Great little bakery, very nice people, the donuts are tasty, the cream cheese cinnamon roll was amazing. The gravy and Biscuit was very good as well as the sausage roll with cheese. We be back again on another trip to the boro.

A step back in time with delicious treats. The pastries tasted like they came from the heart and the cake doughnuts will leave you wanting more. Sausage rolls with and without cheese are wonderful for a hearty breakfast. Lastly, the party cookies are a delightful treat to have for snacking or entertaining friends. Highly recommend this bakery!

Maybe the best donuts I 🍩 ever ate. The devils food chocolate is one of a kind fantastic. The biscuits and everything I have tried on them is delicious. I don't make it often, but every time has been good. Friendly Southern hospitality, the service is good..

Friendly, authentic, reasonably priced, can get lunch, open on Saturday afternoon thanks to Trade Day On The Square.

This place is a gem. It is only open in the mornings and a short lunch. I haven't tried their lunch but heard it is good. I go in the mornings for their donuts and sausage rolls. Their sausage rolls and warm devils food donuts are not surpassed. There is a good variety of pastries without having so much you do not know what to choose.

My Grand father would always bring me in here when ever I visited him. They always had the best cookies and donuts. They always had some of my favorite sweets. If you ever get the chance to go in I would recommend that you do. They always keep it looking nice. Five Stars, would recommend.

Awesome Family Bakery their doughnuts an little sausage breads were just what we needed to eat the spot. After a busy morning. It has been awhile since we have gotten out bcuz of covid going wild again. So we took advantage of getting out an enjoying Family time.

Amazing bakery with all homemade donuts, cookies and special holiday treats. Donuts are as good or better than Krispy Kreme and owner of bakery is so kind and friendly.....gives all her leftovers away at end of day!

This is an old fashioned bakery that us of a certain age (say 70s) will appreciate. It is right out of the 1950s! All fresh stuff, and a great variety (after all...it is the Variety Bake Shop!).

and everything else!

This bakery is the best! Homemade doughnuts, cakes and cookies are so delicious. There are usually 3 or 4 people just waiting for them to open daily. This is a must if you are in the area!

The Bake Shop is really a Gem for Scottsboro to have! It has yummy food, pastries, donuts, sausage rolls, etc. We are extremely lucky to have this Hometown Bakery in our little town. I hope the tradition continues for years to come!

I'm so glad I don't live in Scottsboro. I'd spend all of my money here. Donut holes that melt in your mouth & sausage rolls that are always worth the wait.
