Thomas Hospital Emergency - Malbis

Went in for MRI and check in was quick and courteous ! Of outstanding note was the MRI technician for extensive information, efficiency and such a kind heart! Made a tough procedure as comfortable as possible for 5 Star effort on this January 10th. Assisting nurse was kind and showed such a caring nature. Thanks & God bless!

Friendly staff. Wasn’t busy. Quick check in. Waited a bit on the dr. But was worth it. Good bedside manner and my dad was out within 2 hrs. Testing and exam revealed future surgery will be needed. Glad we went in.

Positive experience

Went in this week with wife experiencing severe pain.

The wait time to a exam room was less than 30 minutes.

Wife received IV along with antibiotics after test results

Was out of there within 3 hours or so.

Very good staff and very positive experience the doctor was professional and did a great job explaining what was going on.

I hope to not have to go back but would go here again.

We are so grateful for this facility. On two occasions within the last three to four months, we have had to use the Malbis ER for two different family members. The entire team of medical providers were professional, kind, and welcoming. Today, they went above and beyond for our youngest child and they were dedicated in their investigative process of ruling out every possible cause of emergency medical need. Every hour spent there was worth it, regardless of how tired we may have been when we left. The providers do this thanklessly each day. We are so appreciative for hearts of those that serve in the medical field and we hope that more community members will take a quick moment to recognize the cleanliness, the convenience and the professionalism of Malbis Emergency. The more affirmation we offer, the more we will fill their empty tanks after long hours of caring for the Ill, the injured and even the verbally combative patients. Thank you, Malbis Faculty and Staff!

I had a scheduled head MRI with contrast. They got me back on time, early actually. Randy helped me out that day, was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I will definitely use this facility again!

They made what could have been a very unpleasant experience almost fun for our toddler granddaughter. She had her first emergency room visit because of a fall/head laceration. Their professionalism and compassionate care made our experience as good as it could have been under the circumstances. We appreciate you all and are grateful you’re in our area!

I had an awesome experience! Yes, I felt like garbage but everyone was very nice and professional. I was kept informed about my test results and given treatments in a timely manner. No ER or urgent care facility is going to be as quick as a drive thru for fast food! I’m glad everyone took their time to treat my illness fully. Thank you to everyone working on 2/5/23❤

The staff here is exceptional. My daughter was bitten by a dog. We couldn’t have asked for better treatment!

I have been a patient there 2 times. Once I was back in a room within 15 minutes and the other time maybe 20 minutes. From the front desk to everyone on the health team I could not be more pleased. Very nice and professional in every aspect of their profession. Thank you again for treating me so well.

Really have no idea why this place has so many negative reviews. I have been here countless times. I’ve been here for two kidney stones, appendicitis, other issues, etc. Every singe time I come here everyone from the staff up front to the nurses and doctors are incredibly nice and take good care of me. I have absolutely never had anyone be rude to me or even short. Everyone is super nice and friendly here. Every single time I have come wether it has been in the middle of
the night or in the middle of a Saturday, they get me back and take care of me within 20 minutes and my stay has never been longer than a couple hours. Most the time I’m out of here within the hour. Great place and great staff. I refuse to go to any
other ER because this one is so exceptional. I am seriously so dumb founded by the negative reviews. My husband has been here too and had great experience.

I was scheduled to have an MRI on last evening, 6/5/2023. I would like to personally recognize the Radiologist Randy for going above and beyond with my test. He was very professional and explained each step completely. I was very apprehensive because in 2012 I had a severe unexpected allergic reaction to the contrast dye used for a CT scan. Randy assured me that I would be fine since the dye used for the MRI was not iodinated. As a precautionary measure, my Dr. had prescribed a regimen of Prednisone and a benadryl which I took prior to my arrival. Thank you Randy for all you did to make me confident and comfortable which assured a successful MRI test.

I don't understand the negative reviews here. Yes, it was a bit packed. Yes, I had to wait a little bit. But, they took really good care of me, did the procedure and had great bedside manners even though I am a big cry baby. I don't have insurance and they even helped me with that. I feel infinitely better today than I did yesterday so I'll take it!!!

Fantastic service from a great staff. I loved "Kristin" the nurse. She was very friendly and made me feel at ease. On staff Doc was very nice and efficient. Highly recommend!

I would like to say I received some of the best care and service that I have ever experienced, through an emergency department. I went for an MRI and this staff was some of the best. The staff within the 3 places I've been this week for my reason of visit has been incredible. Thank you for all you do!

Coming back to share a very positive review since I unfortunately saw so many negative reviews! I had an emergency in the middle of the night this week. I was alone and sick and not in my home town. It was scary and I was in pain. They saw me fast and treated me exceptional. When I say they I mean everyone from the registration staff, nurses, radiology techs to the MD. They were kind, gentle and helped get me comfortable as quickly as they could. The facility was clean, neat and parking was very easy. I am so grateful for this facility, location and the wonderful staff that I felt went above + beyond to help me as best as they could. Thank you!

Dr. Sharp and his team at Malbis are a life saver. I took my son in there early Tuesday morning for an extreme tonsil infection. Prior to this visit he had 2 dr visits with his primary doctor and a visit with an ENT on Monday. He had an amazing nurse named Anna while we were there. She was so caring and compassionate. I will always be eternally grateful for their medical intervention and care.

I walked into this ER with chest pains after having driven myself there back in June 2020. They took me straight back were very caring and quickly stabilized me and got me to the cath lab at Thomas Hospital. I am forever grateful to Thomas Hospital and this ER. Thank you so much.

i went to this er for chest pains related to what i suspected to be covid, my check in was quick and easy and in less than an hour i was seen by mr.paul (my nurse). ms.brittney came in shortly after mr.paul did my check up and swabbed my nose for covid and the flu. they gave me my bracelet and sent me back out to wait for my results. after about an hour they called me back and ms.crystal, the nurse practitioner, let me know i did indeed have covid. she went over everything i had to do and was very nice. all the staff i interacted with were fast and kind, and considering how busy the er was tonight, id say they handled everything very quickly and with great care for me as a patient. (:

I was seen at the ER on the 22nd of May for unbearable pain on my right side. I was seen very quickly and could not have asked for better care from an ER staff. I was diagnosed with gallbladder issues and set for surgery at the hospital the next day. I am very thankful for Shannon, Maggie, Dr. Williams, and the Ultrasound sound (sorry, didn't catch your name)! Great place!
