Dr. Enrico D. Gaspar, MD

I was really sick admitted through the ER Dr.Gaspar was the on call doctor and I firmly believe his quick diagnosis of pancreatitis saved me. I spent 10 days in the hospital first few days I was in and out consciousness. I sorta remember test being done but I had thrown up dry heaved myself to exhaustion. Once the vomiting stopped and a diagnosis confirmed I started getting better and was able to have Gatorade and jellos instead of just IV fluids. The problem was this continued with pain and no appetite I was sent to Birmingham St. Vincent and was diagnosed with auto pancreatitis my pancreas was not functioning properly to digest food. But thanks to Dr. Gaspar I didn’t have to go through unknown diagnosis and the St. Vincent didn’t have to guess he excepted the diagnosis and found a mass in my pancreas it was biopsied thank God not cancerous. I was put on meds to digest food and replace enzymes the pancreas was not producing and I’ve lived a normal life. Thank you Dr. Gaspar I’ll always believe you saved my life.

I take my husband Danny to see Dr. Gaspar and I couldn't ask for a better doctor for him and how he really does listen to you. His nurse Leah Smith is amazing I have had to talk to her a few times on my husband behalf and she was great. Office staff is very kind

If you're prescribed a controlled substance from another doctor, then NO Dr. Gaspar will not give out more pain meds. You can't doctor hop and expect to get pain meds from an amazing doc like Gaspar. He's too smart for that and unlike a lot of other docs, he cares about helping instead of bandaging a boo boo. So before whining about not being taken care of, think about what I've said.

The sweetest Dr in Marshall county. Really. Smart too. Cares. Give kindness back and you are good to go.

I went to see Dr Gaspar today, he was a very pleasant and knowledgeable Dr, one of the best so far,I sure would recommend him

I take ultram and have a mental disorder I was treated so bad I cried I haven't been able to move my arm and hands and there in fire BUT after he found out that I was in therapy he ran out and I tried to explain that if I take double I will run out and fail drug test for other Dr.ran no test in hands I STILL Don't know what is wrong DON'T SEE Gasbar if you want a Dr. E.R is about the same worried this delay may course something bad please pray for my arm thank you.
