

Very warm owners. Can find seasonal veggies and fruit as well as cute clothes! Fun place to check out. They also have fresh squeezed lemonade, pizza, Daily lunch and Homemade icecream, plants. Very good, clean.

This is a great farm stand they carry lots of fresh vegetables as well as some straight from the farm refrigerated and frozen veggies. They also carry other products you might expect in a farm store such as canned (glass jars) specialty foods - jams, jellies, veggies and the like. Additionally, they have homemade ice cream. I highly recommend a visit.

Friendly owners & staff make you feel like family. Best tomatoes, peaches from their orchard and World’ best ice cream, cobblers & meat and three lunches. They deserve more than 5 stars.

The chicken dressing with gravey was perfect. Their cream corn and fried okra are on point. The butter beans were a tad bitter, but still good. Their chicken tenders are huge in size. The cobbler is YUMMY! Service is always great.

We have been stopping here about every other month. However, today I needed ground beef and hadn’t been able to find any. They had it! I reserved it and stopped in to pick it up. While I was there I saw their produce boxes. I had just bought produce, but moving forward I will definitely be purchasing produce boxes from them as well. It looks like our visits are going to be more frequent.
