McGucken Park

I explored the park as I rode the Aldridge Creek Trail. The park is a nice little area with lots to do.

Really nice area to walk around during the entire year just for exercise. There's a bridge that connects to the walking trail on the other side of the creek at the back end of the baseball field cluster

It has many open fields for various sports, perfect for my favorite game Ultimate Frisbee.

Great place to walk. Very peaceful. Also great place for dogs to run free. I like to close the field gates and let my Dog run off-lease. I have seen many people there working out. There is also an amazing walking trail Within easy access. Right outside of the football field you can go on to the walking trail Mini ride bikes at bikes and walk and run. I have seen people walking their dogs on leash and and have very obedient obedient or mount tempered dogs who do not come after you or bark at you either.

This is a favorite spot for my family to park and walk on the Aldridge Creek Greenway. From the small north parking lot you file the gravel road around the baseball field to the bridge that crosses the creek. If you choose to go all the way to Ditto Landing, it's about 3 miles each way, but it's paved and doable. The park itself is clean and has 4 small baseball fields. There's other field space, including a football field. There's also a kids playground with slides and swings for younger kids. Bring a snack. I'm not aware of any food in walking distance.

Awesome park in Southeast Huntsville!

Soccer, Football, Futsal, Baseball, playground, Tennis and a small Basketball court.

Just overall a great place. Not crowded only when there is events. The greenway right next to it is a great place to multi species fish. But no cats. A lot of bream, sunfish and bass

Large park. Lots of room to run around. Two different sizes of play grounds for different ages, and bathrooms. We love playing at this park.

Awesome park got all the good stuff

Very nice park with lots of different activities: river walk, playground with lots of climbing equipment and swings, Archery, and disc golf.

Nice open area to run my RC cars! Oh and other stuff like: jungle gym, basketball hoop, baseball fields…etc

The park is always clean, has plenty of seating, fields are always kept neat, and it has a great playground.

Great recreational park

5 stars other then some kids who come here aren't the best started pushing me and stuff 14 plus but other than that we all go here and hit golf balls and go creeking

Great park with ball fields, playground and even a roller hockey rink. City of Huntsville keeps it looking great!

Great park with direct access to the Aldridge Creek Greenway. Turtles under the bridge like treats.

Perfect place to practice soccer, nice field, and great parking lot and rest rooms

Usually not too crowded. Fun for 7 and 2 year old.

Neighborhood park with sports fields, a well-maintained playground that's particularly great for younger children, and access to the greenway.
