I've shopped here before when looking for used cars, but never bought one until this week when I helped a friend buy her car. The employees are all very nice and the purchase process was incredibly fast, painless and totally pressure-free. The salesman I dealt with was very clear that he is not on commission, yet he was still very helpful. The owner and his daughter run the office and they were both friendly and efficient. They've been in business this for 18 years, so they know what they are doing. I've literally spent more time checking out a Best Buy than it took to buy a car here.

Just understand that this dealership sells USED CARS. They purchase them at wholesale and resell them for a reasonable, no-haggle price. They don't recondition the cars. They don't warranty them. They really know nothing about these cars - it's up to you do decide if it fits your needs and is in decent condition. The cars may have dents and dings and other problems. If you are looking for a warranty or to haggle over the price, or worry about every imperfection, then go elsewhere and pay more and deal with high-pressure salespeople. But if you need inexpensive transportation sold by friendly and efficient people, this is the place.

My family has been buying cars from Automart South for years, so when I was ready to buy a car It was a 2006 Toyota Camry. It was a fair deal I didn’t feel scammed and they explained everything. I was able to pay it off in a short amount of time and even through COVID THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING. Unfortunately I was in an accident with an irresponsible driver. I knew I wanted to come back to Automart South I purchased a 2011 Suburu Forrester for an amazing price and great mechanical condition. I couldn’t be more happy. Anytime I need or want a car I can always depend on Automart South and they always provide great customer service. Kristen is always kind and very personable. The owner of Automart South ( Phillip Roders ) has got to be one of the best car dealers around my area... I bought a vehicle from him about 3 weeks ago and after driving it for a few days we had to have if checked because it had an oil leak. We went back to talk to him about it and he is going to have it fixed. I have bought several vehicles from him and he is honest and a pleasure to do business with.

Did not buy a car, but the staff was very pleasant. They listened to what we were saying and did not try to push us to buy from them..

Jim and Kristin run a good business model. They are selling cars in wholesale condition to the public which saves customers money vs buying a front line vehicle. You must understand these cars have not been through the reconditioning process and are AS-IS. I have bought 2 cars from them and they have been extremely honest and willing to work with me as long as my requests are reasonable. Some of the other reviews seem to be people feeling they got an inferior product, remember these are NOT front line ready they are freshly traded units that have not gone through the shop process. I will definitely go see them next time I am in the market for an older unit for my children.

I bought a Ford Explorer from them a couple of months ago. Kristen and Jim were really great. The car had a little over 100K on in when I drove out. The price was right and the car has performed like a charm. The first thing I did was change the oil for AMSOIL, a 100% synthetic lube. Great people. Great car. No complaints.

We bought a Nissan Minivan from Automart South today!! It was a good experience!! The salesman Mike was honest and very helpful!! We test drove and signed papers in less than an hour!! Kristen was quick getting our paperwork together (we have 5 kids so we didn't want to have to sit and wait lol) and was very nice through the whole process!! Will buy here again!!

I recently bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It drives smooth, got it at a great price, and Kristen was professional and fast with getting me in and out in no time.

In November 2014 I purchased a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor with 150,000 miles. I selected the vehicle and we had the paperwork done very fast. I called my wife to come and get her truck. She arrived and loved it. After we got it home I put full synthetic oil and a new oil filter in it and it ran like new. We have been to Atlanta and several long drives in Alabama with no problems. It's a great truck for the price. Thanks Automart South. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we got the title in the mail before Christmas. I never bought a vehicle and everything went this smooth.

Easy convenient location and can be easily seen from the main highway. They have a good selection if cars, trucks, and SUV"s. We bought our car from them and they were really nice and helpful. We test drove it and they let us go over it really closely without any objection. I highly recommend shopping here because all of the salespeople were really nice and they do try to work with people. We paid for ours outright but they will work with you.

Went there with my daughter as shes in the market for a vehicle. The expierence turned out much better than I anticipated for sure. The salesman wasn't pushy at all. He even advised her on how certain cars held up better and options she had. I'm not very easy conned and I appreciated his honesty. Even had their little dog join in the fun of looking. He wanted to go for a ride in whatever we choose lol. We definitely would go back there!

Bought a Tahoe from these guys process went quick with no hassles very pleased with purchase and will purchase again from these guys. Thanks yall

this was my 3rd purchase from them this yr. after 4 days the transmission went out and the car was effectively dead and unreliable called the owner at Automart South and he told me where to get it taken to...... i dropped it off and a few days later automart south called me and said my car was ready and I could go pick it up. the transmission had been replaced and at no cost to me!!! which is awesome!!! they stand behind their products, anyone else could have simply said gee sorry about that but you bought a used car what did you expect? but not Automart south they went above and beyond and have earned my repeat business 3 times over. the car in question is a christmas present for my son. it really could have been a bad experience except for the wonderful people at Automart South.

I saw a altima online, called and they held the car for me since I was making the drive. the salesman was honest about what was wrong with the car (minor dents and melting dash) and had no issue letting me check it out and test drive it! The car wasn't perfect but the price reflected such and I couldn't be happier, so far I've put around 1000 trouble free miles on the car!

Very friendly and helpful staff. it's nice to be able to have a local car dealership in the neighborhood that you can walk into and talk to a smiling face about a great deal on a used car. Convenient internet forms only go so far.
