Wales West RV Resort & Light Railway

Great campground and staff! Not too far from the beach, they've got a train ride/indoor pool/outdoor water slide &swimming hole/playgrounds/activities spread out around everywhere! Fun for all ages! My family and I loved every minute we stayed here.

Wales West's light show is truly the best I've experienced. The lights are incredibly beautiful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience delightful. Go check it out for yourself. You’ll enjoy it!

This place was so fun! It's small n doesn't look like much but we had so much fun there. The pool was indoor n cold and the lake was fun with a little beach to play on n a cool slide to slide down n a small man-made waterfall to stand under with cold water. It had nice picnic tables on a nice deck and then a fun train ride to go on. The food was good too and the service was very friendly and a very clean place. Will definitely be back and was worth the 10$ a person

This was our first time coming here and we absolutely LOVE IT!
Everybody was just so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Everyone working was so gracious and they done such a phenomenal job of making us feel welcomed. It was so very well decorated! It was just beautiful! There's a train ride (scary and non scary) that'll take you to the pumpkin patch so that you can pick out your pumpkin to decorate!! They have a small scary house at this location as well. Highly recommend that you check this out! The ghouls inside REALLY do an excellent job! At the end of your ride back to your original departure, they have snacks ready and waiting for you! There's a small train ride, a wagon ride, a potato cannon, an inflatable corn maze, a jump-a-roo, and a couple of play areas for the little ones! You also need to try their kettle corn! It's amazing! All in all, me and my family had such an amazing time last night! We will most definitely be back next year and this will most definitely be a family tradition from now on! Way to go Everyone!!!

Want a blessing to have found this place. Big lots, reasonable prices, and very friendly staff, and indoor pool, trains, food, and in a nice quiet area not far from Fairhope, Foley, and the beach.
Would have given it more stars if I could have.

Very nice clean place . Nice neighbours that are here year around . Also has indoor showers ..swimming pool..hot tub ..fun center. 2 trains that take you and your family around the park . You can also fish . Small lake with slide . Indoor and outdoor showers . Picknick tables great for renting if having a family get-together. Tons for the kids to do along with a Playland area for toddlers , and their having a summer program starting this year. Not far from Orange County Beach and fishing pier with concession stands .. and also has car showes along with huge ferris wheel. I highly recommend this place . Had a blast the 2 weeks I was here with my kids . Enjoy your stay in Alabama y'all ❣

We had the most amazing time!!! Train rides, Santa, crafts, fake snow, snowball cannon, food, some many things!!! Soooo many beautiful lights!!! The attention to detail with with decorations is amazing! Very friendly employees and clean restrooms.
I give this place 10 stars!!!

Great RV Park. They have a lake with water slide, AN INDOOR POOL AND JACUZZI. The bathrooms are clean with private shower.

Holiday Train Ride is a true hidden gem in this area. Everyone working this event was very friendly and went above and beyond for their guests.

You must go to special little gem at Christmas! The millions of lights make you feel the Christmas spirit. Take a ride on the train to the North Pole and have your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus . Just a perfect hidden gem!

Oh man we loved our visit here Christmas Eve 2017! My husband and I wirh our 17, 15, 8, & 6yo. The train rides were great! Santa's village was awesome! It was a very pleasant visit our adventuring in the south(the kids and I had never been). The staff we very nice and welcoming! If we're ever in the area(with in a few hours, as we came for Biloxi for this visit) for another one of your holiday events we will surely be back!!

Blown away by how friendly everyone was. Great family friendly fun. The kettle corn is to die for. My 10 year old went nuts over the potato cannon.

Very cool experience went for a children's birthday party.. will have to go back during Christmas for Santa's workshop

Christmas Eve train ride!
So much fun! I'm not sure who had more fun 19-month-old baby girl or 49-year-old Aunt Whit.

Other than being very dusty, this a beautiful little park. Nice indoor hot tub and pool. Bathrooms very clean. Plus the Christmas decorations are over the top.

Hi, good evening! I'm writing to compliment your staff. Today was our first time attending and we were blown away by your staff. My 4 year old son has sensory sensitivities and food allergies so outings are hard for us because it's hard for him to feel included when we have to step aside for things too fast, loud or treats with gluten in them. Your staff accommodated him above and beyond anything we've ever experienced. The woman working concessions tracked down the ingredients on your cotton candy and found out they were gluten free so my son got to experience cotton candy for the first time! When we were in line to board the train we asked to sit in the back so the horn wouldn't scare him and without hesitation we were accommodated. While we were boarding he turned down the speakers, too. When we were picked up from the pumpkin patch the same gentleman saved the back seats for us without us even asking. I cried happy tears tonight and my son said today was the best day of his life. Thank you so, so much- The Shows family.
P.s- My mother in law travels between Mississippi and Colorado in her camper and said you have the nicest restrooms she's ever seen in a campsite.

Such an amazing experience! Every year they never cease to make it better than the year before! Even after moving, it's worth 1.5 hour drive! Not one thing I could list to be negative! We enjoy checking out new places for lights and experiences, but this has been our only yearly tradition that we never miss out on.... its def the place to get you in the Christmas spirit!!

You talk about fun fun fun!! Wales West is the best!! The people are truly so wonderful and really care about the families and kids. My son Jacob loves it there so much we go on Christmas, Easter and now we will be visiting over the summer to ride the train and play!!

Absolutely love this place, one of the most peaceful and relaxing places to go to.

We can now officially say we have done all the seasons! We always have a great time! Clean, fun, fabulous staff. I love all the events they have but I think Halloween is my favorite!
