A small version of a Fresh Market. Deli has a good selection and the coffee shop in the back is really good. Don’t let the barn fool ya. Big local craft beer and wine selection too. Great find

Surprisingly great grocery store with everything you need for a good weekend. The highlight is the bakery and deli. High quality sandwiches and baked goods. The croissants were excellent - flaky outside layers and buttery soft inside with a nice chew.

Really nice market. Handmade bakery, breads and desserts. Nice place to grab a sandwich and eat on patio.

Good food and friendly staff makes this restaurant a nice place to get away for a great quick sandwich. The atmosphere is also pleasant throughout the store and the dining area. On nice days there is a large outdoor dining area. The food is fresh and delicious. I had the grilled beef wrap and my husband had the hamburger. We each had a glass of tea. Everything was very good. The sweet tea is very sweet, but you serve yourself and there is unsweetened tea to mix with it to get it the way you want it. There is also a nice market type grocery store here.

Great goods! Awesome staff...a notch above CFA. Baker starts at 2am! Delicious steaks and pastries.

Huge fan of Catherine's! They regularly stock plant-based and low-carb items that would be an hour's drive to purchase otherwise. Their freshly-made selection is always on point, and they have a great wine & beer selection to boot! Can't recommend enough.

What a delight! Great little market/cafe with excellent selection of local/craft beers and wines as well as the usual selection. Need to throw together a gourmet luncheon or dinner--look no further. Catherine's has everything you may need. I found this place looking at Google maps after a search located the Springhouse restaurant nearby. So, we drove out of our way to eat lunch there. Our sandwiches were really good. Big sandwiches, choice of side (excellent homemade potato chips), great selection of different prepared salads and bakery goods in the cafe, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as fresh meats in the butcher's case. If you're in the area... go there and enjoy some of their offerings. You'll leave quite satisfied I bet.

I am not from the area but always love eating and shopping here. They have always taken really good care of us during the Lake Martin 100 mile race for several years. Excellent, friendly, hard-working staff!

They have great speciality products here. Awesome selection of meats. Steaks are top quality and tender. The vegetables are awesome. I love their salad products. The hot food area is great, they have specials everyday. The lasagna day is perfect. You get salad, lasagna, and garlic bread. They have milk, eggs, bread and alot of canned foods. This is a nicer, smaller type grocery store.

If you on at Lake Martin Catherine's offers the only choice for higher end groceries. Cheeses, drinks, wine, and other small batch items can be found here. Good selection of meat and good quality. The premade deli goods are worth a buy as all of the ones I have tried have been great.

They have great fresh food made while you wait and freshly prepared salads. Plus a nice wine selection. The grocery area has basics to cook from when you don't want to run the Alec City.

Just enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the café. No surprise in that it’s always fantastic. The staff is always smiling and goes above and beyond to make the experience special. It’s just an amazing place that we are blessed to have.
