I have reviewed a ton of restaurants, and Tamara’s ranks 10/10 in my book of reviews. I went back to back nights and ordered a ton of menu items. I was shocked how amazing ALL of them were. All of the food is fresh and well prepared. Kristen waited on us, and she was an absolute pleasure. She recommended amazing dishes that were all great. Even if you’re so full that you can’t eat another bite, if you don’t try the bread pudding you're missing out. It’s hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. I spoke with Tamara and she was a pleasure to talk to. Tamara takes pride in great, quality food and it shows in every single dish that goes out. We will be back Wednesday for brunch to check out those menu items and can’t wait to do so. If you’re in the Fairhope area Tamara’s is a must, and the daily happy hour menu from 3:00-6:00 is definitely an added bonus.

Good and service was phenomenal. Had the honey baked Brie, Bloody Mary, 4 oz filet for lunch, fried oyster po boy, clam chowder, gumbo, bread pudding, and turtle cheesecake. All amazing.

We sat at the bar during lunch. This place has the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. The bartender, Cameron was awesome. She really made us have a great time. BlackBerry crush was worth a try for sure. The atmosphere and other workers were great also. Definitely recommend coming here

Maybe the best place to eat in Fairhope. The brunch is awesome and they have a $5 Bloody Mary bar that you can create your own Bloody!! $12 champagne bottles to make your own Mimosas. The food is always hot and fresh and the service is A+++. We love coming to Tamara’s and always look forward to our next trip

Best brunch on the eastern shore by far. This place is a yes all the way around. The food is amazing, the selection is phenomenal, and the mimosas are only $2.50! If you haven't been, make plans to go. There's probably going to be a wait, which face it means it's good, but it moves fast and is worth every minute.

We discovered Tamara's when we attended the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival in March 2023.

We have been there 3 times total because we live in Florida. Truly, the entire experience was perfection every time! Phenomenal food! Honestly, I wouldn't change a single thing about Tamara's! Desiree was our server. She was incredibly personable and responsive to our every request! The smooth jazz music was so appreciated too! I told my husband this is the place I want to come to for my birthday and anniversary, it's so special! We're big foodies, world travelers and art lovers! Thank you for a wonderful visit every time! It's worth the 2/ hr drive. I've told all my friends about Tamara's! I'm planning a visit with 3 of my friends very soon!

First visit to Tamaras was great. Cocktails and food were wonderful. Server was friendly and attentive. Bar a bit busy so drinks took a little time. Menu had lots of options I'm excited to go back and try.

I wish that I would have found out about this place sooner. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy but nice, and the service was professional and caring. The portions are large and delicious so go there with an appetite. Not only have I become a regular, I will be telling all of my friends about it, just like a friend told me.

Absolutely the best crabcake I’ve ever eaten. I ate a crabcake here years ago, and still remembered it, so went in again today, and was not disappointed!
Have a glass of Chardonnay and a Caesar salad with it! Yum

I decided to treat myself to dinner at Tamara's Downtown to celebrate my 59th birthday. I had heard a lot of good things about it, so I drove from Pensacola to see for myself and it did not disappoint.
It was a Wednesday night and I didn't expect it to be so busy but they had a large group (22 people) being seated besides everyone else, but we all got seated. Unfortunately my seat at the bar had me in a corner where I was kind of missed for a little while. But I get it, I work in food service and I know how it can get when it gets busy, but the ladies behind the bar really stepped up. I knew I wanted escargot, I'd never had it before and I was curious about the dish. Let me tell you, I could have eaten that particular dish and gone home, it was that good. The snails were in a garlic butter sauce and the French bread was damn addictive dipping it in it. I had to stop myself from wolfing the bread down because I had my entrée coming. For my main dish I ordered the pork chop on a bed of spinach, mushrooms, potatoes and sweet potatoes with grilled pineapple on top. I knew from the looks of the dish that I would be taking quite a bit of it home with me. The bone in pork chop was juicy and a perfect medium well. The spinach/potatoes mixture was delicious, cooked well but not mushy. It even came with a side salad that was pretty basic, nothing special. All in all I really enjoyed my meal and I plan to return.
P.S. My neighbors next to me had the chocolate bomb for dessert and they graciously allowed me to take a picture.

We have stopped every year, on our way home to Ontario, in the beautiful, quaint town of Fairhope for over 20 years. This year we came upon Tamara's and had an amazing dinner there. The clam chowder was some of the best I have had and the mains were equally well prepared and delicious. We were able to have their happy hr wine price for dinner which was also a nice perk. Our server Sarah was so attentive, even while serving other dinners in the busy open concept, clean and nicely furnished dinning area. She made sure our visit enjoyable and we thank her for that. We will be back next year to enjoy their food and hospitality on our next southern trip.

Stopped in for the Crab Cakes!!! It’s my favorite here! It sits on a bed of fried spinach…it’s addicting! I also had the Clam Chowder and the Grilled Salmon for lunch! The service was amazing as usual! Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. This is the perfect lunch venue that could easily be a favorite date night! If you haven’t gone yet…GO!!!

This was our 1st time eating at this establishment and our Waiter name was Daniel. He was the absolute best! He was definitely on point. He was engaged with our family of 6, he never let our glasses get empty. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very delicious. I can go on and on about Daniel, just know my family appreciated him to the fullest! Hats off to Daniel, the world needs more servers like him!

This is another place that we make a point to visit, at least once a week. The food is always top notch and well-worth the price. We've had 4, maybe 5 different servers so far, and they have all provided 5-star service with great attitudes and friendly personalities. It's beyond obvious that the owner takes great pride in providing her guests the best food and service possible. That will keeps us regulars!

Our group of 20 had a private dinner celebrating a wedding and it was outstanding! Nice private room with gas fire bowls at each end of the table (it was still a bit cold). The server, Desiree, was incredible and one of the best I've ever experienced. Food was excellent and the value was good. A great choice for our event. Thanks Tamara!!

My husband and I were visiting from Dothan. I met someone on the Pier who recommended this restaurant. Oh my gosh! What wonderful food not to mention the people we met there. Love the friendly atmosphere and professional servers. Thank you for the delicious crab cakes. Thank you for the sweet conversation.

Wonderful food and service. We went in with 2 kids under 2. We had the BEST service ever. They were more than accommodating with our kids. The food was amazing. Everything exceeded our expectations!
It wasn’t our first time there but we will definitely be back.

First off, it's a beautiful building and has such a cozy atmosphere. My sister and I went for lunch on a Wednesday. We were seated right away. My favorite part of my meal was actually our appetizer. We had the honey pecan baked brie, and it was great. The perfect mix of flavors and textures. I had the downtown club and sweet potato fries, which are more like wedges. Let me warn you, the sandwich was huge! And delicious! I had trouble finishing my food. You get a good portion for the price. I'd like to go back and try a dessert and the brunch menu soon.

Our party of four had a wonderful time at Tamara’s! On a busy night we only waited a few minutes for a table gathered around the fire pits on the cozy back porch. Our server Kristen took amazing care of us! The oysters are AMAZING, and we loved the spinach and artichoke dip. Entrees were also delicious - the snapper, sesame tuna, and seafood risotto were our favorites. I’d highly recommend Tamara’s for its incredible service, atmosphere, and delicious food!
