Amazing COE campground, quiet, beautiful views. We stayed during the week so it wasn't busy at all. Pick your site carefully, they are not all the same angle or size. Only water and electric at the sites, no sewer. We got the perfect site, site 12 with 50 amp electric right on the water for $30 a night. Dump station on the way out. Friendly hosts. Don't be like the campers before us and leave trash all over your site and in the still smoldering fire pit, that's not cool. We will be back!

Loved this camping spot. $28/$30 per spot, and that's pricey for me for tent camping but this was truly worth it. Each spot is spacious and has lovely views. And shockingly the bugs are not bad at all, like where do they take the mosquitoes? I'd come back here and stay anytime. Clean bathrooms, respectful and quiet other guests, dog friendly, what more could you want?

Such a wonderful park! Asphalt hiking trails with bridges, park for the kids, basketball court, swimming beach and fishing docks. We stayed in site 9, a pull through site all concrete with water and electric. A really nice park and the camp host was amazing!

The park is clean. The bathrooms are clean but need SOAP and papertowels. The sites are plenty big and have nice fire areas, concrete pads, and picnic tables. I would most definitely recommend this park

We stayed a couple of nights to start our spring break week. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. Bathrooms were also very clean. Older, but clean. Our loop didn't have very many campers during our stay. All sites have electric and water hookups but no sewer. I'm pretty sure all of the Federal campgrounds (at least in this area) do not have sewer hookups, although there IS a dump station close to the entrance by the garbage dumpsters.

There are three loops, each with its own bathhouse and fishing pier. All are connected by trails. There is also a small playground by the check-in station, as well as pavilions and a basketball/volleyball court. The Whitten Center is a nice feature, with informative plaques and pictures detailing the Tenn Tom Waterway, Army Corps of Engineers, and other aspects of the region.

This is a beautiful location. All loops are on ridges, well above the water level, so the sites with flat areas around the concrete pads are great for tent camping. We set up our 20'x20' tent on Site #24 and had plenty of room. That or Site #25 will most likely be our go to spots for tent camping in the future.

There is a restaurant just down the road by the marina, Guy's Place. I've never been, but I've heard great things about it so it will be on our list for the next trip.

This campground is definitely worth looking at!

Stopped in for a night heading to Tiffin for express bay service work…..short drive to Red Bay, AL and was super happy when I pulled into my site for the night…..site 52 is fabulous as it has a beach on the river! Ingress and egress in a 45 foot tag axle coach pulling a Jeep was no issue and getting in and out was very simple. The camp host was the sweetest lady who was most accommodating. Highly recommend in all regards, especially for $30. 50 amp plus water at site and two dump stations with great access on way out.

When you drive in you are greeted by the friendliest people!! Sites are easy to find and very well maintained. Our site #52 had a gorgeous view of the lake, sunsets beautiful!

WOW!!!!!
This place is AWESOME 🎉🎊❣
Let's start with the overnight fee ($22-$24).
There are VERY CLEAN bathrooms (with showers), just bring your own soaps, shampoo, hand & bath towels.
The spaces are easy to maneuver into and decent space from your neighbor.
We stayed on a Sunday night, and left Monday afternoon. It was soooooooo peaceful, we didn't want to leave... so we did the next best thing; we made reservations to come back on Wednesday (I mean at these prices, WHY NOT?????)

The bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. For lake/river views, I recommend sites 28 and 29. For privacy, sites 40 and 41 were nice. Cell coverage was spotty, but Fulton, MS is very close, so it's easy to drive to get coverage.

We stayed here for a week in the off season. We stayed across from the bathrooms. Bsthrooms were ckean. They have two showers. They could use updating. They do have a washer and dryer. Electric and water at sites. Sewer and dumpsters on the way out. They have an awesome visitor center with lots of history and telks about tge Tennessee-Tom Waterway. A nice pier to walk out on.

Gives you the feel of a true camping experience without being remote or primitive. Camp host, Bobby, is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Prices are great and they honor the national park golden access which takes 50% off! Many sites are waterfront and still completely treed, only another dollar or two per night. Marina nearby.

Clean. Most sites level, all are paved, not to close together. Good water and power hookups. On site free sewer dump.

Tent camped here for one night on a road trip. Quiet campground, clean bathrooms, and pleasant gate attendants. It was nice that the beach and boat launch were available only for registered campers since it cut down on through traffic.
